I'm gonna pay for the visa fee na on Monday. and then after non apply na online para pasched ng interview. balak ko sana march 26 since yun lang nakuha ko leave from work. kinakabahan na ko. pag ba nagpainterview e kelangan nakabusiness attire?

^^madali lang basta may available slot you can only check the schedule once you have paid/completed your DS-160.

^wala namang dress code sa embassy basta dapat mukhang presentable at respectable hehe

nakapag bayad na kami thru BPI online last friday bakit hanggang ngayon hindi pa rin kami makapag pa sched?

^nagsubmit ka na ng DS-160? pag napasa mo na at bayad na ang fees, pwede ka na magpa-appointment online or sa call center ng US embassy 

medyo matagal ata pag BPI online. not sure, pero I think 1 business day to process. try mo ulit bukas

yes nakapag submit na kame, may barcode na kami plus yung picture.. eto kasi sabi, "Any time after 11 a.m. the following business day" so friday kami nag bayad dapat diba ngayon pwede na..

I just paid kanina before 3pm. So bukas pa ko pwede mag paappointment right?

um-okay na yung amin mga 4PM medyo late nga ng onti,, earliest sched na meron as of yesterday is March 25, 6:30AM tapos March 27 and 28. For april wala pang sched.. Hindi pa kami nag pa sched kase prefer sana namin Thur or Fri ng April.. Hopefully may makuha kami sched pa..

Finally got our US Visa. I'm so happy we were given 10 years multiple entry visa

Just to share my experience. I applied and scheduled an interview together with my brothers.

Our common profiles:
- All of us have our own businesses that is more than 2 years
- Last time we got our Visa was on April 2000 valid only for 2 weeks and we were still in school back then
- Our ages ranges from 28-33 years old.
- I'm married for 11 months while my other siblings are still single.
- Our parents already have 10 years multiple entry visa
- We travel a lot
- All of us are applying for a tourist Visa

We brought a lot of documents such as itineraries provided by a travel agency, business certificates, bank certificates, old passports for proof of our travels, and property documents. All of which had not been requested by the consul but we can never be too sure so we brought them anyway.

We were actually surprise how quick the interview went. Almost lunch time na kasi at tinatapos na nila first batch of applicants. Anyway, here is how our interview went.

VO: How are you guys related?
ME: We're brothers and sisters. (He smiles because we don't look alike)
VO: What is your purpose of visiting the US?
ME: We're going on a family vacation
VO: So you guys are going to stay in San Francisco Hilton Hotel?
ME: Yes, but we're going to stay in different hotels based on our tour.
VO: I see. So it's a multi-hotel tour. We're you guys able to go to the US when you got your first visa?
ME: Half of us went but the other half weren't able to go. Something came up so half of our family needed to stay behind. We were only given 2 weeks visa so there was no time for another trip. (We emphasized the 2 weeks validity para makakuha ng 10 years mutli entry visa :p )
VO: Are you married?
ME: Yes
VO: For how long?
ME: 8 months (I incorrectly counted the months but it didn't affect the interview)
VO: Do you have any children?
ME: No
VO: Why didn't your husband come with you?
ME: He is at work and he already has a US Visa

VO: So what is <Bro 1 business name>?
BRO1: <Explains his business>
VO: How long have you been in business?
BRO1: 3 yrs.
VO: Do you have a store here?
BRO1: Yes
VO: What was your job before you started your business?
BRO1: I worked in our family business but before that I was a real estate agent

VO: Okay. Who is <Bro 2 business name> and what is your business?
BRO2: <Explains his business>
VO: That's very cool. Who are your clients?
BRO2: <Enumerates his clients>

VO: Great. Who is <Bro 3 business name> and what is your business?
BRO3: <Explains his business>
VO: Is this a family business? (He asks this because my brothers college degree is unrelated to his line of business)
BRO3: Yes. I'm continuing my parent's business since they are already retired.
VO: That explains it. I was wondering why your college degree is totally unrelated to your business. (VO laughs)

VO: Lastly, what is <My business name>?
ME: <I explained my business>
VO: What did you study in college?
ME: I studied Finance.

VO: So all of you graduated in DLSU?
ME: No. Just me and <BRO 2>. <BRO 1> studied in UST while <BRO 3> studied in CSB.
VO: I see. So we have a little bit of school rivalry going on. (VO laughs and we laugh with him)

VO: Okay, you guys are approved. You'll get your visas in 1 week. Thank you and have a great vacation!
US: Thank you very much.

Pansin ko lang mas madali ang interview if you go as a family and tourist visa ang application mo. Pag family kasi mas kokonte ang questions per individual assuming all of you our adults. Just make sure everyone knows their jobs or businesses otherwise they will question how you earn your income and suspect your application to be for immigrant purposes. It might also help if your length of stay is at most 1 month lang. And as advised in the previous threads, be confident and smile once in a while, answers should be short and to the point and make sure you know what you are talking about. Also, make sure na alam nyo mga sinulat nyo sa DS-160 application form.

I just tried setting up the schedule online pero wala rin sched lumalabas. Gano ba katagal validity nung payment?

received the passport with visa of my youngest daughter today. her interview was last Thursday (today is Tuesday) it's 10 year multiple. she was the only one who does not  have a visa since i was pregnant with her when we applied for our visa.

Interview kayo sabay sabay, isang window kayong family? this is my first time kukuha ng US VISA and we will travelling with family. Pano yung DS-160 form ninyo dun kayo sa option na family?

Just got my baby's visa yesterday and now i'm now ongoing completing the DS-160 form nakakakaba pala.

Hi sis lucky_mom,

Yes one window lang kami for the interview. Just to give you an idea on the step by step process:

1. Go to US embassy. Do not bring any kind of electronic devices (cellphones, usb, earphones, etc.) dahil di ka nila papapasukin. Warning din may mga tao sa labas na mag ooffer na taguin electronic devices mo tapos babalik syo after ng interview. Don't be fooled. Wag na lang kayo mag dala or leave it to someone you know or leave all of it in your car.
2. Next is the security check. Check lang nila mga bags at mga dala mo.
3. Next is you get a number. Usually they will ask you at this point if you are a family pag pareparehas ang family name nyo, dapat sabay sabay kayo sa window. They will just give you 1 number for the whole family. Wait for them to call out your number.
4. They will call out your number and they will get your fingerprints. Wait for them again to call your number.
5. When they call your number, sabay sabay na kayo iinterview sa isang window. Thats it. Right there and then malalaman mo na kung approved ka.
 
As for the DS-160 form, each of us filled out their own forms. Tapos when we scheduled online, isang tao na lang nag pa schedule. I think there is an option na you can add another person on the same schedule. Madami din tao so the earlier you are the earlier your interview. We got there at 7AM because our schedule was 830AM. We got interviewed ng 1140am.

^ yeah nakita ko nga sya when i checked it again. Unfortunately mar 26 ako nakaleave so di pwede. I guess i'll just wait na lang na mag open ng slots for april.

Finally nakapagpasched na rin. April 3 ng 630 am pinili ko para di pa pagod at masungit maginterview
