So i was expecting a baby boy since yun din gusto ni hubby. But it turned out to be a baby girl. I know medyo nadisappoint si hubby pero eventually naging ok din sya since malambing nga pag girl and masarap bihisan. :)

This is my fourth pregnancy and its really unplanned. We have 3 boys already so we're hoping na this time girl naman. Naisip namin baka kahit wala sa plano binigyan uli kami ng baby kasi girl naman to complete the family. All of us are excited pati yung 3 kids ko. They already prepared a name for a baby girl and in my mind I already made a lot of plans, stuff to buy etc for a baby girl.  Finally comes the time for an UTZ to determine the gender. I went alone to In my womb kasi gusto ko I'll be the one to break the news to my husband na baby girl na. Talagang very hoping and positive ako. Then the ob sono announced its a boy. Sabi ko are you really sure. 200% sure daw. Natawa na lang ako but deep inside full of disappointments even after a few days. But then eventually we accepted it already and now we're again excited to meet our bunso. Hope the baby did not feel my disappointment when we found out na we're having another baby boy. Every baby is a blessing. We just keep on praying na the baby is healthy, girl man o boy, ang importante healthy siya. At least solo akong reyna at prinsesa sa pamilya :)

My first is a boy.  When I learned that I was pregnant on my second, I really hoped for a girl.  I even placed the ultrasound picture on a pink frame and gave it to hubby as a gift on his birthday, the time I also told him about my pregnancy.  He also believed that I'm carrying a girl.  I already prepared a name for a girl and was so tempted to buy baby girl clothes then.  Came my 4th month, a cord was blocking my baby's private part so there was no way to know of the gender. On the fifth month which is also the birthday of my son, my husband, son and me went again for my monthly check-up.  Pagkalagay pa lang OB ko ng machine sa tummy ko, she laughed as it was the baby's penis agad nakita niya.  I can see the disappointment on my husband and so was I.  But as my OB said, that means, you need to have one more baby.  It might be a girl on the third time.  And when we dropped by at the clinic of my son's pedia and also infomed her that he's a boy, she said "A baby is always a blessing".  As the day passed by, we know we can't do anything but to accept and be happy for it.
I'm very willing to have a third child and hoping for a girl that time.

I've been dreaming of a baby boy as our first baby. then i had an ultrasound and my OB said, 80% it's a girl. I was disappointed for the whole day! However, when you thibk about it, wala naman magagawa we can't choose! Si Lord ang may control hehe. So i cheered up, became grateful for the blessing and started looking for baby girl names ☺️

Hi sissies! Ako naman nung 1st trimester ko I've been dreaming of a boy and talagang yun talaga want ko, while daddy nya wants a baby girl naman. Super disappointed ako parang nawalan ako ng amor sakanya pero after that inisip may kakikayan ako at may ka girl talk ako soon so yun saka kahit ano man gender nya alam ko mamahalin nya parin ako no matter what.

We have a 6 y/o boy, and been praying for a girl para we have one of each na. Apparently, during my 19th week u/s, our baby turned out to be a boy again. Hehe! Temporary lang naman yung disappointment, we just need to learn how to be thankful. After all, si mister ang dapat sisihin since the sperm determines the sex of the baby. Hehe! :)

I love this thread, no holds barred. Totoong totoo. Nalungkot si sis poshgurl, as everyone seemed to be disappointed too with their own experiences kasi sometimes, we expect a lot.

Ako, ang wish lang.. Magka baby, kahit na anong gender. For someone like me na suffering from Infertility, kahit ano tanggap. Basta healthy. My first miscarriage were twins, 6 weeks pa lang sila may pangalan na sila if Boy-Boy or Boy-Girl or Girl-Girl, sobrang excited lang. Hahaha. Pero ayun, di natuloy.

So..

Thank you sis. 🙏🏼🙏🏼 praying hard.

Balak ko kasi any gender man sya, pag magpapa baby shower or anything related sa kanya, all rainbow colors. Ayun. hehe..👯

Thanks sis duhyan.

Cute nung rainbow theme. 😘😘

anyway, may mga patients ako prior to ultrasound sinasabi na talaga nila na ang mga wishes nila ay boy or girl. May iba pa nga na may pustahan with husband..

Or, talagang kebs lang kay daddy if boy or girl? Heheh.

For me naman... I don't know why i have this feeling na I'm carrying a boy again... for the THIRD time!!! that's why parang I don't want to have an ultrasound na to check the gender... I don't want to be so much disappointed, yung feeling pa lang na boy ulit, disappointing na for me. kaya parang ayoko na alamin. basta ang mahalaga lang healthy lang yung baby... kahit anong gender pa

Ganyan din ako nung nagpa utz ako at 6 mos kasi gustong gusto ko talaga ng girl as my first baby.

this is an interesting topic actually.

i am pregnant with my second and have to admit nun una ko nalaman na buntis ako i immediately pictured in my mind a baby girl! and everyone keeps on saying sana girl. hanggang ewan ko ba bigla lang ako napaisip ok din pag boy. kasi i already know how to care for a baby boy. and i totally love my mother-son bonding sa aking 5 yr old boy. and wouldnt it be cute to see my boys playing ball or building Legos together!

but then of course there is 50% chance it could be a girl! so despite this little anxiousness in me kung girl kasi it will be a new experience, wouldnt it be exciting to have a shopping buddy. i will have to learn new things like pag ayos ng hair 😄

so right now at 7 weeks, i am genuinely gender neutral. i say "genuinely" kasi di ba usually sinasabi natin kahit ano gender basta healthy but at the back of our minds we wish for a specific gender. 😄

ang swerte natin mga sis kasi na bless tayo na magkaroon ulit ng chance to have a new baby to care and love! so excited kung anong gender ang bigay ni Lord! 😍

Hi sissies! I'm pregnant with baby number 2. My eldest is a girl. We were really hoping for a boy kasi yung husband ko, siya na rin yung last na magdadala ng surname sa family nila. So yun, after the ultrasound, girl uli. At first, medyo nalungkot but thinking na 7 years namin hinintay si 2nd baby, sobrang blessing na talaga ito.

I guess, gawa na lang uli. Hehe😊

When I was younger I really want my 1st born to be a boy and shempre si hubby now wants a boy din kaya lang in my 21st week scan it was revealed na girl daw. Grabe disappointment ko as in super duper sad ako kase I was really praying for a baby boy. Mas affected pa nga ako kay hubby grabe. pero wala naman ako choice but to eventually accept at nag apologize na rin ako kay baby for feeling that way kaso di talaga maiwasan malungkot. well, at least the baby is healthy and normal. :)

Medyo nakamove on na ako.. :)

Im on my 23rd month na. Last week nag pa CAS ako plus gender determination.
