Hi sis marbleslice thanks sa suggestion. Tama we will state na lang rsvp pa lang na adult event lang yun.. And regarding friends. Really need to talk about it ni h2b.. Stressful pero yes wedding namin and we dont need to consider yung sasabihin nila. Yun nga lang baka after non eh f.o na hahaha..

^Maybe not F.O. pero expect na lang na most likely come wedding time ng friend mo, baka hindi ka din makatanggap ng invite. Some people ganun e..

Hi sisses! A learning from our wedding. We are targeting 150 guests max. We invited a total of 180 - 190 guests. During rsvp period, we reached 165 confirmed guests but come wedding day only 140 guests made it. All in all happy with the turn of events. In our case its true na there will be 10-20% fall out. Just be makulit in following up kasi that helped us a lot na mag include ng wait listed namin when the priorities send in their regrets.

sis mindiegirl, kayo ba yung primary contact for the rsvp or yung wedding coordinator nyo?

Sis rowan and exquisitegem. Ako lang naghandle. :) It helped na close friends and relatives lang ang invited namin. And surprisingly also, cooperative ang guests namin. Some didnt even wait for the follow up. I also asked for my parents help para sa mga medyo pasaway na relatives. I started to solicit responses a month before then every week sa mga hindi pa nag respond. Because of this I was able to invite others na hindi pa naman ganon ka awkward since a month to go pa. Haha. In terms of detailed info how the interval should be, I read a post of Ms Darlene re this matter way back. Good luck sisses! Kayanv kaya yan.

kwento lang... in a recent wedding both my parents were principal sponsors. They got a bit offended when they received the usual RSVP text message from the coordinator asking for confirmation, and saying that if they don't reply then they will be placed on the wait list!

My titas and titos who were principal sponsors received the same text message and they were also offended. So the parents of the couple had to call all the sponsors to apologize!!

I was a bit surprised about their coordinator since Ive seen them highly recommended around here and also considered them for my wedding before. Medyo may mga palkpak sila and not just with the RSVP.

sis Chili1113, that's kinda rude nga. Pag ganun din marereceive ng parents ko, they'll get offended as well.
We're thinking nga din that we will just manage the RSVPs, hindi na yung coordinator.  Thanks for your input.  ;)

Yup hehe or siguro before you give the coordinator the go signal to start RSVP, baka better to screen and edit the message that they will send?

I'll send you a PM sis lots-o =)

So unprofessional and arrogant naman yang coordinator na yan. Kadalasan talaga kapag matagal na sa line ng business nag-iiba rin ang attitude nila yung wala na ang pleasing personality.

^to be honest di naman matagal this coordinator. Walang manners lang talaga. Kaya napahiya yung couple sa mga guests esp sa ninangs and ninongs!

We will manage our rsvps personally. This is not covered by our OTD coordinator. And para na rin personal touch ako with the invited guests.
Once I received the copies of our prenup shoot, tinapos ko na rin yung lay-out ng wedding website namin. Ako gumawa. Dun na din sila nagRSVP. So far, I received quite a number of confirmation already. I've set a deadline for RSVP - Dec 30 para makita ko if there will still be slot for the other guests.
