from CS to Normal Delivery

Hi mga Sis,

CS delivery ako sa 1st baby ko dahil breech ang position nya, eh gusto rin sana mag normal delivery.
may 1st baby is now 19months old and i am pregnant for 3 months now?
i know that kapag 1st baby ay CS, CS rin yung susunod na baby/babies.

ang mga tanung ko ay,
1. sino na sainyo ang nakaranas na mag CS delivery muna bago normal?
2. dito ba sa  philippines apply rin un? kasi nabasa ko sa US ginagawa na at may 80% of chances daw na magging ok.
3. at gaanu ba dapat katagal na taon bago muna mabuntis kung sakali man gusto magnormal delivery after a CS delivery.

sana may makasagot ng mga tanung ko mga sis kasi gusto ko talaga magnormal delivery..
ang hirap kasi talaga ang CS ulit...

Same question. Sana may makasagot. CS din ako 9 years ago pa. I want to know if safe ba to subukan, though Im not yet pregnant ulit, hoping palang

Same scenario.but when I ask my ob-gyne she refused the normal spontaneous delivery daw.high risk for rupture while im on labor or delivery..kahiy pa daw 8 years ago [textspeak!] last caesarian section birth ko.gusto ko pa naman sana maexperience and NSD.:-(

Ako rin sis, para maexperience din at syempre mass less gastos nga naman sa totoo lang. That is kung sakaling buntis nga ako well hopefully. Pero nagresearch nga din ako may mga successful, pero marami din daw risk talaga so I think better na din na wag nalang pangarapin kung may risk din naman, buhay kasi eh hindi naman basta ano lang. Pero wait din tayo ng successful stories dito.

hi mga sis.

Yes. Ginagawa sa Phils ang TOLAC (Trial of Labor After Cesarean Section) as we now call it.

But there are some indications. (and contraindications)

First - Dapat ang indication ng first baby mo is NOT CPD (or in laymans term - Masikip ang sipit sipitan)

Pwede sya if ang indication ng CS mo is Hypertension, Oligo, Distress, Breech, Placenta Previa or Transverse

Second - One CS lang dapat, second CS, third CS before mag Vaginal delivery - poor candidate (but still pwede pa din)

Third - atleast 3 years ang gap from the previous CS

Fourth - success of TOLAC is good if you have prior Vaginal Deliveries bago ma CS, meaning 1st child mo Vaginal bago yung 2nd na CS (for some reason indicated above) then 3rd baby mo (is your present baby)  most likely ma vaginal sya.

^then I'm not a candidate because my case is the 1st, the reason why I went thru CS was because I was stuck in 6cm, the contractions where super lakas na, it could lead to uterus eruption if hindi daw ako i-c-CS na.

Younis and MedChic, sa mga advice....

next week kasi check up ko with my OB ulit.. kaya tatanugin ko cya kung pwude ako.. sya rin kasi yung Dra. ko sa 1st baby ko...

sana walang magging problem...
for both of me and my baby... :-)
