I usually don't have anything bad to say about my neighbors, but their blatant show of foreigner-worshipping earlier today was appalling. Dahil lang Korean, you let them get away with breaking the rules? Dahil lang French, okay lang kahit mambastos ng ibang tao? FYI, I've never met any foreigner in this country more rude or arrogant than that French guy we met earlier today. A truly nasty person, I'm not kidding. Pero wag kayo, my neighbors treated him as if he did absolutely no wrong! I wanted to intervene and started arguing with the guy, pero inawat ako ni mommy neighbor. Baka daw kung ano inisipin ng foreigners tungkol sa atin if we got mad at them, nakakahiya naman daw. Mygod. Yes, nakakahiya nga. Nakakahiya that you chose not to stand up for yourselves and allowed yourselves to get disrespected. I don't know if it's really because they wanted to show how nice Pinoys are, or na-intimidate lang. Either way, it's a bad excuse.

(Just want to clarify na I've met wonderful Koreans naman dito sa atin, so hindi ko nilalahat ang Koreans.) Huwag lang sana ilagay ang mga foreigners sa pedestal. There are good ones and there are bad ones, and there are some who think too highly of themselves already, so let's not feed this delusion.
