Hi! What's the best brand of dry food and wet food for adult cats? Another question, what about dry food and wet food for kittens? (Please separate yung answers. Hihi. Naguluhan kasi ako sa dating thread)

I feed princess dry cat food sa 2 adult cats ko and supplement them with papi vitamins.

Si kitten naman siguro 2 mos. pa lang siya so royal canin for kitten na wet and vitamins din. We are already looking for options para sa wet/dry food nila in the future pag lumaki na din siya.

^Please do not feed your cats Princess dry cat food. It is the worst brand of cat food in the market. It has high sodium and has been linked to urinary and kidney problems in cats.

RC is a good brand though pricey. There are other good brands available in the market like Orijen, Acana, Science Diet, etc. i know they too are pricey but they are safer for long term health of our furbabies. You can also cook/prepare food for them, ito mura pero safe since wala kang additives. Just google homemade cat food recipes.

I have 20 rescued cats and their ages range from 6 months to 13 years old. For their dry food I give them RC (indoor 27, indoor +7, urinary care and fit 32). Iba-ibang variants depende sa age and health. Wet food, I give them RC Instinctive, One Purina, Friskies paté, 9Lives and Fancy Feast. Once a week I feed them homemade cat food (boiled kamote and squash mixed with fish).

ok lang ba friskies and whiskas? Ano cheap na catfood? Namamahalan rin ako sa litter nila 1k for 1 week good for 3 cats who poop a lot. Like a looot (not diarrhea) I use the Scoop Away brand from SnR..clumping siya.. gusto ko clumping sana..any cheaper alternatives?

^Friskies and Whiskas dry cat food are okay for short term lang. Better to prepare na lang their food from scratch if you will be giving them these commercial brands. I used to feed my senior cats these brands when they were younger (1-3 years old) but they started having gum/teeth problems. According to our vet back then hindi talaga maganda the cheap commercial brands so we switched to RC dry since then.

I think cheapest na yung Litter Purrfect (green jug) from SnR unless you go the way of chicken crumble. I heard that's the cheapest, downside no clumping and no odor-control. I used to buy Litter Purrfect from SnR, minimum purchase per visit ko is 6 jugs. Sakit sa likod! Good thing I found a supplier that delivers both cat food and litter (different brand). You can check Pet Warehouse Philippines in FB, you might find an affordable alternative.

Hello ladies, what brand of cat food do you feed your cats? ok ba yung Royal Canin?

We avoid food with by-Products, unnamed meats, additives, fillers, wheat, corn, soy, rice, artificial
preservatives flavors or colors. Human grade, grain free, sustainable, free range, carageenan free, hormone and  antibiotic free human grade food that is packaged in BPA free cans. -- when possible

We feed them dry and wet food:  I and Love and You , Tikki Cat (2 recipes) and Wervua.

Thanks! But we don't have enough free time to prepare food for them. It's so hard to look for good cat food din dahil puro Princess, Whiskas, and Friskies yung nasa pet shops. We're looking for royal canin dry food na din. What's the best wet food tho? Muntikan na kami bumili ng fancy feast.

^patay gutom? hahaha Maybe personality niya lang? tapos baka tingin niya sa hair mo laruan. Sa food naman hindi pa ko nakaencouter ng pusa ng naggrowl pagdating sa food. Iba iba rin bowl ng mga cats ko pero hindi naman nag aaway.

napansin ko lang sis ha, yung mga cats/kittens na maaga nahiwalay sa nanay, hindi masyado marunong ng manners. i guess hindi kasi sila na-discipline ng mommy cat. just always say no kapag pinaglalaruan yung hair or extremities mo at iba pang hindi dapat.

growl ba habang kumakain (baka purr?) o inaaway niya talaga? sa experience ko nangyayari ito minsan kapag magkalapit sila ng bowls. yung ibang cat/kitten ayaw na may katabi sila na kumakain rin.

may isa naman akong cat na habang kumakain maririnig mo nagpu-purr.

sis feel ko patay gutom siya..we picked him up lang kase sa side of the road.. abandoned kitten talaga siya..I dont know if that had anything to do with it

^ganyan yun alaga ko nung mga kuting pa sila. Tig iisa sila ng bowl pero etong si puti kung saan kumakain sila kahel and itim pupuntahan niya kakain din siya pero di naman niya inuubos. Nambubully lang.

went to Savemore and bought multiple sachets of wet food for my favorite cat bully hehe.. whiskies and yung nasa can na maliit.. hehe.. sana may dry cat treats available like yung sa doggy..

sa bow and wow may cat treats. hindi naman pricey compared sa ibang food items nila.

huhu mga sis..pasensya problematic talaga ako sa last kitten I adopted.
Just a background, he was picked up from the side of the road..I ended up adopting him, I'll call him Cat3.
Lets call my existing cats, Cat1 and Cat2. Cat1 and Cat2 get along well. All cats are puspins.
Cat3 is still a kitten but fights with my cats. As in Cat2 GROWLS and hisses at him every single time AND I have never seen that behavior from Cat2. As in fight talaga siya. Noon, Cat3 would suckle on Cat2 pero now it's fighting. The same cat na sabi ko eats my hair, pats my face, bullies and inuuna yung food and keeps it to himself.. pero nalambingan ako kay Cat3 kase clingy siya sa akin and wouldnt leave my side.

Pero Cat3 wrestles talaga with Cat1 and Cat2 na Cat1 would avoid him completely and andami niya bald spots from the fighting (Cat1)

I'm worried na.. I love Cat3 but he's harassing my two cats (That I dont love as much; sina Cat1 and Cat2) Cat1 is my mom's favorite too and since ako ang favorite ni Cat3, she's telling me to discipline Cat3 but I dont know how! Cat3 pulls our decorations down, scratches everything, and he's the only cat who cant be trusted sa living room namin.. help mga sis I dont want to have to decide to abandon him.. but I'm really having thoughts of abandoning him sa side sa road or whatnot..kase ang maldito niya..
Not sure if he's just roughly playing or inaaway niya talaga yung ibang kitten
 Siya kase palagi naguuna and jumps and tackles my other cats..
What to do? I dont want to think of letting go of him but no one else can take care of him like I am (or am i spoiling him?) and I have work so I cant bantay him all the time.. help?

Hi friends, question: i have observed that my pet cat has a little amount of blood on his stool for a few days na. Kagabi pinainom ko 1 ml combantrin. This morning matamlay sya. Di katulad ng ordinaryong araw na sunud ng sunod sakin. Kanina nakahiga lang sya. Normal effect ba ito ng combantrin? Tia!

for anyone who's interested. fixed my issue without letting my cat go. I tie him with a leash nalang talaga to stop him from harassing my other cats
