Seattle / Vancouver border

Hello sisses.. in our Mla-Beijing(layover)-Vancouver-Seattle itinerary come mid May this year, on our return flight home, the flight from Vancouver to Beijing is at 1:50pm.  I would like to know if anyone here knows approximately how long it will take to cross the Seattle to Vancouver border to be safely at Vancouver airport in time for our 1:50pm flight?  Hubby wants to be at the Vancouver airport at 1015am  but that means we have to take the 640am bus    that will bring us to the Seattle/Vancouver border.  If possible only, I don't want having to unnecessarily wake up so early just to be spending most of  the time waiting at the airport as we will be traveling with our 8 year old kiddo.  Or there is no other way of doing this?

The trip takes about 2 1/2 hours without factoring the time spent at the immigration  crossing the border. Di rin kasi ma-predict, minsan mabilis, minsan magtatagal sa haba ng pila ng mga sasakyan. My experience/observation though is during weekends and holidays, que  US o Canada, may traffic build-up because of the shopping that Vancouverites do at the outlet stores in Washington state and all the way down  to Oregon. There is an express lane though for frequent commuters.  Don't know lang if   the Seattle-Vancouver commuter buses  are allowed there but malamang hindi.  Kailangan din kasing i-check ang passports of the passengers.  At may dadaanan pa ata sa Surrey, Richmond and a few other stops? So yeah, parang ok lang yung 6:40 a.m. trip. Better be early than missing your flight.

Seems like the 6:40am bus is alright. I've only been to Seattle and the border once and they can take quite long with checking passports plus other stuff.
