Hi. What do you think of this?  Kasama kasi namin this time pagpunta ng HK yung mga pamangkin ko, 5 and 8 yrs old respectively 1ST time nila to go there...pwede kaya kami magdala ng snacks, or tetra packs lang na pwede lagay sa bag nila? or kahit instant cup noodles para don sa 5yr old..baka di kumain ito e pihikan pa naman kumain?

Yes sis, pwede magdala ng snacks. Sa Disneyland nga, pag may mga biscuits sa bag, di naman sinisita as long as it's for kids talaga. Wag lang sigurong rice :D.

Sa Tim Ho Wan, if pork buns lang talaga yung main reason nyo to go there, might as well take out na lang, mas mabilis. Since mas marami namang mas masarap na dimsum places other than Tim Ho Wan.

Mga sis, lahat ba ng IKEA (kowloon bay, causeway bay at sha tin) ay nagse-serve ng swedish meatballs? Gusto ko sana itry pero most probably sa causeway bay na branch ang punta namin.
Hope someone can answer. TIA!

^Yes sis, lahat meron. Nung last time na kumain kami sa Causeway Bay din kami, pero maliit lang sa Causeway Bay, hindi nga kami nakaupo.

Just returned to SG from our trip to Macau & Hong Kong.

We went to Tim Ho Wan at Olympian City. And no pila. :) So super happy ko. My husband loved everything! Haha and our bill was just  around 120 HKD.

If our opinion mas okay yung Ladies Market kesa sa Temple Street. Though pare parehas din lang benta nila. Hehe

^ it rained nung morning the day we left until mga 11am then maaraw na after.
I suggest if you are lamigin like me to bring tights and something warm (jacket or knitted sweater) just in case. Mas maganda na yung handa kaysa di ka mag enjoy dahil nilalamig ka or something.

Madami din naman benta na jackets and such kaso syempre unnecessary gastos pagnagkataon.

Sisses hime and smoothie, many thanks. lamigin pa naman ako. You're right sis hime, bulky nga lang dalhin ang mga coat e kesa dun pa ko bumili, dagdag gastos. and might as well enjoy the cool weather kasi dito naman sa pinas 34-35 degrees na ang init.  :)

From airport to Yiu Fai guesthouse, ano mas advisable na sakyan namin? We are 4 adults + 1 kid (9 yrs old) + 1 baby (1yr old).  Taxi? Kasya ba kami plus bags? Thanks :)

^Taxis can take up to 5 passengers. Ang baby di kasama sa bilang. Kung magkakasya gamit niyo depende sa size ng luggage niyo.

When we went to HK last time, may kasama kaming 2 kids (3 and 5 yrs old). Nag-bus kami :) Enjoy sila sa bus.

Just got back from HK tonight. Weather was perfect back there. Kinda chilly at night and early morning (around 21-23 C), but really tolerable. We were able to wear shorts when we visited NP360 and Disneyland without freezing/getting cold. Good thing also it did not rain during our 3-day stay. We just did AOS, rode Star Ferry, went to Harbour City, NP360 and enjoyed 2days in Disneyland. We stayed at Disney's Hollywood Hotel. Kids had fun!

Enjoy your trip, sisses!

Ask ko lang sissies kung may alam kayong affordable pero malinis naman na hotel/hostel bandang TST? Bandang TST ang GC right? Kahit ba di kami sa GC mag stay in pwede kami bumili ng activities package nila? Enough na kaya 3 days or 4 days pag hk-macau trip? Na may disneyland at ocean park na kasama? Or do you think 5 days dapat?

Hi girls, baka lang meron kayong ideas on what else to do. My fourth time in HK in June. I've been to Disneyland, Ocean Park, Big buddha in Ngong ping twice, Stanley, Peak, Avenue of stars. Ano pa ba ang magandang puntahan?  Ayoko ng puntahan sana ang disneyland ulit kasi magtotokyo disneyland na kami this year din.  Ok ba pumunta sa Shenzhen. Worth it ba?

Wag na sa Shenzhen sis. Parang Divi lang, lol! Mag-Macau ka na lang.

In HK, try mo sa Chi Lin Nunnery, free entrance lang. Sa Pex, they recommend going to Discovery Bay too. Check our their beach as well, sa Shek O :)

Hello Everyone.

We will be in HK from July 20-24. Kamusta weather kapag ganun na month? Actually 2nd time ko ng pupunta ng HK. My first was October 2010 pa. Hehe.

My other concern is, nagba-back read ako and napansin ko na ang common na hostel na pinupuntahan ngayon is yung Golden Crown. Before kasi we stayed at Taisan Guesthouse as the most recommended dito sa thread. Existing pa ba ngayon yun? Ok pa ba dun? Hehe

Thanks!
