Just got home from my 3days and 2nights HK stay. (NO Macau, DL only)
Sharing my First time first world class experience.
Day 01 (Feb 25,2014)
0730H - arrival at HKiA
Booooooommmm.. Anlaki! Nakaubos kami ng mga 1hr dito kakapapicture. We got Octopus card, loaded with 100$. Kahit na hindi mashado nag Eenglish ang mga tao sa Hk, you'll NEVER get lost. Napakadaming signage and posters. As in!
0930H - bus ride to GC. Took A21 bus. May special area for luggage so no worries. Walang traffic. Just 13 stops and nasa GC ka na. As in. Perfect ang location ng GC to everywhere and everything.
1030H - check in was a breeze. Bought 2 DL tickets for 410$/each. 1pm pa daw check in so iniwan muna namin baggage sa reception, tapos baba and stroll around Nathan Rd muna.
1100H - we ate breakfast at Cafe de coral. Sarap food. Mura pa. Then derecho na kami to go to our first Itinerary.. SNOOPY WORLD! To all first timer sa Hk, please download MTR APP. both apple and android available for free. Super 10/5 ang rank ko dito sa sobrang helpful. May fare, travel time, maps, and first train and last train time. Kahit may bayad itong app, bibilhin ko siguro. Hahaha.
1200H - Snoopy world, free. Daming kids, liit lang.. Pero dahil super favorite ko si Snoopy, i dare not to miss this.
1400H - rode MTR back to GC sana, pero naisip ko na mag Mongkok Ladies night market na agad! Hahaha. Sinuyod ko ang buong stretch nun and I got 21 I Love HK shirts for 210$ only. So.. 10$ lang each. In peso... 59 pesos lang! Woooohoooo.. In fairness, makapal tela nia. Di katulad ng mga I love Tagaytay shirts na napakanipis pero 100pesos huling tawad. Gusto ko sana bumili ng mga USB, 8gb na lalabas 20$ each lang. Ayaw ni H2B, madali daw masira. shirt lang bnili ko. All others makikita mo na sa divi. shirt makikita mo din sa divi pero worth 59pesos? Wala! Hahaha. Kumain din kami dito ng prang pancake na hindi ko alam ang tawag na may cream and peanut butter. 8$ un. Napakasaraaaap. Street food lang sya.
I lost track sa time.. Kakalakad kakalakad, nasa next MTR station na kami, tapos next ulit.. Until we reached GC ulit. Mga 5pm na ata un. Check in sa GC, nasa loob na ng room baggage namin. Maliit pero malinis and malamig. And comfortable. Rest, wash up, and getting ready to out next ITI.. Avenue of the stars!!
1800H - Walkathon ulit to Harbour, pwesto na sa overlooking area, and waited until 8pm.. For the symphony of lights. Ito, di mashado enjoy. :-( super foggy, hindi kita mga ilaw.. Di kita. :-( sayang. Tapos lakad ulit pabalik, we ate at cafe de coral again sa may square. Then walk sa Cameron Rd. until GC ulit.
2200H - sleeping time.
Day 02 (Feb 26,2014)
0630H - woke up to do our first international run! Mapping out GC to around Kowloon park, to Cameron Rd to Avenue of Stars to Promenade then back to Gc - 8km. :-) ansaya. Anlamig. Amazing! Breakfast at McDo.
0900H - back to GC, wash up and off to our whole day ITI - Disneyland!
1030H - rode MTR, then picture much sa entrance pa lang. Its so amazing. And magical. Since we have our tickets na.. We went straight to the entrance. Tapos, ito na.. Yung ticket from GC.. Ang nabigay pala samin, ay CHILD! May nakaslat sa likod na CHILD ticket, please.. Sa lahat ng bibili, check nio muna tickets ninyo. :-( ayun, bili na lang ng bago tapos reimburse na lang. Nagpanic pa ako dito kasi baka di ma reimburse, buong araw ko naiisip tong tickets. :-( pero si H2B naman ay very supportive.
Guys, dont skip the rides.. Super duper saya! Iba ang first world experience!! Di na kami kumain ng lunch ni H2B. Since loaded kami ng McDo breakfast. And may baon akong bread sa katabing bakery dun.. Na super sarap din. Yun ang pantawid gutom namin sa DL. And water na baon. hehe. Swerte kami kasi konti lang tao, so ang mga waiting time ng kada rides, mga 5mins lang. Minsan wala pa. Ohaaaaa. Ansaya. Sagad dun. Lahat ng show pinanood namin. Until mga 7pm, dumadami na tao sa castle, for the fireworks finale.. We waited na lang dun. Took a spot, and super enjoy the show.. Sobrang magical nia.. Napapaluha ako sa saya. :-) after. Un, nag final DL shopping na ako.. Inabot ako ata ng mga 2 oras dito. Hahaha. Hirap mamili, at magcompute. Napakamahal lang.
2200H - finally bidding goodbye to Mickey na..
2230H - next stop. JORDAN. According to CNN, dito daw ang best wonton noodles. Open until midnight. At dahil di pa kami naglunch and dinner.. We tried 2 resto dito. Di sya resto eh. Prang carinderya style. Dalawang magkasunod at magka parehas na mami ang inorder ko. Pra macompare. At pambawi sa lunch and dinner na hindi namin nagawa.
0000H - back to GC. At 24/7 ba ang staff dun? Kasi na reimburse ko ang 2 child tickets na namaling naibigay. They are apologetic naman. And mababait tlaga. Thumbs up. To the nth level ang ranking ko sa kanila.
Day 03 (Feb 27,2014)
0900H - woke up. Sorry naman sa pagod from last night. And chill mode na ito for us.
1000H - breakfast at KFC (kahit mga fast food ang kianinan namin, yung mga chinese meals pa din naman inorder namin) hahaha. Ang sarap ng brewed tea nila dito. Hehe.
1030H - k11 mall to buy my Pandora charms. Sarado pa ang shop. Pangatlo na ako sa pila. Daig pa nito ang pila sa Disneyland. As in. Tapos.. Dito ko nalaman na di sila tumatanggap ng 1000$ kasi madami daw ang fake. So girls, puro 500$ na lang ang ipapalit ninyo. So ayun, mga 1000$ ko, tinabi ko muna., nag squeeze out ako ng mga barya barya pra mabili ko ang mga charms ko. Mas mura ng mga 10% satin, pero pede na. :-)
1130H - Giordano raves! Dito ko nagamit at natanggap ang 1000$. Nakadami din kami ng na shopping dito. hehe. Namili din ako sa grocery ng noodles na pampasalubong.. DOLL instant noodles, 10$ 5pcs so prang 11 pesos each. Ayun, bumili ako ng 5 sets. Ibat ibang flavors. May 13$ 5pcs. Depende sa flavor. Anlaki sa bagahe! Bulky lang! Hahaha. Tapos to SASA naman. Ayun, nabaliw ako sa dami ng nabili kong kung ano ano.. Lahat ng natitira kong $ inubos ko na dito. May octopus cArd naman na pede mag negative pabalik ng airport. hehe.
1300H - check out na. :-) tapos iniwan muna namin ang baggage sa reception, naglunch muna kami sa McDo uli. Pagod na ako maghanap ng kakainan eh. Heheh.
1400H - rode A21 bus to Airport. Sa tapat lang sya ng GC. We amke sure maaga kami kahit na 730pm pa flight. Mahirap na. Anlaki kaya ng airport nila. Hahah.
1500H - airport, ikot ikot muna kasi napaaga nga kami. Antakot ko kasi na mahirapan dun, eh nakalimutan kong VERY efficient pala ang system ng HK. Ayun, check in baggage kami ng 4pm. Tapos, ikot ikot uli.. Wala pang boarding gate, mga 6pm nung na flash yung boarding gate number.
1830H - nasa boarding gate na kami, pero ang Cebu pac, 810 na dumating.. Naka fly ng 9pm dahil sa air traffic, Original sched is 730pm
2300H - back to Phils. :-)
Sorry sa mahabang post. To my fellow GTalkers.. THANKS sa lahat, you made my first out of the country experience very memorable. Prang may cheat and walkthrough dito sa GT eh.
Btw, 5 ang disneyland sa buong mundo. We are off to the next Disneyland.. TOKYO!
