Who are your wedding suppliers? Part 6

Azhyl Gobe yung nakuha ko para mag make-up sakin iba yung sa ento ko.. Hindi talaga sya originally ang kinuha ko, si Rizza Mae Aganap yung nai-book ko na months before the wedding pero less than a month bigla akong sinabihan na hindi na sya makakapagmake-up sakin due to conflict in her schedule.. Nawindang ako bigla, pero in fairness naman sa kanya nag effort na humanap ng ipapalit sa kanya.. Nagbigay sya sakin ng list ng 25 HMUA na kakilala nya at pinacheck nya sakin tapos pili daw ako ng magugustuhan ko tapos sya na bahalang makipag-usap at mag-ayos ng contract on our behalf kasi nagkapirmahan na kami before at nakapag-DP na rin kami sa kanya.. So ang napili namin si Azhyl Gobe kasi magaganda yung samples nya, but the thing is hindi pala professional kausap.. Maganda nga syang magmake-up pero laging late! Late ng 2 1/2 hours sa prenup, late ng 2 hours sa trial make-up at sa wedding day mismo late din ng 3 hours! Tapos biglang nawala for my second look ang iniwan na magmemake-up sakin yung assistant nya.. Kaloka! Sa kanya ko nastress nung araw ng kasal ko.. Sa prenup nagbayad kami ng extension sa photographer kasi late na nakapag start dahil sa kanya, tapos sa wedding day mismo naging mabilisan na din yung picture taking kasi late na ko naayusan.. Hay.. Beware of her!

we have the same HMUA on my wedding day and you're right she's very unprofessional kasi 2 hours late sya sa call time that's why nag-rush kami sa photo ops ni hubby. Since domino effect na sya I was 30mins late sa church at nagalit ang pari. Fortunately natuloy ang wedding ceremony pero wala nang homily, offertory at communion. Hay nakakastress di ba pero I ignore it and enjoyed my wedding. Positive na lang. Buti na lang super ganda ng hair and make up ko or else she's dead hahaha joke.

Hi sis xsugar, Yes we did get some other freebies aside from what was in the package. Nakakuha kami ng mood lights, bottomless drinks for guests (150 pax) because we signed up during their Grand Food Tasting. During discussions with the previous planner (2 kasi sila nagresign yung una), she also waived the fee for the photobooth and keyboard (di namin naituloy [textspeak!] keyboard).

^ hi sis! Magallanes Church was on our top 3 choices for the ceremony. amazing architecture and looks really lovely in photos, especially the altar. if i remember correctly, they only do 2 weddings per day so there's no rush. its also has air conditioning and plenty of parking space.

what made us not choose it is the location - unang punta pa lang namin, naligaw kami agad. we're not very familiar with the area rin kasi. we were worried na kung kami nga naligaw, paano pa kaya ang mga bisita namin. also, there isn't much place to do photo ops outside the church, but you can go elsewhere for that naman. lastly, wala yung "this is it" factor for both h2b and I. i know its mababaw but when we finally chose our church kasi we just knew that it was the one. sorry napahaba kwento lol. hope this helps!

Thanks sis bzbee:) What church did you choose? Yes 2 weddings per day at 9 am or 3 pm. Kanina ko lang nadiscover kung pano papunta, mejo mahirap nga maghanap ng cab if commute. But you're right, kailangan talaga may 'this is it' factor. So we booked them today.

^^ sis marsala2016 our wedding is 10am and reception is at blue leaf mckinley. we also considered a hotel reception pero hindi kakayanin ng budget.

Our wedding will be on Dec.2016.true bilis magbook ng mga brides din.  Puno na din yung 1st date na gusto ko and i pencil booked a different date, then papacancel ko na kasi ayaw ng parents ko na weekday, suddenly sabi ni ms. Sally di padin nagpupunta yung couple na nagreserve sa gusto naming date, so she released the reservation kaya punta agad kami ni fiance kahapon to pay. She said meant to be kami sa church nila:) have you read the guidelines regarding commentator? Dapat ba talaga member of the archdiocesan something.... Or pwede relative?

Sis bzbee, wow morning wedding. Super nice ng SSA talaga. cinonsider din namin blue leaf. Ok din rates and packages. Had i known na matutuloy kami sa magallanes church dapat blue leaf nalang. kasi kala namin don bosco na kami. Pero ok din rates ng dusit. May p/v na kayo? Dito ako nahihirapan.

Sis bzbee, im not from makati but college days and work life makati ako kaya very close to my heart. So sabi ko gusto ko makati bride. ganda din ng don bosco esp. The altar pero i can't stop thinking of magallanes church. Taga makati ka sis? When's your wedding nga pala?

Sa p/v dami ko ng nakuhang rates and packages and have been reading through the forums di padin kami makadecide. Nakakapagod din haha. Pati si fiance naooverwhelm sa choices.  I'll look into your suggestions:) tsaka we're hoping din na makakita kami sa bridal fair this may at picc.

yes Ms. Sally told us about the commentator part. It has to be someone who is a professional lecturer.

SSA is really beautiful and honestly mas madami slots there especially for parishoners and H2B is a parishoner. They were holding a slot for us too. But ayaw talaga ng parents ko for me to get married in the same church again parang its just weird daw hahah and I agree!!

Hi sis chili1113. Yes meant to be talaga kaya sobrang happy namin nung sinabi na di pa nagbayad the first couple who reserved. Shocks, do you have a commentator na or may marerecommend sila? I failed to ask about that. Kala ko pwede relatives. Even for readers ba?

Tama sis different church naman para ibang feel and experience din for your 2nd wedding.

sis if ever I plan to just get whoever commentator magallanes has, meron sila recommended ata. =) BTW when is your Pre-cana seminar baka same schedule tayo =) I am scheduled this november.

Sis chili1113, ayun buti they have recommended commentators kasi i don't know one unless may alam ang parents namin. Sa magallanes church nalang din ako kukuha.

For the pre-cana we don't have a schedule yet. Since matagal pa daw next year nalang. Check daw ulit namin with ms.sally. where's your reception sis?
