Palacio de Maynila

Hi!

I need your inputs and ideas here. I already booked our venue which is Palacio de Maynila, my problem is since it is huge and blank space, i don't know how to decorate it. I don't want to get a stylist na sana because we are on a budget. We got K by Cunanan as our caterer already. Our guests are more of less 150.

For the Palacio brides, can you share to me your Lights & Sounds supplier?

Sissies, any ideas on how to style this place

Im eyeing Palacio de Maynila as my reception. So far ano ang feedback mo sa kanila?

^ nag-occular kami last july ata...
okay naman ang Palacio, I think much better sya kung gabi and may lights and sounds na. Umaga kasi kami nagpunta and walang event.. so bare yung loob. yung floating na decor nila sa ceiling is permanent. yung walls nila are all covered with white tela, so ang magkukulay dun is yung lighting effect.

CR is just beside the function room (there's only one room which is really big). Pink and theme ng CR ng girls, blue ata for boys? hehe.

mas okay sana kung renovate pa nila yung lugar and imodernize pa ng konti.

Thanks sis! Nakausap na namin sila and sabi nila if KbyCunanan ang catering namin (accredited caterer nila), wala daw syang package. Bale venue rental rate PLUS yung quotation ng K by cunanan sayo. Medyo pricey sya. Worth it kaya mga sis?

^ sis may package ata sila with K na bigay sakin, kaya lang pricey nga yung package compared with other caterers.

ok naman daw si K sis eh, sya rin kinuha namin, kaya lang sa blue leaf kami. sa march pa kasi wedding ko so hindi pako makapag bigay ng overall kay K, pero ayon sa ibang reviews dito, okay daw sila, lalo na sa styling.

Happy naman with our venue.  Initially, I thought di napapalitan yung drapes pero nagpapalit daw sila every quarter ata, so nung wedding namin, malinis yung drapes and parang dinagdagan yung mga hanging crystals. Though the venue is really big talaga for our 150 guests. I asked KbyC na lang to have 8 pax per table para somehow ma-fill yung big space.

Good idea yun sis ah. Do you mind sis kung ask ko how much yung binayaran mo total for KbyC and sa Palacio? Nakausap ko si Ms Cobe ng Palacio and sabi nya di naman daw problema yung 6 hours ingress ng kbyc. Nakalagay kasi sa website ng Palacio na 3 hours ingress lang. Im not sure if she meant na wala ng bayad kung mag exceed pa doon.

Ano yung mga freebies/discount na nakuha mo sa Palacio?

^ we got Package 2 of KbyC priced at 970 per head. Then for Palacio, venue rental is 110k vat exclusive.

Yes, wala problem sa ingress and egress sa Palacio. Then sa freebies, we had 1 night stay sa Diamond (or Manila Hotel), wide screen and projector din.

Mga sis, may I ask if may option sila or other venue yun mas maliit or ito lang talaga? Sa photos kasi mukhang malaki talaga pero parang ok talaga siya eh. Parang gusto ko siya as wedding venue kaso pricey yun nasa site nila. Though I already asked for a detailed quote na.
