The NBI’s version of Vhong Navarro’s mauling

So much public attention is focused on the mauling of actor-comedian and TV host Vhong Navarro, which apparently stemmed from a love triangle.
 
It’s a “he said, she said” story, with Navarro accusing businessman Cedric Lee and his companions of mauling him, and commercial model Deniece Cornejo accusing Navarro of rape.
 
Although I’m not too keen on delving into other people’s love life, I asked the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) what really happened since accusations and counter-accusations have become hot news.
 
The NBI has entered into the fray and investigated the incident.
 
Here’s what I gathered from an NBI source:
 
Deniece invited Vhong to her unit at Forbeswood Heights in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, since they have been friends for two years.
 
Although Navarro claimed that no sexual intercourse happened between him and Cornejo on his first visit, there was heavy petting, the likes of the “Bill Clinton-Monica Lewinski” affair, according to my NBI source.
 
Deniece’s text message to Vhong after that visit was very telling: “Bad boy ka! Bad boy ka! (You’re a bad boy!)”
 
And here’s Vhong’s reply to Deniece, according to the NBI source: “I will make it up to you next time.”
 
What Deniece and—of course, Vhong— did not know is that the woman’s unit was full of hidden cameras and so everything was caught on closed circuit television (CCTV).
 
Lee, who owns the high-class condominium unit, had installed all the hidden cameras.
 
Lee is a multimillionaire Filipino-Chinese businessman who has connections in high places.
 
He is a business partner of Tyrone Ong, now in detention on a charge of plunder for the alleged “ghost” repairs of B-150 armored vehicles of the Philippine National Police (PNP).
 
Ong is an adopted member of the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) Class 1976 whose members include former PNP chief Jesus Versoza and retired police generals Magtanggol Gatdula and Jefferson Soriano.
 
Deniece, according to my NBI source, is Lee’s girlfriend.
 
Cedric apparently confronted his girlfriend Deniece about the video and told her to invite the actor-TV host to the unit again.
 
NBI investigators theorize that Cedric threatened to drive Deniece out of the unit and withdraw financial support if she didn’t do what he ordered her.
 
“That’s why, Mon, Vhong brought with him a bottle of white wine and some food because he wanted to make ‘amends’ with Deniece for his ‘shortcomings’ the first time,” said the NBI insider.
 
No wonder Deniece didn’t sound so eager to have lover boy Vhong visit her, if we are to believe the actor’s account.
 
The woman apparently knew Cedric and his bodyguards were waiting for him.
 
The rest is history.

Sis girltalker2... naku sis, kung sya nagsulat ng statement talaga, as in that's her own words lahat ha.. medyo malayo sa pinakita nyang english proficiency sa IG and FB accounts nya eh.  But well, trivial naman yung whether or not magaling sya sa English.     Her sworn statement though, will not be a trivial aspect... court proceedings will base the story on her sinumpaang salaysay eh. So it has to be well thought out, and well-written. Gusto ko tuloy mabasa yung buo. Hehe. Pero yes, sa interview, you can see na she was...let's just say 'prepared'.

Ang galing pa rin nya! Kahit prepared sya grabe ang hirap kaya mag-aral ng grammar lalo na at the age of 22 ka na nagsimula.



Anyways, kung backer lang ang pag-uusapan, I believe matatag ang kapit ni CL. Partner nya sa business some PNP officials. Kaso sa ABS ko napanood kaya I guess hindi reliable, noh?

Sinusubaybayan ko 'tong issue na 'to quietly. Keber na sa mga nagsasabing saturated na ng VN everywhere. Haha!

Napanood ko 'yung live presscon with NBI sa ANC yesterday. I think sindikato etong sila CL and DC. Ginamit nila si DC para i-flirt si VN. Kumbaga, hindi nila 'to ginawa dahil nag-cheat lang si DC.

1. 'Yung sa elevator. May nagtanong sa NBI why papunta sa right 'yung ibang guys while sila VN sa left nagpunta (2nd floor). So parang iniisip nila na baka nag-rent pa ng separate unit sa same floor sila.

2. 9th day pa lang daw naoccupy ni DC '[textspeak!] condo noong Jan 22. I guess talagang setup na 'yun from the very start pa lang. Nung nagcommunicate sila ulit.

3. Pumasok na names nila Jake Cuenca and JLC (read sa Fashion Pulis). I guess mga former victims sila din nila CL. Nanahimik na lang.

Well, a very big lesson learned for VN dahil kung sanay na siya na gawin 'yan (even other celebrities or even common people like us) eh hindi sa lahat ng oras may lusot siya, na magagawa niya 'yang cheating ng walang sabit. Malas niya dahil iba pala ang motibo ng nangflirt sa kanya. Pero nakakaawa pa din siya sobra especially nabasa ko 'yung ginawa sa private part niya. Sa tingin ko mas mabigat pa 'yun at masakit compared sa bruises niya sa face. Sana maging maayos and fair 'tong investigation hanggang sa trial sa kanila, knowing the system dito sa Pinas. Tsk.

Anyway, mahaba-habang healing process ang mangyayari sa mga bugbog ni Vhong. I can only imagine gaano kasakit 'yun. Dinaig pa niya si Manny Pacquiao sa tindi ng tinamo niyang bugbog. At malamang hindi na talaga siya magloloko ulit. Lesson learned the hard way.

swiTsuplada: napansin ko din yan, usually Gabriela will be at the forefront, beside the victim pag ganitong kaso. Hindi ko nilalahat ha, pero usually. But they're not in this particular, very popular case. I wonder why.

There are a few differences from what he said originally in his interview, like yung pagpapakilala ni Cedric. He also didn't elaborate on what was done to his privates (I do not want to sound biased, pero the emission of this part I think I would understand, lalo na kung totoo yun stories of what was done to his privates) Pero what struck me was Cedric actually told him "Itanong mo kay Vina kung sino ako at kung anong ginagawa ko. Sabihin mo kay Vina kung anong ginawa ko sa'yo na binugbog kita, na kinunan kita ng video....pero wag mo sasabihin kay Vina na ako ang nag-utos sayo para itanong ang mga ito ha."

The time he mentioned was also not exactly the same as is shown in the CCTV footage, but then again we cannot expect all clocks or watches to be synchronized. They used 'humigit kumulang' naman, so I guess from the legal point of view, that covers it, kasi approximate na oras naman nga binigay nila.

may karaniwang tao kasi sis na hindi pangkaraniwan ang looks, na pwedeng balingan ng attention ng mga girls na 'taken' na. May ganyang experience kasi na nangyari sa amin before, siya ang nilapitan ng girl na hindi niya alam, may nagsusustento pala. Nagbigti na lang ang guy sa takot. Sayang lahi.
