I tried to inquire in Kubiertos and they said their menu online is updated.
we are targeting 100 pax for my daughter's 7th birthday and the owner said if the total amount reaches at a minimum of P20,000, I could have their package which includes the  decorations, tarp, shower balloons etc.  Not bad naman kasi mas madaming visitors pag children's party. I am looking for a venue here in south para okay na.

hi sis! I got kubiertos for my son's first bday party last March. Ok naman sya! super ganda ng decorations kasi nagdagdag sya ng free balloons... masarap din ang food... at higit sa lahat.. di sya late.. hehe ang aga din nilang nag set up!

Kubiertos catered my son's baptism last Aug 2 and ok naman sila.  They were there early to set up.  Masarap naman ang food sabi ng mga bisita (and some of them maarte sa food so it means masarap talaga).  I'm not sure about the decors kasi I traded the decors for extra food buffer dahil I hired a separate stylist.  Parang hindi lang ako nagandahan dun sa stuffed toy na center piece nila sa buffet, other than that ok sila, great value for money.

hoping to read more feedbacks regarding this caterer... naka book na kami sa kanila for aug23.. sis Nhetskii ganito ba sila noong nagpa book ka sa kanila? di talaga sila nagte text para i update ka or tanungin ka manlang ng additional requests pa.. saka yung fb page nila di updated.. leary talaga kami ni hubby sa mga internet offers and i happen to read feedbacks about kubiertos which made us get them... how was your experience with them? thanks,

I am also interested to get them sana kaso natatakot talaga ako sa mga nega feedback about them...i'm thinking kasi if i'll risk it or stick to my old and reliable caterer, queensland.  I want to try something new naman kasi sana...

sis... actually ganyan ang naging problem ko sa kanya... di sya nag tetext... may time na nagtext sya na paki deposit na daw ang yung payment ko eh di natakot ako kasi nakapag bayad na ko... text agad ako. sabi nya sorry mam para sa isang client na wrong send lang. tapos sabi ko, pinakaba mo naman ako. Di naman sya nag reply. So super pray talaga ko na sana di ako nagkamali ng pagpili sa kanila...
May naka chat ako sis din natin sa GT. Una syang nagpa book sakin... sya muna yung binanatayan ko kung ano ang feedback nya kasi kung di maganda, magca cancel na ko kahit nakapag deposit na ko. I turned out na ok naman ang feedback.

Anyway, here's the whole experience....

Nagkita kami ni Ms. Imelda sa MOA... suppososed to be sa shang dito sa mandaluyong... OK naman sya but since nabanggit nya na may meeting din sya in the afternoon sa MOA, sabi ni Hubby, dun na lang din sya i meet kasi kawawa naman sya na magbyahe pa ng malayo kaya kami na lang ang magbyahe... 1pm ang usapan for the food tasting .. dumating sya 1 hour late... turn off na si hubby...

Pag dating nya, i was expecting na may kasama kasi maraming dala for the food tasting... ang dala 3 maliit na plastic bowl ba yun na may cover -- (as in super konti lang) na hindi na nya hinintay na kainin namin, we proceed on talking about the contract... kailan, saan, ilan, anong package... la pa yatang 15 mins tapos na... (or di lang kasi ako matanong) my hubby keeps on saying, wag po sana kayong ma le-late.... tapos iniwan na nya kami at iniwan ang food...

after a week nag deposit na ko sa kanya... (wala na kasi akong mapiling iba dahil talagang sya lang ang pasok sa budget... mura kasi talaga, not to mention ang daming freebies....)

and then nangyari na nga yung wrong send na text.  Sa sobrang kaba ni hubby... sabi nya pupuntahan nya yung office sa pque... para na din kunin yung OR ng dineposit sa kanya. Tinext ko sya... 3 days before ng date... then a day before...(both nag confirm sya) pag dating ni hubby.. wala sya, walang bilin.... katulong lang ang nandun.... yung office... house daw. Pero nakuha nya yung OR... parang yung katulong ang nagsulat dahil nag dictate na lang si Imelda thru phone.

And then after that, i keep texting Imelda kung saan sya may event at pupuntahan namin sya para makita ko set up nya... sumasagot sya kulang kulang... like yes next weekend sa ortigas... when i ask what time at saan mismo.. di na sya sasagot.. then nag text ako papadagdag ako (just to make sure na sasagot sya...) sasagot lang sya about sa pagpapadagdag pero yung ibang questions ko na saan nga ang event nya... di nya sinasagot... I wanted to call her and shout at her! ANO BA! BOGUS KA BA? BAKIT DI PWEDENG MAKITA ANG EVENT MO! KAINIS NA! hahaha but i never did ... kasi ako din ang talo...! baka gantihan din ako in the end.. nasa kanya pa din ang 50% dep ko.

Sa sobrang kaba, we were thinking na i cancel na lang... kaya lang baka i bid goodbye na namin ang deposit... which is malaki din dahil 80 pax ang reservation plus 25 kids. At the same time... sobrang mag sho shoot up na sa budget dahil nga walang kasi mura si kubiertos.

Buti na nga lang may naka chat ako na sis natin. May ahead ang booking nya kaya nung naging maganda naman ang feedback... nag decide na ko na wag ipa cancel... pero mega dasal ako.. believe me mga sis... sleepless nights talaga hahaha! i was also thinking na of Plan B.. anong gagawin if di dumating ang catering...hala! i will ask my friends and relatives na may sasakyan na pumunta sa jollibee at mc do to buy food... eh saan naman sila kakain...? uupo sa floor?!  hahaha! kakaloka talaga! So i rely on my prayers... faith! faith! faith! nag novena talaga ako... and were praying the rosary every day, offering talaga sa masayang bday celebration (lalo na sa supplier na yan!)

A week before ng event, nag text ako sa kanya sumagot naman sya... Positive naman lahat ang reply. 2 days before the event, text ulit to remind her... nag rereply naman...! and then a day before... text ulit to remind her about the event... date and time... pati package yata na i text ko na din.. haha...

Here comes the event...

Dumating ang nag se set up at around 10am (3:30 ang event) super aga ha! Tumawag pa sila sa cellphone to inform me na nandun na sila sa venue pero syempre di pa pinayagan dahil sobrang aga... after 30 mins naman pinayagan na sila.. so ok na.. tumawag ulit sila to inform me na paakyat na sila sa elevator para mag set up... (it was MC who called me... waiter din sya) so all through out the event si MC ang tinatawag ko if i need something... Nasulit naman ang lahat ng kaba ko.. in fairness... Hindi dumating si Imelda pero ok naman for me kasi wala namang naging problema... Mabilis kumilos ang mga waiter at mabait... Kinulit ko pa sila tungkol sa palipat lipat na buffet table since i requested for an extra table for the candy buffet..... At nag provide din ng extra jars at lalagyan si Imelda kahit di ako nag request... nagandahan ako sa set up kasi maganda pala yung safari theme... ang daming balloons! tama nga lang si sis nating isa na yung centerpiece na stuffed toys parang di ganong kagandahan... pero sa picture ... maganda tingnan.. hehe...

I asked the guests kung kamusta yung food.. lahat naman sila nasarapan. Tinanong ko din kung di naman nabitin kasi baka konti ang serving.. di naman daw... Nag shoot up ang guests ko.. natakot talaga ako kasi 10% lang ang buffer (although sabi ni Imelda dadagdagan daw nya) nagulat ako at nagkasya at may natira pa...! (bring plastic na nga lang mga sis para just in case may left over maiuuwi nyo.. kasi that time wala daw silang dala... good thing yung kumare ko nag dala talaga sya ng plastic)

So ayun... sobrang haba noh?! pasensya na.. just wanted to share the experience...a fter the event, nag text ako kay imelda to thank her.....

I had a good deal with ms. Imelda... I hope maging pareho yung feeling ko sa event itself.  She's easy to deal with and very accomodating.

Attended a birthday party yesterday, Kubiertos ang caterer. So so lang yung food. Nakain ko naman, but nothing really special.

I stumbled upon this thread about your reviews on Kubiertos Catering and I must say, I've been going back and forth on whether to book them as my caterer. You see, my son will be celebrating his 7th birthday this December and I'd like everything to be perfect for him (he's been dreaming about his 7th birthday since he was five).

As I went through the comments, there were those who say that their end of the bargain were met and more, a lot raving about how great their food was. Still, there were many of you who complained of lousy service and worse, their tardiness.

I'm stumped.

Seriously, I am. My biggest concern about them would be if they came in late. My son's birthday is in December and we all know how heavy and unpredictable the traffic is during the Christmas season. Plus, the venue of the party is in Quezon City. They are from the South. It's actually praying for disaster.

Still, I'd really like to get them because their rates are really reasonable and quite budget-friendly but I'm having second thoughts because I don't want to be on edge until my son's birthday party hoping and praying that my caterer would pull through, which shouldn't be the case since providing the best service should be a given for any business? correct?

Hoping for feedback on recent events that they've done. I'd like to know if they have mended their ways.

I am planning to get their service pansin ko lang kasi medyo baduy ang setup. maybe for my preference kasi masyado colorful na parang pang fiesta, base dun sa site pictures ha, sana may makapagshare ng pictures ng setup ng kubiertos

i am also considering kubiertos for my daughter's birthday. Saw their setup on my brother's event and maganda talaga.  Plus included na yung balloons and may mga free jars pa for the candy buffet setup, you just have to bring your own candies.  And mura talaga.  Pero turn off talaga ako sa food nila.  Nothing special, sorry to say pero hindi ako nasarapan plus super konti ng servings.  I saw one guest who didnt even finished her plate, as in madami pa.  I'd rather drop all the nice to have & freebies kung yun food naman yung masasacrifice.  In comparison to queensland, malayo yung lasa & sa dami ng servings. hope this helps.

We got Kubiertos for our daughter's baptism last June. Their packages are very affordable and Miss Imelda is easy to deal with. I went to their house in BF to discuss our food choices (you can mix and match dishes), table set-up, table centerpieces, balloon colors and other freebies. I think if your requests are reasonable enough, papayag siya to give naman.

On the actual day, they arrived early around 12:30 ata, our event time was 3pm. The table set-up and centerpiece were as per discussed except walang tea lamps. Our guests love the food, I saw some guests going for seconds. We booked for 60 pax but I think our guests were around 75-80 ata kasi may mga kids and they also had their own plate. Good thing sakto lang ang food and may konting leftovers pero d na namin kinuha, my husband and I never got the chance to eat na din dahil sobrang busy entertaining.

Over-all, Kubiertos delivered well. And I am thankful that the guests loved the food considering we never went for the food tasting.

I was supposed to get kubiertos kaso yung venue ay hindi sila accredited. I have to pay 4k pa.  mukhang sulit pa naman kubiertos kasi may setup pa na balloons. Sa queensland wala man lang freebies to think nagincrease sila ng price ngayon

We also took Kubiertos on our daughter's 7th birthday.  At first, they are soo accommodating, let us tasted one of their specialty, promised us to be on time plus the freebies. We paid them in full na rin during our first meeting. 

On the event proper, the only one on time was the decoration set-up.  At first they said that the food will be 2 hrs after the decoration set-up.  To our surprise, dumating na ang mga visitors namin and wala pa yung food to think na na-late visitors namin due to traffic, etc. Even the tarpaulin was not yet been set-up while the visitors are there already.  So yung mga decoration staff was super tunganga talaga. when the tarpaulin arrived, OMG mali pa yung picture na nadala nila... as in ibang bata!! So bumalik na naman sila to the fact na super late na sila. 

I was also expecting that our party will turn out better but because of their performance, nakaka-disappoint.  I didn't get back to them anymore nor thank them because of what happened.

I had Kubiertos on my daughter's Baptism...The food tasting and meeting went well...
But on the actual event, tapos na yung baptism and all of my guest already arrived - pero wala pang FOOD! LATE YUNG FOOD! 
We called the owner and she said na lumampas daw! Naka-Taxi lang daw kase yung nagdala ng Food kase nasira daw yung truck nila! Dumating yung food after 45 minutes. We really felt ashamed with our guest...
The taste of their Food is good. But it doesn't justify being LATE!  Dapat may buffer lagi sa oras in this kind of event. Dapat i-anticipate nila mga accidents or yung mga nasisiraan ng car para hindi sila LATE. Marami na akong nababasang reviews about them being late sa events.

A relative had a very bad experience as well with them. Pero what drove me to reply on your post was same circumstances/excuses by them. This should not happen again, kawawa naman mga taong nag save and plan ahead to have a decent party only to be victimized by them.

So to everyone whose having second thoughts on getting them due to any of your reasons (budget and convenience) just to share, please consider other caterers but not them. Unless you're all willing to take the risks.

Just to share, I did not know who recommended them to my Tita, but they had Kubiertos for the 75th birthday of Ahma. Party was supposed to start at 4pm. They came only about 3pm, in a taxi. Kasi nasira daw yung truck nila (excuse ke supermommy07). Food was delivered via taxi again, at 330.
They finished setting up mga 4 na, guests were already at the venue at 330PM. And we had to divert them to queue sa photobooth while they finish setting up.

Que horror ang ginawa ng Kubiertos. Imagine its a 75th birthday. Food lang dumating. Wala yung set up as per contract, no tarp, flowers as centerpiece, even the buffet set up was bare- table skirtings lang. Linens are dirty, and the dinnerwares- plates and cutlery madudumi yung tipong minadali hugasan for another event. 3 waiters for 100 guests. Kakakaloka.
Worst of all, in middle of eating, napansin ng tita ko na kulang ng isang dish. They had lechon so di namin napansin kulang pala ng pork dish. So yun halos patapos na eating time when they asked the headwaiter. And dun palang sinabi na nakalimutan.

The party ended fine. Since most are elders, they asked if I can speak with Imelda, kasi medyo na high blood silang lahat how horrible the catering went. I told her off talaga, that this is just unacceptable.
They paid 44K in total, she returned 39K of what they paid, but it was only about 5 days after the event and take note : Installment ito, not cash right away. So settled na binayaran lang daw namin [textspeak!] food na naserve on the event.

It was horrible, that I still cringe every time I think about it.
