I think di naman interested si Ian sa role.  Di yata nag-audition for it.  Ang alam ko most of the actors preferred by fans weren't even interested in auditioning.  Siguro nagalangan din sila since very controversial nga naman yung role and might affect their careers.  Plus E.L. James did mentioned in an intereview that she was specifically looking for relatively unknown actor and actress for the lead, siguro yung hindi pa widely identified with another role.

But yun nga medyo nakulangan din ako kay Jamie pag dating sa trailer.  Hopefully okay naman the entire movie.

parang expressionless kasi palagi si JD sa trailer eh (reminds me of richard gutierrez kunot-noo style ng acting). walang appeal or intensity sa looks.

dakota is okay for me as ana.

Ok na sakin si Dakota as Anastasia. Kasi simple lang naman si Ana and si Dakota looks simple naman so ok lang.

Kay CG naman mejo kulang nga si Jamie. Sa photos ok sana si Jamie eh pero nung sa trailer parang may kulang talaga haha. Mas muscular pa dapat kay Jamie eh. Mas okay si Matt Bomer or Ian S nga.

@krabbypatty, same observation.. mas bet ko si Matt kesa kay Ian. mas intimidating and corporate looking for me si Matt compared to Ian.. kaya lang hindi naman sila pwede kasi parehas silang maliit hehe. CG is 6 footer eh.

^haha ako sa phone ko lang nagbabasa noon. natapos ko na lahat nung niregaluhan ako ni hubs ng books for christmas 2 yrs ago lol. sabi ko sa kanya, eh tapos ko na toh eh! hahaha
nagbasa pa rin naman ako, pero madalas i skipped the sexy parts na. love ko lang how thoughtful, caring and dominant si CG lol.. bet mo rin si matt? ako bet na bet ko rin hahaha.. care ko kung gay siya! lol.. i really hope, jamie won't disappoint us...

i might actually watch this. i never read the book but for some reason, i always thought eric from true blood would've been perfect. or charlie hunnam. to me, he would've been great. he's a more seasoned actor na than jamie whats-his-face, i believe and to me, he's much sexier. more burly. more manly. like a man's man.  so to me, that's what happens when producers pander to fans. the casting people knew better. they should've said, f*ck you fans, we will give you an actor and you will love him.

but charlie left, right? in a way, good for him. i don't think he really wants this movie in his resume.
