Wedding Reception near Nuestra Senora de Gracia in Makati

hello!

Im quite frustrated na coz ive been hunting for reception for my wedding this coming May 2014 na..  may mga list na ko ng venues pero may mga pros and cons tlaga.. need your objective opinion please..

1. Makati Parks and Garden - hindi sila available the entire year for renovation (according to the office girl in City Hall)
2. Endramada - the place is okay, good for 200 pax, mura lang P9k, sa mandaluyong.. problem is, mdaming corkages, mahirap hanapin ang place, and may sarili silang lights and sounds which is P5,5k.. ganun din,, eh di might as well sa iba na lang.. 
3. City Garden Hotel Makati - I find it masikip eh.. and we're looking for a venue na may provision for full band set up..

sorry i'm really frustrated na.. help please..

Same feeling here. Gusto ko na nga pa-reschedule ang kasal kasi hirap na hirap na rin ako sa reception venue na malapit sa NSDG. Ikakasal din ako May 2014. same sa iyo.

try mo sis sa forbes park club house, blue leaf mckinley (a little bit far pero puwede na din), Giles Hotel, yung reception hall sa Sanctuario San Antonio Mckinley, The Filipinas Heritage Library along Makati Ave.

yung mga naging clients kasi namin dyan kadalasan yung reception nila.

Hello friends!

Just wanna share.
Last saturday, nag ikot kami ni h2b sa buong makati ave. Okay naman ang result. Nakapagtrim down kami ng choices. Napuntahan pala namin:

1. Berjaya Hotel - Okay sana. Mahaba ang function room. pahaba kasi siya. madami naman maccomodate. like sa amin, 100 guest e kasya naman. Yung room na free, malaki. may sala na. So magandang gamitin kapag mag aayos na si bride. Yun lang, dahil ito ay Malaysian hotel (Berjaya daw means success), e medyo yung lobby is may scent na di pang pinoy. basta. ayaw ko naman maquote. basta yun na yun. Price affordable naman

2. Best Western Oxford Suites - kasama sa amenities is bridal car. Price is affordable. Customer service is good. However, yung function room, sabi ng kausap namin is kasya daw 150 pero kasi parang hindi. so medyo by face value, masikip siya. maganda pala lobby nung hotel at accomodating naman yung nagtour sa amin.

3. City Garden Hotel - for my H2B, this was part of our top choices. Their customer service is very nice, yung sales / marketing coordinator, napakahusay mag explain, with pics, alam niya sinasabi niya, super accomodating. yun ang nakakuha ng attention namin. Nagkataon lang kasi na 2nd priority na kami sa functions rooms nila. So we have to wait or we need to decide agad din if we will push though with them but no guarrantee na mag give way yung nauna. Sayang!

4. Makati Palace Hotel - last stop and included in one of our top choices. Malapit siya super sa red light district. pero ayos lang kasi may daan naman na di agad red light district ang bubungad. Customer service - good. Maayos kausap yung sales coordinator. We saw the function room and elegante siya tingnan. laki ng mga ilaw at mukhang kapag naayusan e gaganda siya. Food, wala pa kami sa part na yun. sa price, affordable. 10K reservation fee. pero di pa kami nagpareserve. amenities na kasama, okay na din.

5. St. Giles - nalungkot kami. kasi we waited sa lobby, tapos kinuha lang name namin. papadala na lang daw sa email ang inclusions etc. yun na. tapos na.

Halos lahat naman ng napuntahan namin e pare parehas ang amenities offered. Di na lugi. Affordable din. Di ako marunong gumawa ng review hehe. lahat naman ito personal opinion lang. so, my take away is, we really need to visit the place, kasi iba siya sa nakikita lang sa internet. yung prices you can also compare kung nagtaas na ba or di pa updated ang nasa website.

Thanks so much sissy! It'll be a big help for us. Naku tight din ang budget name kaya nga we're looking for clubhouse and not considering hotels pero since nabasa ko reviews mo na affordable yung napuntahan niyo na excite ako kasi hirap na ako kumuha kahit December pa yung event namen.

I called Legend Villas today kasu not available na din sa date namen. 

Also, sana kung meron din kayong alam na venue itself lang kasi may gusto ako kunin na caterer eh. Thanks so much!!!!

When we were planning on booking Nuestra Señora de Gracia we looked at Top of the Citi in Makati.

Yun nga lang, you'll have to get your food from them. But if it's for a late afternoon reception (sunset), I think the place would have been nice.

120K for 100 pax (4 main course na siya)
included na rin yung one night accomodation and mga ginagamit sa reception like sound system at LCD...ganun.

95K para sa 100 person na 3 main course pero same inclusions
80K para naman sa 100 pax na 2 main course same inclusions...

Good pm mga sis! i'm back... malapit na ang wedding namen. Oks na ang reception sana... nakapag down na kame sa Renaissance Tower 1000 yung function room sa 7th floor Ortigas Pasig.

Ang problema.. 7pm start ang wedding ko... ang nakalagay sa knaila 7pm =11pm lang yung function room. bali less than 2 hours lang namen magagamit yung room since baka 9pm na dating namen nun dahil traffic for sure dahil December. Tried begging them to move it kahit 8-12 pero ayaw nila...

Nakagawa na kame ng invites kaya namomorblema kame ngayon.. pero maghahanap sana ako ng reception alone kasi may caterer na kame near Nuestra Senora de Gracia Parish. plese baka may alam kayo. Thank you!

Our reception is in Casa Real Event place Taguig Near C5.  I know its kindly far from Nuestra but its the most affordable. But this is good for Small wedding like ours about 100 - 150pax.

Since Its new (Open last Oct 2013), wala silang accredited suppliers  at no Corkage.
 
2014 rate: 15K
deposit (refundable) : 18K for non-resident of DMCI projects. 15K for unit owner.
Some minimal fees for electricity and personnel (security and floor manager).

Sure sis :-) but our Wedding will be on March pa. I will let you know. So far accommodating naman yung personel dun. May office na rin sila dun sa tabi ng Casa Real for inquiries.
