Is the pork bun like asado in soft bread?

^^ mabilis na nga ang pila! Di na blockbuster like a month ago

^ di ko ma-describe yun roll na gamit, sis. Parang di sya ka-texture ng soft roll. Di din naman parang baked siopao. Soft, chewy and then crusty on the outside sya. Haha im doing a bad job describing it.

Sept 15 daw mag-open yung sa Glorietta. exciting!!!! pero grabe ha, dapat naman na-maintain ang quality. hindi excuse yun na porke bumalik na sa HK yung ilang chefs kaya di ganun ka-ok yung food. ang purpose nga nila was to train the chefs who will be running the restaurant.

Ok kasi I was able to try one in King Bee and it's really good! So naisip ko gaya siya sa Tim Ho Wan. Still haven't braved the lines in Megamall hehe

Nothing stellar. I only liked the bun of the pork bun. The other stuff we ordered were just okay. I'll go back if I'm in the mood for dimsum. But I'd much rather go for Red Lantern's PHP800+ dimsum all-you-can. If only hindi ganun kalayo Solaire from where I live.

^ sis, meron din yung Cantonese brunch buffet sa Passion sa RW. Masarap ang dimsum nila, esp the hakaw and yung custard pao.

Back to topic, we finally tried Tim Ho Wan sa Megamall last weekend. Akala namin wala na masyado pila pero blockbuster pa din pala. Then i realized, it was a payday weekend so baka factor din. Pinauna ko si hubby para pumila. Pang-20 yata sya. Di ka din nila isi-seat pag di pa kumpleto mga kasama so hubby had to let some people go ahead kasi wala pa kami. Pagdating namin, we just informed the staff then we were given a table na.

As expected, i liked the pork buns pa din. Hubby liked the glutinous rice. The rest ng order namin were so-so lang (congee, spareribs with rice, beef ball, siomai, yung egg na parang brown puto, etc), tipong di mo na kelangan pilahan, kain ka na lang sa ibang resto. We also had pork buns for takeaway and I am weird in the sense that i like the pork buns better when it's not super-hot, hehe.. Kahit sa HK, we'd usually order for takeaway then i'd eat it an hour or two after na.

Paglabas namin, grabe pa din ang pila. To think na past 1pm na yun. Halos doble pa ang dami ng tao sa pila compared sa nung mga 12nn.

I might not be going back anytime soon. Palipasin ko na muna ang novelty, ayoko na yung pipila pa ng mahaba. I wish they have a takeout counter para di na kelangan pumila with the diners if for takeout lang. Hassle e.
