Nasa 7th year na kami ng marriage ngayon and so far wala pa naman nung sinasabi nilang 7-year itch :D I'm still very attracted to my husband (and I think sya rin sakin, hehe). I can say na happy kami sa isa't-isa.

We've been together since high school mag bf-gf for 5 years until I got knocked up nung college kami hehe. Subsequently, we got married when we're 20. First few years hindi kami naghoneymoon phase-- we've had lots of differences and misunderstandings. I was also extremely jealous and insecure while pregnant with our firstborn. We were both going to school pa while raising a child kaya wala talaga kaming quality time gaano.

Nung ipinanganak ang 2nd child namin on our 3rd yr of marriage, we've moved on sa issues sa isa't isa and wala nang major away ever since.

2 years married na kami ni hubby. and we are expecting our little one in the next 4 months. :)
on our first year, super happy kami ni hubs. travel na walang humpay ang hobby namin (esp pag malaki ang ipon) ;D. we really enjoy being together. sobrang bait nya, walang bisyo, remit agad sa akin ang salary nya then bibigyan ko lang sya ng allowance para ako na ang magbubudget for our expenses, on time lagi umuwi, then lagi sya may surprise for me. madalas gumagawa pa sya ng music videos para pakiligin ako. hehe. pero that time, napaka childish ko. bunso kasi ako at medyo spoiled sa family. madalas ko sya inaaway kahit maliit na bagay lang. ilang araw ako nagtatampo.

fast forward sa present, dininig ni Lord at ni mama Mary ang prayers namin to get pregnant. two yrs in the making.  :D lalo ko naappreciate si hubby. sya ang tagalaba, luto, plantsa, namamalengke.. as in lahat ng gawain sa bahay. binubuhat pa nga nya nung naging maselan ang pregnancy ko lalo na pag umaakyat ako sa 2nd floor ng bahay namin. superman ang naging tingin ko sa kanya! love na love din sya ng family ko kasi sobra nga ang pagaalaga nya sa akin. at respectful sya sa kanila. he is really a great provider sa needs namin. and ngayon, feeling ko naging mas mature na ako. lalo na at magiging mommy na ako. madami itinuro si hubby sa akin. especially ang pagiging madasalin. every night sabay kami nagppray at nagnonovena at yun talaga ang nagstrengthen ng relationship namin. super thankful ako kay Lord dahil sya ang naging asawa ko. i feel so blessed because of our marriage.  ;D

^Enjoy life sis been there din at talagang mahirap. Make the most of your time with hubby habang wala pa si little one.

learn to accept kung ano plan ni lord for you. Think positive. Pero don't forget to drink your vitamins kasi malaking possibility may mabuo kayo pag relaxed talaga kayo pareho body, mind and soul. Exercise din kayo pareho. As in enjoy this time uulitin ko napakasarap niyan :)

YOu may want to read this nabasa ko sa kabilang thread baka makatulong po. https://rhejdemdam.wordpress.com/2018/03/04/getting-pregnant-with-pcos/

subscribing to this thread kasi ang saya ng topic. married one year pa lang and although they say honeymoon period pa run, we both think we are in our very natural state naman and walang pretensions. may pagkabrat pa ako minsan as in i provoke a fight to test the waters... i did that twice. Obviously hubby passed with flying colors but i feel sick to my stomach na ang brat ko and willing ko i-risk marriage namin/push away my husband just because i want to see how strong we are. I confessed this to him and hindi sya nagalit and he even said he knows me very well and knows i have my bouts of anxiety and insecurity at times so he just tries to comfort me when i swing in that direction.

When he said that, i matured dramatically and decided never to let my emotions get the best of me because i have a fabulous husband and don't want to compromise our marriage at all.

As for what makes us happy these days? goal-setting, caring for each other and spoiling one another. i sometimes worry once we have kids we won't get to enjoy as much of this attention anymore.

I hope i'm wrong and i will live through the experiences of other GTs here who are in far longer marriages than we have.

We are so happy we starting to obtain our plans for our family. As of the moment I can honestly say I am happy. I can't imagine my life without my husband and LO.

Super good vibes magbackread.
I always say I am super blessed to have my husband. He's the most loving, generous, and patient man I know. More than 1 year pa lang kaming married, 8 years as bf-gf, and I know him so well and vice versa. I'm currently 21 weeks preggy and he's as supportive as ever.
I always pray to God na sana healthy kami lagi and yung relationship namin ay lalong tumibay pag may baby na kami. :) Cheers to happy marriages!

we will be celebrating our 34th year of marriage this month and in June will be 41 years together as a couple.
ang masasabi ko lang,  being in love with the right person makes me happy, happy me  is already 1/2 of a happy marriage,  the  rest  is up to him na, hahahahaha.
ok, here goes the cheesy part.  he's literally the apple of my eyes,  i'm always looking around for the sight of him.  seeing him makes me feel loved, safe, complete.  as long as i know he's with me, i'm good.   and this started 41 years ago  when we started dating.  my day will not start unless i see me.   the good thing about being with the same person is we can talk about stuff like this that happened eons ago.  and lately that's what we've been doing a lot,  reminisce  about our happy youth together since it seems we're back to that setup again,  just the two us,  the kids all grown and out of the coop.
once in a while i visit/post on this thread to show that being truly in love with each other endures the test of time.  choosing to be happy is highly recommended.  KBK,  kindness begets kindness,  for me that's the key to a happy marriage.
this post may sound preachy to some but the above is what works for us.

Sis TysLolakins -- it's not preachy sounding, I love your post it's so raw and real. Time and again they say to make a whole marriage, you must have a complete happy YOU.

Yung line na "you complete me," napapa-cringe ako when i hear it. To be fair naman, a lot of people say it in jest, without the LITERAL meaning so i take that into consideration. But in reality, one must be a WHOLE before they seek a partner.. don't want to be a burden to the other person...

it is sage advice. don't lose your identity in a marriage, be a happy fulfilled YOU, so you are the best partner for your best partner. I like that a lot and hope ganyan na kame forever ni hubby. helping each other achieve each other's dreams....

Very inspiring sis @TysLolakins

^thanks, @Girltalker2,  lahat naman tayo we always try our best,  there are moments too when it's not easy and could be very trying, but as long as we don't lose sight of the more important things, i think we are ok, we can survive.
cheers to everyone here on this thread, may all our marriages continue to be showered with happiness, good fortune and lots of action in bed.   ;D

sis TysLolakins, #goals talaga... my hubby and i still have a long way to go so happy to set these goals -- gives us direction and inspiration. Congrats to your daughter also! More blessings to you all.

And may all our GT sisters live a good and happy life, with good and positive relationships that also inspire others.

Keep sharing the positive vibes sissies, for inspiration and also TIPS to a continued happy marriage. It's not all fun and games, it takes work -- but it is important work! As my mom told me before -- your marriage is your most important work. Once your children leave the house and you have an empty nest, you are back to your partner. So it's important to nurture that partnership always, to ensure the end state is a good one.
