Your circumstance and situation may be different, but you are entitled to find the person meant for you to share forever with. Like what others are saying, feel free to indulge in dating this guy or even other guys in general, but always remember that your daughter has to be the main priority.

You know how it is. When emotions run wild, with ups and downs... How your emotions run will also determine how you relate with your child, so make sure that you are a mother first and foremost.
