DIY Church Wedding Aisle Decorations

Hi sisses! Medyo specific talaga ang thread na ginawa ko. Actually, gusto ko ng unique wedding aisle pero affordable than the flowers. Im thinking of mixed of candles and flowers  kaya lang di ko ma-compose yung idea ko. Please share your ideas sa church aisle & decorations. Unique but affordable DIY. Thanks.

Thanks for starting the topic. Magandang idea nga ito para mas makatipid din. Have you started looking at ceremony setup sa internet? San ba ceremony mo? Church or garden?

Hi Sis you might consider yung feather pew decoration, instead of flower yung mga feathers na malalaki.
Or if candle talaga type is, mga malalaking candles or lumiaries with petals na lang around it. Pero kung umaga at ,aliwanag sa church hindi makikita yung effect ng candle.

Sis jbsanchez, before considering candles check muna with church if they will allow it as aisle decor, sa church ko kasi bawal.

sis iris_bordey, yes, nagtry na ko magsearch sa net and naghahanap pa ako ng mga ideas na simple but elegant, classy but affordable Catholic Church wedding kami.

sis purple_evie, I'll check sa net yung mga feather pew designs if okay. Actually, eto yung problem ko, "mga malalaking candles or lumiaries with petals na lang around it. Pero kung umaga at ,aliwanag sa church hindi makikita yung effect ng candle." 2pm yung wedding and maliwanag sa church pero depende siguro sa weather. pero gusto ko yung effect ng candle with petals.

Plan ko din sana ito since I want alternatives to the usual flower set-up. Kaso kailangan madali lang i-execute para ok lang idelegate

Glad to have found this thread. I am having my ceremony at Archbishop's Palace and di kasama flowers sa rate nila. You have to provide your own and I am so open to the idea na of DIY-ing it para less expense and unique pa Keep the ideas coming!

May nakita ko sa olx. LED candles.iniisip ko kasi na baka di pumayag ang church sa kandila kasi baka messy at delikado rin

Ang plan ko maglagay ng evolution pics namin sa bawal row ng chairs. Yung frame niya eh yung popsicle sticks na lang.

pinwheel decors are easy to do and are good alternative to flowers

I'm actually considering them for my aisle decor too.. bukod sa cute, madali lang rin sya gawin.

you can still use candles if you like. Just use the flame less ones. May mga battery operated candles naman e. It wouldn't be a problem using those kasi hinde naman messy.


edited to add: I just found this website and ang cute nung ginawa nya as aisle decor http://eventsbydanvy.blogspot.ca/2012/08/thao-tris-wedding-august-11th-2012.html Using real flowers like the one in the picture could be expensive. Pero sure madami naman alternative e.

I already decided na im not decorating the church sa wedding. (dahil nagtitipid ako).
We chose 6pm wedding and since the church is beautiful itself and maiksi lang naman yung aisle, ill put lots of candles sa jar with water and paper lanterns. That's it! Para very solemn ang dating plus na din na walng ililigpit!

But very nice! I've seen so many photos kaso very rare sa Pinas ang evening wedding.
Easy to execute but very dramatic ang effect ng candles.

you could always re-activate it ^_^

my church aisle decors will also be non-floral and DIY...i'll use tissue paper pompoms and ribbons in my wedding colors then i'll have a ribbon curtain at the entrance ^_^
