Do I Have the Right to Get Mad?
« on: January 01, 2014, 10:58:45 am »
New year na new year, nakipag-break ako sa bf ko.  :(

No, wait. GALIT ako. Dahil mag [textspeak!]-new year, eh I acted okay at first pa. Then kaninang umaga lang ako nakipag-break at sinabi ko punong-puno na ako sa kanya.

He asked me kung ano ba raw kung bestfriend niya nga yun.

Parang may kasalanang tinatago. Simula noon, lagi na naming napapag-awayan yun.

Then we broke up (hindi yun ang main reason) tapos niligawan niya yung girl. After two years, nagkabalikan kami at huminto siya sa panliligaw sa girl.

Then may nabasa akong chat nila ng friend nung girl. He compared me to the girl! As in sobrang sakit lang kasi nasa positive light yung girl, tapos ako yung masama dun sa pag-compare niyang yun.

I can't trust him with MY own bestfriend.

So... ayun at napuno na ako ngayon.

With my bf kasi ngayon, lagi nalang akong takot at galit. Iniisip ko tuloy kung mas magiging masaya ba ako if maging single nalang or hintaying ang tamang lalaki for me.

To TS: find a man na hindi ka bibigyan ng dahilan na magselos. For the guy naman, he must find a girl na hindi niya kailangan mag explain ng mag explain paulit ulit.

But aith the history you mentioned, you started your year right.

Dont even feel guilty. Remember a guy should never give her woman a reason to feel insecure, threatened nor unloved. It seems your ex ha s aha it of comparing you all the time. If he cant love you beyond your imprefections and be thankful of having you as hus girl regardless of your flaws, aba mag isip ka. Walang contentment yan. For sure time will come lalandi rin yan. Itaga mo yan sa bato. May history na nga sya di ba?

Yes comfortable ka pero would you rather be in your comfort zone of full of insecurities, jealousy, comparison etc or would you rather step out and find a new comfort zone full of love and security?  You choose.

Goodluck!

with this statement sis, would you really want to be with someone who'll just constantly put you in "takot and galit". is he even worth it? mababaw nga yung reason for break up but maybe at that point you've reach the threshold. if that has been the cause of major fights and the fact that she was/is an attraction/temptation to him, isn't it only right that he stays away from that girl? maiintidihan ko pa siguro kung officemates then di talaga pwede but if pwede pa?

ako anuman ang mangyayari i wouldn't want my boyfriend to have a female bestfriend. ever. hehe.

being comfortable in a relationship is not suppose to be the reason to stay in the relationship!

hindi ako naniniwala sa girl and boy best friends set up, a girl and a boy ay dinesign ni God para magkagustuhan. if not both, isa sa kanila, naiisip na nila kung 'paano kaya kung kame?'. come to think of it, you can be yourself around them, magkasundo kayo sa likes and dislikes nyo, nagtatawanan kayo sa jokes ng isa't-isa, nag-aakbayan ng walang malisya. hindi mo ba iisipin na 'e kung sya na lang kaya boyfriend/girlfriend ko?' oh come on!!!! hahahaha

Well, I do have some kind of a best boy buddy. We treat each other as a sister and brother. And we were both amazed na wala kaming L-factor (lust or l*b*g) with each other. So it is possible for the friendship to just be platonic and we both admittedly love each other like sibs. But when he told me na nagseselos si girl sakin, I distanced myself and we no longer viber or text as much as we used to. Nung sya naman pinagselosan ni boyps, he did the same thing. As long as you both have respect for each others' respective partners, then it is possible to just be best buddies, no hanky panky, without malice either.

Tama lang ginawa ni TS, her BF is just not worth her time and attention. Imagine being stressed day in and day out at di mo alam sino sino ang nilalandi niya.

TS Happy New Year!  You are on the right track. I am sure you will be able to find the right guy for you because you are one of the few ones na nakita ko na can think straight despite the circumstances.

I know, I read the threadstarter's post. It was a response to the post before mine and not with the threadstarter's concern.

MAY12, do not waste your time investing in a relationship where you do not feel SECURE/MOST LOVED.

Do you have the right to get mad?
Aba, oo! You have wasted enough time on this guy who appears to pounce on every opportunity to develop a relationship with anyone ready & willing.

Count me in, duda rin ako dyan sa mga boy-girl best friend pairing! Hahaha. But seriously, I've seen it too many times where it turns out may "hidden desire" pala yung isa sa isa, o kaya nagkakadevelopan talaga. Of course, there may be a few exceptions out there, but most of the time, ito nae-encounter ko.

I agree with aquacharly. Life is too short eh. If in doubt, don't na kagad. Nakakapagod at nakakawrinkles mag-isip.  ;D

korek! it doesn't necessarily mean naman na it's two way. pwedeng isa lang ang may hidden desire or naka-isip na "what if?" :)

you made the right decision. Please dont doubt yourself.
So what kung comfortable ka na sa relationship? I think equally important ang emotional security, at hindi sa hindi niya kaya pero ayaw at unaware siya na kailangan niya to ibigay sayo.
Theres nothing wrong with being single, be thankful that you are now free of him, focus on yourself for the time being.

Yes, you have all the right to get mad. Sa relasyon, worst feeling is feeling like you're only the second choice. Parang may forever worry ka if ikaw ba talaga gusto niya. Mahahanap mo rin yang guy na will make you feel like you're the only one in his life. Kahit madami pa siyang babaeng kaibigan, you'd just know if ikaw lang talaga.

Your bf should be your bestfriend!
