Flu Vaccine is the most Dangerous Vaccine in the U. S. based on Settled Cases for Injuries

The last report issued in 2013 by the Department of Justice (Vaccine Court), for compensation made by the Health and Human Services for people injured or killed by vaccines, was released in December 2013, covering the period of 8/16/2013 through 11/15/2013. The report is available as a Power Point presentation here.

There were 139 claims settled during this time period, with 70 of them being compensated. So, just over 50% of the claims filed for vaccine damages were compensated during this period.

Once again, the greatest percentage of damages compensated were for the influenza vaccine, and most of those were for Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS). Yet these facts, tucked away in a file on the Department of Health and Human Services website, are never reported in the mainstream media. So we will report them here. Reports to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System after hepatitis A and hepatitis AB vaccines in pregnant women

Abstract

Objective

To characterize adverse events (AEs) after Hepatitis A vaccines (Hep A) and Hepatitis A and Hepatitis B combination vaccine (Hep AB) in pregnant women reported to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS), a spontaneous reporting surveillance system.



Study design

We searched VAERS for AEs reports in pregnant women who received Hep A or Hep AB from 01/01/1996-04/05/2013. Clinicians reviewed all reports and available medical records.



Results

VAERS received 139 reports of AEs in pregnant women; 7 (5.0%) were serious; No maternal or infant deaths were identified. Sixty-five (46.8%) did not describe an AE. For those women whose gestational age was available, most were vaccinated during the first trimester, 50/60 (83.3%) for Hep A and 18/21 (85.7%) for Hep AB. The most common pregnancy-specific outcomes following Hep A or Hep AB vaccinations were spontaneous abortion in 15 (10.8%) reports, elective termination in 10 (7.2%), and pre-term delivery in 7 (5.0%) reports. The most common non-pregnancy specific outcome was urinary tract infection and nausea vomiting with 3 (2.2%) reports each. One case of amelia of the lower extremities was reported in an infant following maternal Hep A immunization.




Conclusions

This review of VAERS reports did not identify any concerning pattern of AEs in pregnant women or their infants following maternal HepA or HepAB immunizations during pregnancy.

Abstract

The first conjugate vaccine was approved for use in the US in 1988 to protect infants and young children against the capsular bacteria Haemophilus influenzae type b (Hib). Since its introduction in the US, this vaccine has been approved in most developed countries, including Denmark and Israel where the vaccine was added to their national vaccine programs in 1993 and 1994, respectively. There have been marked increases in the reported prevalence of autism spectrum disorders (ASDs) among children in the US beginning with birth cohorts in the late 1980s and in Denmark and Israel starting approximately 4-5 years later. Although these increases may partly reflect ascertainment biases, an exogenous trigger could explain a significant portion of the reported increases in ASDs. It is hypothesized here that the introduction of the Hib conjugate vaccine in the US in 1988 and its subsequent introduction in Denmark and Israel could explain a substantial portion of the initial increases in ASDs in those countries. The continuation of the trend toward increased rates of ASDs could be further explained by increased usage of the vaccine, a change in 1990 in the recommended age of vaccination in the US from 15 to 2 months, increased immunogenicity of the vaccine through changes in its carrier protein, and the subsequent introduction of the conjugate vaccine for Streptococcus pneumoniae. Although conjugate vaccines have been highly effective in protecting infants and young children from the significant morbidity and mortality caused by Hib and S. pneumoniae, the potential effects of conjugate vaccines on neural development merit close examination. Conjugate vaccines fundamentally change the manner in which the immune systems of infants and young children function by deviating their immune responses to the targeted carbohydrate antigens from a state of hypo-responsiveness to a robust B2 B cell mediated response. This period of hypo-responsiveness to carbohydrate antigens coincides with the intense myelination process in infants and young children, and conjugate vaccines may have disrupted evolutionary forces that favored early brain development over the need to protect infants and young children from capsular bacteria.

There are 8,000 different adverse vaccine reactions listed in the complete CDC’s VAERS database. (1) The majority of them are what we would expect; nausea, swelling at the injection site, crying, fever, and the like. Though such reactions are universally characterized as normal by the medical community, they are not . They may be typical vaccine reactions, but they’re the body’s response to the noxious ingredients; they’re not normal. In most folks, a temperature of 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit is normal; fever is not. A limber arm is normal; one pained by a hot, hardened lump, the result of aggregated aluminum from a vaccine adjuvant, is not. (2) Moreover, though vaccine reactions vary in severity, a reaction at any level is often a harbinger of more severe reactions to subsequent vaccinations.



The industry describes serious vaccine reactions as rare, but a continuing look at the VAERS statistics proves not only that vaccines aren’t safe, but that serious, sometimes catastrophic injuries aren’t rare at all – they are peppered in and among the most often reported reactions.



 The following is a list of serious vaccine injuries that appear among the top 5%, listed in the order of frequency of reporting – convulsion, for instance, is reported 13,281 times, viral infection 4,708 times, autism 2,307, and so on. Cervix vaccine issues trigger health notice

The health ministry has issued a nationwide notice that cervical cancer vaccinations should no longer be recommended for girls aged 12 to 16 because several adverse reactions to the medicines have been reported.

“It is necessary to gather information immediately to accurately grasp how often (the side effects) are occurring,” said Mariko Momoi, who chairs the panel at the Health, Labor and Welfare Ministry that decided to suspend the recommendation. Momoi is vice president of the International University of Health and Welfare.

Mika Matsufuji, 46, who represents an association of cervical cancer vaccination victims’ parents, said the health panel’s decision was a “big step forward.” Her daughter, who was vaccinated with Cervarix in 2011, lost the ability to walk and is now in a wheelchair, she said.

The ministry said this is the second time it has suspended a recommendation related to the regular vaccine program since problems cropped up with the Japanese encephalitis vaccine in 2005.

In 2011, however, Pfizer Inc.’s Prevnar and Sanofi SA’s ActHIB vaccines were suspended for about a month following the deaths of four children.
