Steam bond by Loreal

I just had steam bond a few days ago. I still find my hair rather flat seems to me, it isn't very different from the regular rebond after all.

Who's had steam bond as well? How'd you find it? When did volume return to your hair?

I had my steam bond last year @ Bench Fix Glorietta. With hair color I totaled at almost 9k! Maganda yung result (parang mas shiny [textspeak!] buhok at mas bouncy!) pero for the price, hindi ko na afford ulitin. I had my normal rebond,brazilian treatment + color from Sir George Express and it was just as good. Less bounce lang at shine but I can get that from Hair Masks. Hope this helps!

I saw this promo for steam bond at Php3,500 at Pals salon or Php3,800 at going straight. Has anybody tried this?

tried it, my hair was flat for at least a month then regained volume quite quickly. the effect didnt last as long as traditional rebond (5 months vs 11 months)

Sis if i may ask ano ba type nang hair mo? Gusto ko kasi ito i try kasi parang in between say nang rebonding and keratin. Yung hair ko naturally straight pero buhaghag.

hi sisses. I tried this sa Edwin Lisa salon sa may J.P rizal last december 2013, i paid around 6k.
nakita ko yung ads nila sa sulit, 3500pesos. Tapos 2500 for loreal hair color.
Complete na, steambond, steam care, and mythic oil etc.

okay naman siya. Makapal kasi hair ko, wavy/buhaghag, and makapal din bawat strands.
so hindi ko masabi na may volume, dahil may volume na naturally yung hair ko.

pero overall, maganda siya, compared sa ibang rebond na natry ko.
Ngayon, naghahanap ako ng deal na katulad nung last year. Mejo mahal na kasi ngayon compared sa deal na nakita ko last year. Kelangan ko na, dahil mahaba na yung bagong tubo na hair.
Ang problema ko lang, matigas yung ends. buhol-buhol, siguro kasi dry naren talaga buhok ko.
hindi naman kasi ako nagpapatreatment after ng salon, more on diy lang sa bahay, conditioner.

pero kung uulitin ko to? Definitely. Ngayon lang ako nakatry ng ganito katagal na rebond, yung iba kasi, bumabalik ang buhaghag/kulot after ilang months. sa steambond, less drying and somehow treatment din sya.

may nakita akong deal sa edwin lisa 6500 ata with color pero hindi pa ata yun loreal at v/o premier 7500 ata pero hindi din loreal color, mejo mas mahal nga lang pag loreal.

Steam bond kasi yun iron lang ang naiba so yun gamot xtenso pa din ang problem dyan kapag tinipid sa gamot hindi maganda ang kakalabasan. Steampod as hair iron super ganda hands down the best hair iron kahit gano pa kakulot isang hagod lang ng steampod yan ang gamit ko sa mga clients ko

I had my hair steambonded several months ago (around jan or feb) at soiree. Purchased a voucher from ensogo for only P3500 lang. My hair was bra length and was losing the curls from my digiperm so i decided to totally get rid of the curls and have it steambonded. Imo, this is way better than rebond. Yeah, after the process my hair was super bagsak and pin straight (which i didnt like) BUT! It was super soft, bouncy and shiny! My hair started to regain a little volume at the ends over the months but it is still straight, soft, bouncy and shiny up to this day.

Hello Sisters, na try ko na to. Sa una, mas shiny yung hair kesa kapag ordinary Iron lang ang gamit. Pero nung tumagal, naging dry at putol putol hair ko so last year, bumalik na lang ako sa ordinary Loreal xtenso rebond.

Hello Sisters, nag ask ako recently sa isang salon regarding this steam bond. Ang difference lang is yung iron na ginagamit pero sa procedure and the gamot na gamit, same lang din. In the end, yung original na lang pinagawa ko. Mas sure pa.

After trying so hard na pahabain at imaintain ang virgin hair ko, i finally gave in. Tagal ko ng gusto pagawa tong steambond, hanggang bewang pa hair ko noon at talagang suki pa ko ng mga rebond sa mga parlor kung saan saan.

My reason for trying this is out is yung hair kong frizzy and tikwasin. Nagpa BB (brazilian blowout na legit) ako sa freshaire before, ay girl saket sa mata as in luha gallore ako. Tapos ang effect 1-2 months lang wala na kahit nitry ko pa syang gamitan ng mga bonggang shampoo. Mahal but hindi tumagal effect so etong steambond last option ko na talaga.

As of now, I am at Regine's salon ortigas branch. I saw their promo at dealgrocer but when i texted them same price lang pala so hindi na ko nagbuy ng deal sa DG and just headed straight at their ortigas branch.

Will let you know kung ano magiging effect saken nitong steambond.

Don?t go to veneracion beauty salon and spa. I had my steam bond there and I was so disappointed hindi yung mismong iron for steambond yung ginamit and masaklap pa yung kemei brand ata un and I checked it sobrang mura lang nung flat iron. yung gamot lang talaga ang loreal but I?m also not sure kung yun talaga ang ginamit nilang gamot. Imagine you payed for the steambond then hindi yun yung service na ibibigay sayo I am so traumatized and pinabalik pako para lang ulitin yung rebond which is dapat hindi mangyayari kung inayos nila stylist?s are just after their quota even the hairstylists mga walang modo knowing they?re all guys haay

I had my steam bond done last October 27 at Azta Urban Salon Vertis North.
My hair was digitally permed July 2017, hair color roots retouch 2 weeks prior to steam bond.

My hair is super soft, shiny and straight until now. I think the best rebond I had so far. My previous rebonds usually a little wavy na after washing the hair. Hopefully tumagal ang result.
