Update: my new skincare regimen

I am into organics right now and currently I am using the whole set of realnaturaorganics/naturaoorganics smart age reform set. I just added the following :

AM: & PM last step ng regimen ko : raw unrefined shea butter (less sa morning if working days and more at night)

PM

every 2 to 3x a week : Raw African Black Soap.(don't apply the soap directly sa face)  I put organic oils on the lather, like 2 to 3 drops. Not more than a minute sa face. rinse agad.

Miracle Fluid

Hi! what does the black soap do? I have a clear skin.. but a bit dry and a teeny bit blotchy sa cheeks. I want it to be perfect. Where did you buy those products?

thanks!

^ sis @joycefler, daming benefits ng african black soap. for me, i use it to tone and for skin discolorations sa face. It is also a deep cleanser sis.  I use it naman sa body. yung mga minor skin problems naheal nya. fungal infection ni hubby ito lang ginamit nya.

Pero since you have dry skin sis, for me u need to use it with oils or moisturize ka ng favorite mo na moisturizer. do not use it daily sa face. Magandang partner nya is shea butter.

Daming mabibilhan sa IG sis ng african black soap pero mahal yung iba eh.  Sa ebay meron akong suki before, si amazona but out of the country yata cya til august. I purchased mine sa amazon. But meron si beautybarbsorganics of ig nito, sha yata pinakamura sa lahat. :)

if you google it sis, dami mo makikitang links and blogs regarding ABS (african black soap)

Have been trying to tweak my skincare regimen dahil nakakapagod na maraming pahid pahid. Less is more na ang motto ko ngayon chos.

AM
Cetaphil cleanser
Micellar water as toner
St. Ives Collagen Elastin moisturizer/Argan oil
VMV Armada Sport 70 sunblock/Nivea Sun Moisturizing
Makeup routine

PM
Neutrogena Makeup Cleansing Towelette
Cetaphil cleanser
Skin Food Black Sugar Wash Off Mask every 3 days
Micellar water as toner
SK-II Facial Treatment Essence, though I'm finishing this bottle na lang; will switch to Missha First Treatment Essence na afterwards
Missha Time Revolution Night Repair Ampoule
Random sheet masks every 3 days
Missha Geumsul Vitalizing Eye Cream
Sum 37 Timeless Moisturizing Cream
Petroleum jelly for the lips

I'm slowly lessening my night time rituals, hopefully I can get by with just cleansing, exfoliating, night cream/moisturizer/essence/ampoule, and eye cream lang.

^ Hi sis, if you don't mind my asking, ano effect sayo nung Black sugar mask? And why are you switching from SKII to Missha? (I ordered these two products, curious lang ako) :) And where did you get your SUM37 product na rin? TIA!

^ Hi, sis! Happy to answer your questions. :)

The Skin Food Black Sugar is a nice scrub - face feels super clean and softer, and looks brighter afterwards, plus ang yummy ng amoy niya. Can be used on dry and wet skin, depends on your preference. On dry skin syempre mas abrasive ang effect ng scrubbing.

Why I'll switch naman to Missha from SK-II is purely for monetary reasons. Sobrang mahal ni SK-II! ;D The bottle I'm currently finishing is my third; I've read reviews na dupe niya raw si Missha FTE so I'll try it out. Hopefully hiyang ako, if not then I guess no choice but to go back to SK-II.

My SUM 37 Timeless Moisturizing Cream naman is pabili ko lang sa friend ko who went to Korea. 'Di ko pa alam san ako bibili ulit if naubos my stock. :P

HTH!

^ Thanks sis! :)
If hindi ako mahiyang sa Missha FTE, I'd probably give a try naman the IOPE Bio intensive conditiong essence. Maybe you can try that too, if hindi ka rin mahiyang. Unlike SKII, it doesn't have parabens. :)

I'm addicted to skincare. LOL. I religiously stick to a skincare regimen and I'm seeing the benefits now. My skin has never been this better in my adult years.

My night time skincare routine consists of:

1. Double cleanse - cleansing balm
2. Double cleanse - facial wash
3. Micro-exfoliating cleanser (2x a week)
4. Facial mask (2x a week)
5. Acid toner
6. Serum
7. Moisturizer
8. Eye cream
9. Night cream
10. Facial oil (though I often skip this these days)
11. Overnight lip balm/cream

Talking about skincare gives me some kind of high. Haha. I shared details of this regimen here:
http://www.happymomster.com/2016/04/my-11-step-skincare-ritual.html

hi sis! what brand of overnight lip balm are you using? TIA!

My skincare regimen compared to me last post here have changed a lot. as in a lot. From ig readily available products facial and body kits to more maarte and masinsin na items.

Before nung nagbabasa ako dito sa thread na to sabi ko why ganito karami nilalagay nila then now i understand.  Habang nag aadd ka pala ng year sa age ko magbabago preferences and needs mo. Hopefully, maging ok yung regimen ko ngayon. Though i can say mas magastos at maka-butas bulsa talaga. Pero kung worth it naman sige lang.

1.Day:
Face:
Neutrogena deep clean brightening facial wash
Neutrogena deep clean blackhead eliminating cooling effect toner
Neutrogena ultra sheer sunblock spf50
J&J powder

Body:
Kojic Soap (any brand will do)
Myra-E lotion
Dermcare sunblock

2.Night:
Face:
Biore cleansing wipes
Neutrogena deep clean brightening facial wash
Neutrogena deep clean blackhead eliminating cooling effect toner
First treatment essence (currently using trial sachets from Missha, then secret key pag ubos na)
Missha borabit ampoule
Cathy doll eye serum

2-3x a week :
face masks

Body:
Kojic Soap (any brand will do)
Myra-E lotion

I've been so lazy with my skincare regimen lately. I don't know maybe because i'm also too busy with my kids. Anyhow here it is:

AM:
Kojic San soap
Dr. Alvin's sunblock gel
Missha BB Cream

PM:
Missha Make-up remover (when I'm in heavy make-up or eye shadow)
Nivea Whitening facial scrub
Avalon Toner (from my mom, wit orange essence)
Clinique Moisturizer (but most of the time, i skip this when I feel like my skin is too oily)
