35 weeks na kami ni baby today! 2 weeks to go at full term na si baby hay feeling ko bumagal ang panahon, nakakainip ang paghihintay! super excited na kasi kame talaga makita at mahawakan si baby plus yung anticipation ko ng panganganak, nakaka- kaba every 2 weeks na rin yung check up ko with OB since nag 30 weeks kame, then sabe ng ob ko next check up ko, i-ie na daw niya ako.

ako rin hanggat kaya ko pa pumasok sa work, papasok ako, sayang kasi ang leave credits para magamit ko na lang sa pag aalaga kay baby pero di ko rin iri-risk kung advise na ni ob na need ko na mag rest since ang layo ng work (from qc to taguig ang byahe ko) to think na commute lang ako nun.

Mommykthea, i guess you really have no choice but to file your ML early so you can rest. Praying your baby will stay inside you till you're full term.

arte20, i already had mine. Medyo maaga nga yung akin at 24weeks. It was thrown kasi by my mother in law when we were in the states pa. Yung baby shower ko dito sa Manila, im still contemplating kasi complete narin gamit ng baby ko. Plus ang bilis ko narin mapagod at tumitigas na stomach ko. It's better if someone else (sibling or best friend) will throw it for you. Pero okay lang din kung ikaw, medyo stressful lang din kasi mag organize.

thanks sa replies mga sis! actually my SIL and MIL wants to have one for me kaso medyo doubt ako if it'll be at their expense. baka kasi ending kami pa ni h2b gumastos. hehe. kaya naisip ko kung walang makakaisip to organized and sponsor one for me, ok lang i'll just buy the stuffs that our baby needs di ba kesa gumastos pa sa baby shower.

around 31-32weeks na ako mga sis. Just wondering if any of you bought electric breast pumps na? Pano niyo nadetermine yung size ng flange? Should I buy na ba or after ko na manganak? I'm thinking of buying the Spectra M1 kasi saw a lot of good reviews. First time mom and medyo nangangapa pa ako sa idea of breastfeeding. Formula kasi kaming lahat before kasi inverted nipples ng mom ko. Anyway, gusto ko sanang itry and hope you can share what you know about breastpumps.

yung pag file ng ML samin at least a month before din. i think may kinalaman ito sa SSS cheque kasi ifafund muna ng company then reimburse sa SSS so you have money before ka manganak. basta ganun  need din maglagay ng tentative date pero ok lang pumasok kahit past due ng tentative date na nilagay mo. pwede naman i adjust.

no plans regarding bebe shower.. [textspeak!] lang sa personality namin ni partner. pero kung may surprise, why not. mag iinarte pa ba kami? 

alam ko when you reach 30W every 3 weeks na check up.

about sa breast pump, di muna ako bibili. kelangan muna i establish ang BF at least 4W. pero balak ko bumili ng manual pump a week after ko ma establish ang BF para lang may magamit when i feel engorged. yung sa flange less than 25 centavo ang nipple, small. pag less than 1peso coin medium. then large pag between 1peso and 5 peso coin

I got a medela pump in style electric pump. Binili ko na ng maaga since I was in the states sayang kasi cheaper doon. My mother in law also gave me a manual medela. Libre daw from the hospital. I couldn't try it out talaga kasi it will cause contractions.

I saw a few videos on youtube suggesting you pump immediately after giving birth and just store it till you can use the bottle (usually at 6 weeks to avoid nipple confusion). Someone also suggested to pump in the morning since doon daw pinaka madaming milk sa boobie. Meron din she gave birth too early so while her child was in the nicu. She pumped every 2 or 3 hours to establish BF. Her baby was in the incubator and couldn't suck pa so it was the pump that helped her establish her supply. Ewan ko lang ha. I'm planning to hire a lactation consultant to help me out.

We're at 30weeks na and just came from a bout of lbm.  Salamat naman at nawala na.  Doc prescribed a safe antibiotic for pregnant women since 1week na di gumagaling.  Ang hirap!!

+arte20+ ako hindi pa..hindi ko alam if isusurprise kami (nahihiya naman ako magtanong diba?) pero if meron, why not?  Sana lang maaga para atleast alam na namin kung ano pa yung kailangan namin bilhin.  Mahirap kasi bumili ng marami dahil in the end, poproblemahin pa namin ang storage ng mga gamit considering we don't have a big place and ayoko, as much as possible, ng clutter

michicar iniisip ko nga rin if bibili na ako ng breastpump and kung anong okay.  Manual/Electric and which brand? I plan to direct breastfeed kasi as much as possible but syempre pag balik sa work, kailangan magpump.  Balak ko to leave expressed breastmilk during the times na nasa office ako but direct feeding pa rin when I get home.  Mas mura daw ng sobra ang manual at okay pang-back-up and very portable, ang tanong: hindi ba nakakangawit?  What's a good brand?  Pigeon daw mura at okay but hindi nagbebenta ng spare parts so you'll have to buy a whole set kapag nasira.  Medela naman mahal but sobrang okay ng after sales service niya and some moms swear na lumalakas ang output nila compared to other brands of breastpumps.

vainkixie may pump in style ba na single?  I checked the website, double lang kasi.  Baka kako may single version dito sa atin para hindi ganon kamahal? 

Hindi pa ako nagbi-breastfeeding class at all!  Anyone know saan meron?  Sa medela house kasi, breastfeeding 202 na yung class bukas, you're supposed to take the 101, 202 and 303 para sulit ang bayad e we missed the 1st one na tapos si hubby di rin pwede bukas so if ever, ako lang ang aattend, sayang naman.  Saan pa ba meron (na libre kung pwede?) at ano-anong breastpumps ang okay?   Naeexcite na ako but at the same time natatakot at the prospect of labor and giving birth!

Wishbear88, double ang pump in style. Yung single pump is called swing.. its more portable than the pump in style. Libre ba yung classes sa medela house?

 Yung mga lactation consultants they go to your house to teach you personally. One on one siya. Parang hindi ko na kaya to attend classes at super bilis ko na talaga mapagod.

vainkixie, I'm reading good reviews din about the cimilre..nalito tuloy ako between getting that or the medela.  Laki din kasi ng price difference. 

May bayad yung sa medela na classes e.  Iba-iba ata ang fee per topic.  You can get a list of topics that they have lined up for the year then choose na lang which you want to attend.  Tumawag ako sa mga hospitals to ask if they have breastfeeding classes, meron naman pero every 2months na yung pinaka-consistent na nakita ko.  Yung iba, not sure pa raw kung magkakaroon o hindi.  Earliest schedule na ata na nahanap ko is for July na.  Saan makakahanap ng lactation consultant and how much ang fee kapag ganon?

Hi! Just got home from OB visit. Okay na kami ni baby. Satisfied na si OB sa weight ni Baby. Nakahabol na sa tamang weeks. 32 weeks na kami I asked if I could take malunggay capsules sabi ng OB ko after ko na raw manganak. Meron naman daw milk lalabas sa akin. Usually daw kasi kahit ilang gallon ng malunggay daw ang intake ko kung hinde naman daw matyaga wala rin daw kwenta. Breastfeeding dapat daw dedicated si mommy and the milk will flow naturally.

I also visited yung office ng babymama yung distributor ng Spectra M1 Cimilre. Checked the flange na kasama kung kasha. Very good reviews niya and instead of buying medela, I think okay na sha kasi portable and has rechargeable battery and outlet. I just bought the nursing cover and next week will be attending a breastfeeding private seminar so after that na ako bibili. Pwede ko paship or papick up na lang. Bibili na ako before ako manganak para just in case na hinde maayos yung pagsuck ni baby, I can pump na lang. Back up lang pero I'll buy na end of the month. July due ko eh.

Sis, based sa babymama.ph, their latest stocks of Spectra M1 is compatible with wide neck bottles na daw..ask ko lang, pwede bang iderecho na dun yung avent bottles? Avent palang kasi ang ittry namin ngayon and will check if ok kay baby..

Hi mommies, I gave birth to my two boys yesterday, June 08, 2014 at 5:06 AM via emergency CS. Almost 30 weeks pa lang kami. I named them Joaquin Enrico (Kito) and Jacobo Ezekiel (Kiel). They are still under observation sa incubator cause they can't still breathe on their own. I'm still praying that wala na silang ibang complications.

Mommies, please pray for my little ones. They really need it right now. Thank you very much.
