Let me share to you my story:

I also had a same experience. I met this married guy at work. At first, I didn't know that he’s married. We became instant friends and we became inseparable. An officemate told me that the guy is already married. Nagulat ako at first but I didn't mind it because we’re not a ‘couple’. I told myself that there was nothing wrong because we were just friends, though I can really feel the strong attraction between us.

One day, when we went to a friend’s house, we drank a little but we were not drunk. And then he kissed me and I kissed back. He said ‘nakokonsensya ako’ and I didn't say anything. But still he kissed me again. We didn't talk about kung ano na kami nun and hinatid niya ako sa house namin.

Then there came the company Christmas party. He brought his wife with him. She was pretty and he introduced her to me. We chatted a little and that’s it.

After a few more days, I received a call from him. He asked if I was doing anything. I said none. He said he wants to meet me. I said yes and he picked me up at our house. I noticed that he’s a little drunk. I didn't ask where we were going. We went into a hotel and ‘that’ happened.

So that’s the start of our ‘official’ relationship. We tried to hide it at first at work but people still noticed it. Maybe we couldn't really hide that we care for each other. People may have talked about it at first but they eventually ignored it. It’s as if it’s an open secret.

Then his brother joined the company. He learned about us and talked to me. He told me that I was young and pretty and I should have not entered into that kind of relationship. But I was madly in love with his brother that I ignored with all he said.

One day he got fed up and told his brother’s wife. The wife bombarded me with calls and text messages. I didn't answer her calls. Her text messages were so angry but I didn't reply back to any of it. And that went on for days until she sent me a text messages begging for me to leave her husband as her husband told her that he was leaving her and their two kids for me. Bad as it may sound but I still ignored her.

She went to our office and confronted me. I still didn't say anything because I had nothing to tell her. She got pissed and pulled my hair. We had a cat-fight. Her husband pulled her away and told her to go home. He came to me and we left together.

And he left her. He left his two kids. He left their home.

One Saturday, his wife went to our house and talked to my parents. She told them everything. My parents got so mad and they decided to send me outside Philippines. I got so frustrated but I was also okay with it because of what was going on. I told him that I love him so much and I will be back for him. Then I left the country.
When I came here, I am all by myself. I lived independently and I met new friends. I often attended church and made me embrace the Lord. And that’s how I came to my realizations that all I did was all wrong. I still loved him at that time but I chose to let him go. I know it was already too late because he has already left his family but I still hoped that he’ll go back to them. But I was wrong. He sent me letters, called me everyday, sent me emails and sent me text messages but I already decided not to talk to him anymore. He tried his best to get to where I am now but he just couldn't. He also left the Philippines and went to a neighboring country hoping that he still can get to me. But none of it worked as I no longer wanted to be with him.

The last thing I heard about him is he found a new love in that country. His ex-wife also has a boyfriend now and I am now happily married. I have told my husband about my past before we got married and he accepted it whole-heartedly. He said his love for me didn't change and I am very thankful that I found a very understanding one.

If only I could turn back time, I would and I would have never done any of it. But I couldn't. I can only hope that I can talk to his wife to tell her how truly sorry I am for all the heartaches that I caused..

This is a true story.

My tita had a kid, she was married --  theirs was a perfect marriage of  2 beautiful people. Both had flourishing careers.  They had all the trappings of wealth.

1 evening, they went to a big event of  CEOs, in HK.  She looked across the room, locked eyes with someone....  and fell in love at 1st sight with a married much older CEO.
She tried to stay in her marriage.  They  "eloped", after a year --   eyebrows all raised: how could 2 people like them act that way?  End  of both marriages.  She later got an annulment..   He divorced his wife.  They lived grandly abroad.  We cousins would spend vacation times in their houses  in San Fo/Paris/HK.

20 years after, they go back to the Phils for the first time. She was missed much & there was a whirlwind of socials for them both.  They were here for 2 weeks.

A week after their return to their home in San Fo, he tells her he wants a divorce. He fell in love  with a woman in the Phils & wants to live in Palawan. Susko

She goes through hell repeatedly as he goes back & forth to the Phils.  1 day he says it's over, shortly thereafter he goes back again to the Phils.
My tita  says 1 day she was alone, she got on her knees and from the depths of her heart, asked forgiveness from her ex husband and his ex wife.  She said, napaka sakit pala.

Karma, says her mom, our Lola.

@jadeann23

I respect your comment. Besides, what I said from my previous post is that I didn't sign up in FN to have a fight nor to argue with someone. I'm here to share my experience and also to learn. Go and pick someone else. Not me! Thank you :)

Based on your stories,
It may happen to me in the future, but I'm ready for it. I don't even assume that much para hindi sya ganun kasakit in the end.

mynameisxtine naintindihan mo siguro why some of the posters here have violent reactions sa mga mistresses. You need to be at the receiving end of the pain for you to understand it. Right now I can truly appreciate what you are going through. Been there. Done that. In my case, wala pa nga lang akong anak at asawa when that happened. And luckily, I was able to detach myself from getting even more sucked into the situation. Your situation I agree is one that you have chosen and still chose to be in. It feels so good, it feels right and perhaps yes, kayong dalawa lang nung guy ang nakakaintindi ng situation nyong dalawa, kayong dalawa lang din ang makakapagdecide how long you want to live in that bubble.

Whatever happens tomorrow or in the future you said - you're ready for it. And the way karma works, hindi lang sayo ang balik, and that, if I were you, I will fear more.

I'm just wondering how long can you go on like that mag sneak out ka to meet with your kalaguyo to have s*x eh paano kung pag uwi mo eh mag ask din ng s*x ang partner mo.. 2 guys in a row that would be so disgusting.

oooops! may namumuong tensyon na dito ah. :D
pahamak talaga tong Year of the Horse eh. naging mainitin ang mga Pilipino.

^AGREE

Ako din, I wanna see what lessons can be picked up from mistresses.  IMO, everyone, regardless of position in life -- has a lesson to share.

The hurdle to sharing appears to be the boastful stance of mistresses/3rd parties -- parang ok lang maka isa sa pagsira ng buhay ng iba.  So, that gets the fences up.
Well, there's a lesson therein too for wives.

Ok, let's see, share ko what I learned from mistresses/3rd parties.

The common denominator is sex.  Sabi nga ng Lolo namin:  Ang bago/ bawal eh Masarap.
So, wives should really have new tricks or keep up a running show of fantasies.
Corollary to the Masarap eh kasi these women may be amenable to doing certain things a husband will not even  dare ask his wife to do. Like  suck his toes? Hahaha. S&M?  Lol

1 thing I gathered too was that  a Husband/BF has a certain image of strength or superiority -- so in his times of self doubt/decline/failure --  he finds solace in someone who will take him, no questions, no expectations, no judgment, no fears.
So, wives should handle their husbands' vulnerability with empathy. Do not add to his stress, to his self doubt, waning confidence etc.

As a man's career/business progresses -- he needs to level up his image, his lifestyle, his skills & capabilities.   The higher up the man is, the more proficient and presentable & sociable his woman must be.  The higher up he goes, the more he needs a Total Performing Wife/ Partner.
So, wives should keep up & level-up too. Not just physically, but also intellectually.  For as a man moves up, his crowd becomes better --  wealthier and brainier.   Kelangan the wife feels comfy with the crowd they leveled up to.

Men are such ego-centric creatures generally. They want to be "appreciated"   Pag taken for granted, or he feels the wife is better than him -- ayan na.  He may look for someone who acts as if everything he says is brilliant, who never contradicts/challenges him.  Someone who is very grateful with the few thousands or gifts he gives her --  tuwang tuwa as his wife when he gave her a new car.
So, wives  should not win battles to lose the war.  (And, lol, sa umpisa lang ok sa mistress to be happy with konti,  later on -- level up to or even surpass the wife's demands yan.  Lol. I bet my 2 ears). ..... (& some husbands, di nila ma gets that "appreciation" is in our taking care of their children, their home, their hard-earned money. Hay buhay )

So there.  That's all I know from mistresses.
I hope mistresses or third parties share -- not their disregard for morality or human-ness; or as a Sis said well:  nagka kalyo na ang konsensya --  but the essence of their relationship (that they too know is improper but they insist on rationalizing).
No judgment! Peace. :).

I'm not defending anyone here, pero minsan dapat natin isipin na hindi lang yung mistress/kabit/3rd party yung may kasalanan. How about the guy? Nakaupo lang ba sya sa isang tabi, then seduce by a girl, tapos boom! Yun na? Of course, we have to think din naman na madalas, sa kanila nagsisimula yung pangloloko.

Very well said iamlily

sa tingin ko most of the kabits are the ones who remind the husband of what their wives used to be -- before being married and having a kid sucked the life out of her.

here's a good read for all wives out there:

How can you be happy knowing your hurting other people especially your own children I can never imagine doing that to my family. My father had several mistresses before and it was one of the most painful experience I had up to now nakatatak pa din sa pag ka tao ko. Well up to now my father is still paying for his sins naawa nga ako kasi his old at may sakit na.

^^^^yan ang post. pop na pop! ;D

i wanna hear more from mistresses o former mistresses.

yung mga nabiktima na, why don't you share your experiences as well?
let's make this a HEALTHY thread. ;)

CITIgirl_04, in your case, if you won't mind, i wanna know HOW, WHEN and WHERE kayo usually nagkikita para di mahuli/mabuking... and gaano kayo katagal nagsasama?  ;)
at kung mararapatin mo pa, paano kayo humantong sa intimacy thing? sa lalaki kasi ang dali magyaya eh, pero for a girl, yung pumayag is another thing. lalo na pag married o committed.
