^ Stayed at Taj once. It was a solo trip so I didn't feel that the room was too small. Everything about it was average. Well, you get what you pay for. If I'm not mistaken, they have two buildings. The older one is closer to beachfront. Very near D'Mall. It's in the same compound as Tans, Namaste, etc.

has anyone tried asking for senior citizen discount when booking?

we're planning to stay in discovery shores for feb of next year. 20%(i think that's the standard senior citizen discount?) is a big discount when applied to their rates. we have 3 senior citizens and 5 suites. one senior citizen discount for each room are huge savings when applied to their rates.

discovery shores did reply that they do accept, but they didn't specify the percentage or the computation.

I read some reviews ng place na di daw maganda ang lock ng room so it's not safe na magiwan ng gamit.

we just recently booked a group of friends sa La Carmela via Boracay Best Deals. 550/person/night so mukhang ok na din. nung nagbayad sila, same day nabigay yung voucher. yung 2nd group naman magbabayad pa lang ng half. they are accredited naman with La Carmela kaya book na din namin. standard room nga lang though. sayang din yung matitipid eh hehe.

^Sa sunshine kami nag check in last time  na nagpunta kme sa Boracay.Ok naman wala naman nawalang gamit.For me safe naman ang lock nila dapat lang alam mo kung paano ilolock kasi mahirap nga mailock ikot ikot kasi  (sliding door) so better check na lang kung nalock ng tama bago kayo umalis.Maganda yung mga bago nilang room.Kaya kung papareserve ka, irequest mo yung new room sa baba.

No idea about fat jimmys pero naka pag stay na kami sa island nook. Ok sya. Sulit for me. kinuha namin family room good for 4, kahit 3 lang kami na nag occupy, laging pang 4 ang breakfast. Malaki yung bed at CR. Malapit sa bank (BPI) at crystal clear (water refill) tapos malapit din sa Dmall at sa terminal ng tricycle. Madali din silang kausap pero matagal magreply sa text... call them para mas ok. Yung rate nila sulit din for me. :-)

just got back from boracay, ok naman ang weather minsan makulimlim pero hindi naman umulan, may konting lumot pa rin sa station 1

Hi! I want to bring my daughter to Boracay this coming January. Any suggested affordable but nice resort / hotel / inn probably in Station 1 or Station 2. Yung tahimik sana. Thanks!

Sur or white house in station 1 is always a good choice.

just got back from boracay, ok naman ang weather minsan makulimlim pero hindi naman umulan, may konting lumot pa rin sa station 1

^free breakfast sa sur tapos buffet pa! Although not everyday buffet bfast. Sa 3night stay namin dun, once lang yung ala carte compli bfast.

Ang hina ng wifi sa sur pero overall nagustuhan ko dun kasi mura na for its location tapos type na type ko yung cabanas nila. okay din naman ang service nila.

Beachfront pa tapos the best yung sand sa part na to ng white beach

Any feedback po sa la carmela de boracay?
Gusto ko kasi mag Boracay pag uwi ko ng august, 3d/2n 4adults and 7yrs old boy saan po ba maganda mag stay?Yung di masyadong pricey pero maganda ang service,safe at me pool. Saka mas ok sana kung beachfront na. Pa suggest naman mga sis..Thanks po
