Ganun din pauwi, 8:30 am flight namin so we need to be there ng mga 6:30 am. Eh mag van pa tapos boat ride, di na kami aabot kung galing kami ng Boracay. What time latest boat ride?

Caticlan jetty is open as early as 5am and last trip is around 9pm

Ako napamahal na ng sobra kakaintay ko ng mas mababa  4083 yung KLO-MNL na namin with PAL Express tapos 5:40 AM flight pa, so mag stay kami over night sa Kalibo.

Ano kaya recommended niyong place to stay? Okay na ba sa Ati Atihan? Swak na sila sa budget namin.

Baka mag stay nalang muna kami sa Kalibo after we arrive kasi di na rin aabot sa boat. Then gising nalang ng super aga the next day. Same with our last day, alis na kami sa Boracay the night before para di ma-late sa flight

I'm still looking for affordable and safe places to stay in Kalibo. Baka may ma-rerecommend kayo. Sang area ba mas okay? Dapat ba malapit sa airport or sa sakayan ng bus/van? Thanks

Arrived here in boracay yesterday, umuulan morning - hapon.. Then nag okay weather, umulan ulit 12am..

Ngayon naman, 10am, parang uulan.. Yikes hehe

This is my favorite place talaga.. Pag titingin ako sand and beach.. lagi ko sabi kay bf, buy kami condo somewhere dito

Mga sis, tanong naman, we have two kids - 5 and 9.  Is it necessary to get a resort with pool or di naman?  Can you recommend resorts with pool na hindi sobrang mahal? meron ba nasa 7-8k per night?

^ sis we got two kids din and mas masaya kapag may pool. kasi minsan they don't want to swim sa beach and feel ng mga bata at times na mas relaxed silang magswim sa pool. eto yung mga may pool na napuntahan na naming hotels na nasa budget range mo

^sis between the two i choose Tides. hehe. yung pool nila nasa roofdeck tapos may bar pa sa baba. as in modern style and hindi mashadong matao. lagi pang may nakaabang na attendant sa may pool area to give you new warm towels.

La Carmela is cheaper than Tides. last i check sa Agoda meron silang 4k for 3d2n stay. parang superior room ata yun kasama na bfast. ok naman sa La Carmela pero feeling ko lang kasi masyadong madaming tao. not just sa hotel but sa beachfront. mas maliit na yung area ba.

Tides Hotel naman merong 3k per night cheapest nila kasama na din bfast dun. the thing i loved most about Tides is that they can upgrade you for free kapag may available room. may free drinks pa sa bar nila for 2. if you know The Hobbits sa D'Mall dun mismo yung location ng Tides so mas madali to look for food, go to Station 1 for the activities, etc. hindi nga lang to beachfront. but yung beachfront area sa tapat ng D'Mall sa kanila yung mga lounge chair (yun ba tawag dun?)

I'm eyeing Tides nga sis eh, kaso sa Agoda  5,274.59 per night na for two persons, yung officemate ko naman na freelance travel agent ang bigay sakin 6,618.70 per night, twin lang yan eh 3 kami baka may additional pa. May 2014 namin balak in time for my birthday

@forumera - sis kasama sila sa Travel Expo this Feb 14 to 16. discounted rates nila dun. and also kapag meron kang CC use it sa Asiatravel or Hotels.com to get 10% discount pag nagpabook ka ng hotel (any destination). BPI kasi 7% lang sa Agoda but 10% sa Asiatravel naman.

hindi naman sila strict sa number of pax dun. yun nga lang, walang bfast yung extra person unless magbayad kayo

^whether you land in caticlan or kalibo, you'll still leave from caticlan port going to boracay.

from caticlan airport, you'll take a 5-min trike to the port, then ride a boat.

from kalibo airport, you'll take a 1.5-2 hour shuttle ride to caticlan port, then ride a boat.
