Currently on Week 8... so behind but it's ok.

Nag-subscribe na rin ako sa Project Life kits from Studio Calico.  And waiting for the midnight kit na hopefully will arrive later this month.

Loving this project so much! nakakaalis ng stress!

Me naman gave up on project life. I felt like I was always stressed and pressured to create and capture the moments. I was always on the look out for something that I can take a picture of and use for project life.

Good thing I did not go on a hoarding spree. Got only 2 core kits which I already gave to my cousin.

Sis  Lovingsue natuloy ba ang Project Life 2014 niyo?

I am enjoying it so much sana tuloy tuloy ito.  Malapit ko na matapos ang week 1.

^ Hi sis. Oo pero monthly na ang pag gawa ko and chinachallenge ko yung sarili ko this year na 6x8 yung album and 1 lang ang magagamit sa loob ng isang taon. Dahil matagal ko na din ginagawa minsan na bbored na ako kaya constantly nag iisip ako ng paraan para di ako mabored.

^^Marchbaby sorry to hear na na-stress ka sa PL.  It can actually get stressful.  I didn't hoard on the kits, but I did bought a lot of embellishments which also doubles as my filofax supplies (if ever I feel like decorating it).  I recently got the midnight core kit, and not planning on getting anymore kase wala na akong magustuhan from the core kits selection.

^Lovingsue, nag-6x8 album ka na? Hindi ba mahirap kase limited space?  I'm actually loving the idea of a 9x12 album.  I think Marcy Penner is doing that, kaso walang available products pa in the market for this. I hope magkaroon kase the 12x12 size is actually too big for me.

Currently at week10.  I still love it.  I don't take photos everyday, but I do take notes in a small daily planner.  If there are days na walang picture, ok lang.  If in a week kaunti lang pictures, ok lang din.  I've read somewhere,, di ko lang matandaan kung saan,  "not every story needs a picture" so yan ang inuulit ulit ko kapag na-stress ako dahil kaunti lang pictures haha!

^sis, I started 2011 (12x12) tapos kalagitnaan ng taon napapansin ko ang bigat bigat ng album so lumipat ako ng 2012 sa 8x11 (2 albums, plus 1 6x8 for december daily) then nag start akong umattend ng mga scrap events and medyo mabigat yung 8x11 kya naisip ko na sa 2013 6x8 kaso wala ako makita na album n maggustuhan ko kaya chinallange ko na lang yung sarili ko last year na isang 8x11 for the whole year kasama na din dun sa album yung december daily. Nagawa ko naman.  this year finally found the album kaya pinush ko na yung 6x8.

regarding sa space, syempre the more bigger yung space ng page potectors the more na marami kang pwedeng ilagay. lots of stuff from your daily life pero habang tumatagal natutunan kung ifilter at  iwasan na gumamit ng fillers. more on photos+stories na lang and even the fillers kailangan connected din.

oo tama hindi lahat ng kwento kailangan may picture. for my Jan-march 2014 spread I only used 4 6x8 page protectors. na compress ko talaga yung kwento.

Kaya mo yan sis. Just enjoy the process.

^sis marchbaby, sayang naman. try to take photos na hindi stage. mappressure ka talaga pag ganun kasi parang hindi natural. Just take photo nung mga normal na ginagawa nyo na hindi mo kailangan pag planuhan.

^thanks sisses. Not now muna siguro. Sa filofax na muna ako and other crafts na na-start ko na. Pero project life is really good. Naoverwhelm lang ako. And as usual, give up na naman ako.

^^Lovingsue I love the 6x8 for travel.  For each place you visit... I think that's what I will do later on.

I really hope magkaroon ng 9x12 album and page protectors.  Yun ang perfect size for me.  I don't do workshops naman kase and here wala namang ganun so far.

Yes I am enjoying the process so far.  No pressures and walang masyadong rules.  I scrap when I feel like it, and if not, walang problema.

it's nice to see a thread about Project Life. i started this year lang and honestly, i am behind! pero i completed weeks 11-14 last night kaya happy ako. konti na lang. there were several weeks kasi na we're on vacation and some weekends that were spent with friends kaya di ko sila natutukan.

pero ok lang if i'm lagging behind. i make sure na i still sort my photos weekly (i do weekly pages) para when inspiration strikes, tuloy tuloy ang gawa. also, i have a small journal to write down moments para i don't get stuck when doing my backlogs.

for weeks na wala ako masyado pictures, i combine it with the previous or following week. like yung week 14 ko, i only have 2 photos, i combined it with week 13 para may representation pa din.

i used to hoard kits pero i stopped na. i have 10 core kits and 3 mini kits saka a few 6x6 paper pads. i split the kits na di ko masyado type and sold them so manageable ang stock ko ngayon. i also have thickers and letter stickers and some embellishments. for journaling, i use ZIG pens. they also have a photo pen that i use when i want to write directly on the photo.
