Sissies i have a question. Oks lang bang hindi na kami maghire ng groom's car and isabay na lang si h2b sa 1 van kasama ang family nya since magkakasama na naman kami sa bridal car after the ceremony? Tia!😊

Yes sis! This is what my brother did during his wedding, sama sama kaming family sa isang van. We didn't do it lang for our wedding and rented a separate groom's car coz hubby's family is big. tapos our son was with him too on the way to church.. Ayoko naman siksikan sila don. :) the best thing that happened though with regards to this, we were just after a black fortuner for groom's car but the owner (a perfect day) offered the Jaguar instead (fortuner is being repaired for air conditioning) with no additional cost! super swerte. so hubby ended up having a white jaguar tapos yung sakin hindi white hehe! 3 hrs rent lang so after ceremony sakin na rin sya sumakay. :)

@sparklingjewel: unfair pero true haha. Na kay bride lang ang attention mostly ng guests hahaha

@belle_v2g: Wow galing! Nice naman sis haha! Di na ko magrent ng 1 pa for him. Aalog alog din naman sila if ever kasi we rented 2 vans na for his immediate family:) Thanks!:)

Ayaw talaga ni hubby ng ibang car. So we'll go for a Cadillac.

i was surprised (and amused) when i found out na meron na rin pala ngayong "groom's car". wag naman na natin ipauso 'to please. lol. the groom just needs a ride from preps to ceremony. for us its from Manila Pen to SSA, parang 10-minute drive lang. very impractical and nakakahinayang pa pag hindi nakuhanan ng photo/video.  :P

fiance is planning to drive his own car. medyo sentimental pa nga siya kasi he wants his beloved car to be a part of the wedding too. o di ba sweet? hehe. if not naman, he'll ride one of the vans that we'll be renting for our families. if that doesn't work out, we've asked our very good friends to pick him up and drive him to the church and they were more than happy to comply. same strategy for our ride going back to the hotel after the reception since hindi na namin ipagsstay ang bridal car.

^Agree wag na pausuhin yan haha dagdag gastos for future brides.  ;D Padami na ng padami ginagastusan for weddings na truth be told, nice to have lang naman.
Kami yung super walang pake sa car kasi we're both just using our personal cars. Ok lang sakin na hindi sya luxury car bec i dont really have one naman :P If matino the car i think it will look just as nice.

Kasabay ba nauso ang Groom's Car sa grooming nila? haha! I've attended a wedding na may ganun nga, tag isa sila ng car :)

I'll be just renting a simple sedan, any car rental sa labas worth around 2k - hahatid lang ako from preps to the ceremony/reception, mga 1hour use lang :)

Groom's Car isn't new :) It's just that most couples forgo this because grooms are normally ok with any vehicle. Usually, mga car enthusiasts lang yung particular sa vehicle ng groom.

BTW, do not let the groom drive. Actually, neither the bride nor the groom should drive on the wedding day. This is iwas stress and if you believe in pamahiin, iwas disgrasya.

The groom's car is not a "pauso" at all hahaha! In our case, we opted to hire one coz walang car si hubby (we reside overseas kaya there's no point buying a car and just leave it in manila.) perhaps, i find it more essential than the other nice to have items na gusto ng brides na super mahal. guess i am just lucky to get a jaguar and only pay P3,500 for it :)

if your photographers are good, they should be able to capture the groom's car too. :) diba gusto naman natin documented lahat ng details. :)

^j.adore, that's exactly what our coordinator told us, not because of pamahiin, but because he doesn't want the groom to get stressed with traffic. :)

I wanted a white car or SUV. Since my fiance's car is a white Fortuner we said early on na yun nalang.
THEN my FMIL had other plans... she borrowed a Benz for me to use from her brother without telling me. Kaso its black! :( I just found out at 2.5 weeks to go. Fortuner will be used for the family members so i cant do anything. Haaayy i hate it when people meddle in YOUR wedding!

sparklingjewel: Oh no!!!  =( =( Personally I have no issue in using  black bridal car naman. Although I can understand why you are hesitant to use the black car. Discuss it nalang with H2B =)

Hello and happy new year everyone!! Back to wedding preps!!

May I ask if anyone can recommend bridal car rentals aside from Don Roberts?

Also how much discount do they give in bridal fairs? Is it worth the effort of going to the bridal fair just to book the car? Thanks!

we got A Perfect Day car rentals. they have limited cars but most of them are new. hindi ko lang talaga bet ang old vintage cars ni Don Roberts.

some bridal fairs have the actual cars on display, they have good discounts there as well. so i think it is worth it, especially if you're still looking for suppliers. madami dun na you can choose from.

Thanks bzbee!! Ayaw ko din vintage car eh. Gusto ko kasi comfy ako hehe and modern cars are still more comfy talaga.

Hmmm my suppliers are complete na kasi eh. Bridal car nalang talaga. so medyo nakakatamad to go to the bridal fairs.

BTW bridal car rental na ba bahala sa flowers for the car? Or if it is the florist? Sila na ba bahala to attach the flowers to the front of the car?
