Hi to all Malate Church brides and soon-to-be MC brides ^_^

I made this thread para makapag chikahan tayo about our chosen church. Especially now na under restoration/renovation ang church natin we need updates from time to time

Some important info for Malate brides:
Personalized vows are not allowed
No vocals, Instrumental only for bridal march
B&G do position A&B in the vow part of the ceremony (A-in front of the altar, B-in front of the guest)
MC gives wedding kit containing all you have to know about the ceremony
B&G need to find 4 readers for the ceremony
MC discourages missalettes and they have approved list of songs for the ceremony

malate chuch bride rin ako. kelan wedding mo? d ba nila matatapos yung renovation bago sa date ng
wedding mo? sa akin kasi next year pa. nakapunta na kami din para mag inquire pero babalik kami next week para mag DP. Hopefully tapos na ang renovation next yr.

hello malate church bride din po ako i think ok lang naman po sa malate church kahit na under renovation pa. very solemn parin naman po sa loob na pag dadausan ng wedding ceremony eh.

Planning to have March 2015 wedding and Malate too.. By 2015 finish na siguro ang renovation.

@ sis C+C, matagal pa pala ng wedding mo sis ako this coming march 2014 na and yet iilan palang yung naayos ko..hehe..yes sis maganda ang exterior view ng malate church bukod pa dun bongga ang aisle nya kaya ramdam talaga ang moment mo on your wedding day..

oo nga sis eh..hindi ko pa po nakuha, actually hindi pa ako nakakapag pass ng requirements sa monday palang hirap din kasi ako lang mag isa nag aayos for our wedding si h2b nasa abroad pa so ma dedelay yung pag pasa namin ng marriage license. anung wedding kit ba ibibigay nila sa akin sis? so far eto palang na accomplished ko eh,, church, reception/wedding prep, photo/video, dresses.. yan palang sis dami ko pa kulang noh?..

@sis gracia_14, aun din nga iniisip ko sis kaya khit under restoration nagDP pdin kme.. wala kasi xang kamukha sa Manila.. gusto ko talaga exterior ng Malate Church ^_^ when wedding mo sis?

hi C+C, nov 2014 pa wedding ko. i hope nga talaga tapos na yang restoration nila sa time ng wedding mo.. super ganda at simple talaga ng malate church.

@ sis gelina, sa citystate tower hotel po reception ng wedding namin.

yes mga sis tama po super strict talaga ng malate church pero i think pwede naman  sa recession yung paghahagis ng petals make sure lang po na lilinisin yun after.

^nasa wedding kit malalaman lahat ng u need to know about the ceremony, mga do's and dont's, list ng songs na approve/pwede, mass modules, roles of your entou, etc
Naku sis, madami ka pa ngang kulang.. pero ok lang,..mas ok din na wait mo na si h2b mo at sabay nyo na tapusin ang mga kulang para bonding nadin

oo nga po sis eh dun me sa requirements sa church matatagalan kung 1 day process lang sana yung marriage license mababawasan worry ko..kasi sa other things na need iprepare sa wedding kaya ko naman ihandle eh mahaba haba pa naman yung time ko to prepare..

^san kayo mag aapply for marriage license, sis? sa Manila City hall mabilis daw

yup sa manila city hall sis.. sa mga nabasa ko kasi sa net 10 working days pa daw ang release.. naka kuha kana ba ng sayo sis?.

^not yet sis.. may 4 months validity lang kasi yun, kaya di pa kame pwede kumuha may gown kana nga pala sis? sino couture mo? or where ka nagpatahi for u and your entous?

ay oo nga pala sis C+C june pa pala wedding mo noh, yung marriage license talaga problem ko kasi kung 10 working days yun bago ma release tapos may pre cana interview pa and seminar for 2 sundays sa malate church di ko naman ma mmeet yung 3 sundays na requirements nila for publication of wedding bans..hay huggardness..

yes sis on process na yung gown ko sa divi lang ako ngpa tahi sa Mae-Miel Bridal Boutique located sya sa fiesta shopping mall..

^ok naman sila kausap sis? lalo na sa schedules?

about kay ms berny..for Bride and Groom only, they charge 6K traditional, 8K Airbrush.
inclusive of unlimited retouch up to end of Ceremony :-)

yes sis ok naman kausap yung gagawa ng gown ko actually sya pa nga ng uupadate sakin regarding sa mga sked.ng fitting and willing din sya mg home service kung type mo mgpa sukat sa house nalang together with your entou. participants.. mabait sya and pwede ka din tumawad..

Napapaisip din kasi ako mga sissies kung ile-let go ko na ba ang Malate Church dahil it's under restoration, or go padin kasi ok naman ang loob ng church??? Nakapag DP nadin kame ng 10k and non-refundable daw  Na-confuse talaga ko, sissies. Pls help.

Last sunday, nagpunta ako dun. nako, may scaffoldings nga sa tabi and sa left side, di mo madadaanan.may net as harang. anyway, i asked when sya expected matapos. it's 2016. so actually, di ko na naging option ito. kasi nakita ko rin sa loob sa bandang likuran e medyo bakbak na yun white paints sa wall unless talagang tinatanggal na nila rin yun

^uu nga sis.. not in good shape talaga ang malate church nowadays we will see kung mag stick padin kame sa Malate, pero so far feeling namin the church chose us.. lol  another options kasi namin are: the manila cathedral--it's close for renovation; St Jude--its not holding thursday wedding; San agustin--madaliaan ang wedding; San Sebastian--di lang namin type ..
