Hello! Ano pinaka okay na brand ng breast pump? I was initially eyeing Pigeon pero sabi medyo may kamahalan daw. How about its quality? Ok lang na mahal for me basta okay naman ang quality. Any feeedback sa Pigeon product? Thanks! =)

Hmmm...Isa pa lang kasi nata try ko, Pigeon pa lang so I can't speak for other brands. As for the price, worth it naman siya. I got my manual breast pump for a little more than 2k lang and may 2 free na feeding bottles na kasi Sale. hehe.Original price yata is 3k plus. As for the quality, matibay naman siya. You can also check their electric breast pump.Marami naman breastpump sa infants section so feel free to ask their sales staff for recommendation. Good luck! ;)

Right after giving birth, you have colostrum. That's enough for the baby as they have tiny tiny stomachs. On day 3-5 saka ka palang magkakaron ng milk. Mine came on day 4. Don't worry, your body will produce the amount your baby needs as long as you don't top up with formula. Trust your body.

Join breastfeeding pinays if you'd like to learn more, read their files there - very helpful yon. Always good to seek help as early as you can.

keep latching your baby. may makukuha yan basta tama ang latch and you feed on demand. they have a stomach capacity of 3-5ml lang for the first few days. sobrang liit. hindi nila kailangan ng marami, kailangan nila ng madalas na feeding. kahit every 45minutes, dedede yan. ang colostrum, the one that comes out first is considered milk already. mature milk or yung milk na nakikita mo lumalabas at kusang tumutulo will only arrive if colostrum has been consumed na. so the key to successful breastfeeding and early release ng mature milk is kapag naglalatch si baby at makuha nya na ang colostrum.

hindi totoong weeks pa lalabas. nasa sayo yan. if you keep latching your baby, if your breasts are constantly drained through feeding ni baby, lalabas agad ang 'mature' milk. remember -- colostrum is also milk.

the measure of whether may nakukuha si baby or wala is not kung may nakikita ka or wala. it's kung may wiwi or poop sya. if meron or marami, then that means marami nakukuha even if wala ka nakikita.

also, join breastfeeding pinays group sa fb. breastfeeding is the best gift you can give your baby. :)
