Nagppump ako every two hours, kase pag lumampas naglleak talaga. Sa first week ko, no choice ako
kundi magformula agad kase nagsugat nipple ko and hindi ko talaga sya mapump kase parehong makirot. After one day, I tried ulit at nakakapump na ako. Good thing nakakapagreserve naman ako ng pang whole night para unte unte wala na ulit yung formula. Nacconfuse din kase si Baby talaga.

When I was still in the hospital, nilagnat ako ng konte gawa nung breast ko super namaga sya at lumaki because of the milk good thing pinilit nung lactation ________ na imassage sya kahit masakit talaga para matunaw at lumabas yung milk ko. Hanggang sa lumambot at mawala na yung kirot at lagnat ko.
Simula nun, naglleak na sya.

Pag nasa ref daw it can last up to 1 week.
Kung freezer up to two weeks.
Kung nasa labas lang 4 hours only.

Kelangan ipump talaga para makapagproduce ng milk yung breast and inom talaga talaga ng liquid para makatulong sa pag produce.

Yung napump ko sa bottle ko na lang pinapadede kay baby para kahit nasa crib lang sya and pag gabi dko na kelangan kunin sa crib nya. Basta importante yung milk ko iniinom nya

Pag pure breastfeed, required daw to take Vitamin D.

hi sis coifishh depende sa breast pump na bibilhin mo, mas mura ang manual pump na kahit anong brand, sa malls (Baby Co.) pwede ka tumingin paassist ka na lang sa sales lady, I think nasa 600-3,000pesos yata ang manual pump, then ang electric you can avail at babymama.com for as low as 3,000 yata.

Yung sakin nabili ko sa babymama - Spectra Handy Plus (manual). 600+ lang bili ko kasi naka sale sila plus delivery charge na 125pesos.

Hi sis Beng01, thanks sa reply!  meron kasi ako nakikita na expensive talaga na breast pump, at meron naman na sobra rin mura, at walapa talaga ko mastado idea regarding sa mga ginagamit, ang alam ko na maganda talaga is avent, yun nga lang super mahal. Tignan ko yung kay babymama.com at baka makahanap pa ko dun na iba pang gamit. Thanks ulit!

^sis it's babymama.ph. Mura lang talaga yung mga manual na pump (maliban sa Avent na 4k+ for a manual pump). I used Farlin before. 700+ pesos sa SM. Maganda sya. Hindi masakit and nakakarami din ako. Compatible for narrow and wide neck bottles. Madalas ako magpump sa work kaya nakakapagod pag manual. So I bought spectra cimilre m1 from babymama. I'm loving it so far. Nakakarami ako sa Farlin pero di ko kasi nauubos yung milk kasi pagod na ko. So ngayon na electric na halos double ang output ko. It's a double electric pump. Less expensive kesa sa mamahaling brands like medela and avent and ameda. 7800 lang sya for double electric na. Maliit din sya unlike the others. Kasya nga sa shoulder bag na maliit. magaan (1 pound lang). Naging factor din sakin yung size and weight kasi araw araw ko sya bibitbitin. Quiet, strong and rechargeable. For me very convenient na rechargeable sya. Konti lang din parts na kelangan linisin, yung pump, backflow protector at valve lang.

Any call center moms here ? 36 weeks preggy . First baby and i want to breastfeed sana . So far sa mga nababasa ko , you need to pump while at work para di rin magstop yung production ng milk right ?! San sa office nyo kayo nagppump ? Definitely hindi sa pantry ! Sleeping lounge ? Sa powder room ? Pls share. TIA !

^ hi sis. I'm a pumping momma. We have expression rooms in our office dedicated to the nursing moms. But since it's far from my work station, I just use the nearest small meeting room.

Everybody in my division knows that I pump every 3-4 hours. You should talk to your supervisor and ask for a convenient place where you can pump, (definitely not in the pantry) if in case your office has no lactation/nursing room.

Mommies, saan po kaya me breastfeeding seminar near pasig area.. kasi gusto ko talaga mag breastfeed for my second baby, inverted kasi nipples ko at wala naman pwede magutro sakin.. ill be gicing birth via cs operation sa january

^ sis check mo medical city. Call their lactation department and ask for the BF seminar schedule. Dun ako nag attend before saka sa medela house.

You can also visit the lactation department and pa check yung inverted nipples mo. I'm sure they will teach you how to do it. Good luck sis!

How do you store your milkies mga sis? I put mine on milk storage bags, 4oz/bag. I have over 120oz of milk in my freezer and i have donated some already. How to you effectively store your milkies while saving space sa freezer? I dont want to buy a chest freezer just for my milk. But its taking over the space for our ulam na waaaaaaaa.

hi mga sis...question ko rin po yan. how do you store milk sa freezer when at the same time may mga ulam ka dun.. pwede lang ba sila magsama dun?

I was supposed to buy small freezer for my BM. But then, wala ako makita na small enough like yung mga meron sa Amazon.. e ayoko ng malaki, sayang sa space.. so now, I store lang sa usual freezer part ng 2-door ref.

About half of the freezer is for my milk, the other half and the small drawers for our food. Yung rack sa door, mainly for breakfast items and for ice packs. Our helper and I now plan weekly menu para medyo sakto lang ang food na nasa freezer. Once a week na din sya magmarket. Dati kasi nahirapan kami pagkasyahin laman ng freezer kaya we decided to have a menu na para yun lang ang bibilhin + a bit of extra.

So far it's working naman for us. I have about 50 storage bags stored flat (3.5oz-5oz per bag). Pag matigas na, I put them in plastic boxes (parang Lock & Lock pero mas manipis) para walang direct contact with the food stuff at para walang smell transfer.

Yung food items, I instructed helper na from market, divide nya per lutuan yung meats, lagay sa plastic or sa ziploc. Yung iba, nasa microwavable containers para stackable, tipid sa space.

Yung stash ko naman na nasa baba (ref portion), nasa pinakalikod na part. Pag sa baba lang, nasa storage bottles nakalagay. Konti lang nasa baba ko, about 5-6 bottles at a time. For madalian times yung nasa baba, pag alanganin if mag-thaw pa. Nasa 3oz-4oz yung laman ng bottles sa baba.

plan ko kasi magbreastfeed, kelan ba ako dapat magstart magtake ng mga supplements? ano mas okay na brand? TIA!

^ di ako sure sis kung me tamang timing talaga ng pag-start. Pero in my experience, I started taking malunggay capsules (Queen Moringa brand) on my 35th week yata yun. Then nung malapit na manganak (starting 37th week yata), madalas na magpaluto ng tinola Mommy ko.

Pagkapanganak, my MIL brought lapu-lapu soup, no veggies, pampadami din daw ng milk. Pag-uwi ng bahay, madalas kami me 2nd ulam na sabaw na me gulay during the first month. Hanggang ngayon, madalas pa din kami nagsasabaw na ulam tsaka veggies din. And lots of water.

Ayaw ni baby magbreastfeed . 

Pinipilit ko siya mag-latch , magsuck naman siya for a few seconds tapos she gets fuzzy and cry na. Sayang naman yung breastmilk and all the nutrients she can get .  Nakaka sad .

12 days . CS kasi ko , hindi kami nakapag latch agad . Few hours after she was delivered , nagpabili na ng formula milk yung pedia.

^^^ palatch ka lang ng palatch, sis.. naninibago lang yan sa lasa at sa lalas siguro ng flow.. tyagaan lang.. sayang naman kasi... after 5-6weeks, pwede mo try pump then feed sa bottle. At least, breastmilk pa din..

Nipple confussion nga yan. What you can do is feed her muna from the bottle, maybe half of what she usually feeds then have her latch on you, that way she isnt too hungry and wont get frustated agad when she sucks on the breast since may laman na tummy niya. Do skin to skin also. Tapos gradually basawan mo na the formula you give her. Patience talaga ang breastfeeding sis. Nakaka frustrate sa simula. You should have gotten a breastfeeding advocate na pedia and ob. Sa st lukes kahit na cs pa they encourage you to breastfeed.

^ true. CS ako sa St. Luke's QC and kahit groggy ako sa recovery room e talagang pinapalatch ng pinapalatch nila si baby sa akin.. hehe..
