Hi mga sis. Pupunta kami ng mga friends ko sa Oslob next week. Meron na bang bus diretso sa Oslob after bagyong senyang? Kasi may nabasa ako na 2 bus ride daw kasi may nasirang bridge.

ayami, Zubuchon at the airport is open 24/7, so anytime is good. Also, there's another Zubuchon close by, that one located in Mactan Marina Mall... and 24/7 open din sila.

vainmode, not too sure about bus rides in general.. never tried riding a bus to go to Oslob, but I can confirm that whenever there are typhoons (big ones) that hit Cebu, there usually is some form of damage to the roads. Nonetheless, they normally are able to fix it ASAP or find alternative solutions. So, depending on what you plan to do in Oslob, you may want to further check with the bus lines once you get here since what is true today about the road situation may no longer apply next week. I know though that a town called Ronda was hit badly, so there is a chance that what you heard about the roads may be true. Wish I could help with more info, but I really don't have a clear picture of what the updates are down South of Cebu.

sis honeybunny yung front talaga ng Cebu are Bohol provinces So I guess pwede siguro? hehe kasi nakatry ako na nagpunta kami ng family ko via boat at yung point of origin namin is yung beachfront sa Talisay City , Cebu hindi sa pier/ferry port. 

additional info about sa damaged bridge sa south ng Cebu, yung bridge sa Siboanga on where people pass in going to Oslob was the one that has been badly damaged. According to DPWH around 70% ng buses and other vehicles can proceed sa normal route in going to the south of Cebu.  So I guess, by the time na pupunta kayo ng Oslob you can have the normal route.

We've been in Cebu a number of times already but never stayed in Mactan except now. We will go to Cebu City, Mactan, Olango Island and Barili.

What's the best hotel in Mactan with a nice beach or pool that's not expensive? What's new in Cebu and Mactan now which we can visit for a 4 days and 3 nights trip?

Scored a piso fare (no fuel surcharge) for our June vacation... Yehey! Itinerary: Nalusuan and Oslob, at kung di naman kalabisan, Moalboal. At dahil sa Mactan kami mag-b-book ng hotel... SUTUKIL! Hehe! good Luck sa amin. :-)

Possible naman itong iti ko, noh mga sis? Though I would expect byahe galore ang mangyayari, keri lang since I'm traveling alone naman. Also considered Moalboal na lang para diretso na sana ako dun from Oslob, pero hindi naman kasi ako diver so baka hindi ko lang din ma-enjoy.

Also, saan may okay na buffet sa city?

melmedrano, sure thing, sis! It's still a long way off, so you have a ton of time to prepare!

ohcmon, yep... considering from Oslob to Camotes, it's definitely going to make you clock in a lot of hours on the road. But, it will be worth it! When you mentioned buffet, there is a lot you can choose from. Like in my case, when I think buffet, here are like my Top 10 Picks:

Another question, how do I go about the whaleshark encounter kung mag-isa lang ako? Will the boatmen have to group me with other tourists na ilan lang din sa boat or ako mismo ang maghahanap ng ka-share ko sa boat?

Another question, would it be worth it to stay overnight sa Oslob? I assume I'll be in Oslob around 11AM so pwede pa ako mag whaleshark encounter, then short tour, tapos balik na ako sa City sa hapon rather than staying there overnight and doing the encounter ng early morning.

^ We've tried staying overnight in Oslob only because we hit the road late at night. So, we got a place for the night then went for the Whale Shark Encounter first thing in the morning. There really isn't a lot to do in Oslob. So, just go then leave after you're done with the Butandings.
