mga sis do u advice na magbook na ba ako ahead of time ng ferry sa oceanjet from cebu to tagbilaran for 2nd week of december kami magttravel. or ok lang na bumili din ng ticket the same day?? iniisip ko lang ko same lang din ang presyo.

^Buy your tickets at least 1-2 days before your departure dates since December medyo peak travel na especially kung papatak ng weekend yung travel dates nyo. Buying on the same day you take your chances na kung makasakay or hindi.

pmartini, take mama squeak!'s advice and purchase your tickets as soon as you can. In fact, if you do know someone in Cebu who can book your tickets ahead, it would be best. Oceanjet kasi normally has promos of sorts. Minsan, when you buy your ticket at least a week ahead of the travel dates, you get a Buy 1, Take 1 deal... so, you only pay one way, but able to get a round trip... they call it a Libre Balik Promo (if memory serves me right).

Sis rocky, thanks for the feedback about Mandarin. Will make sure to pass on the concern to their people. The construction.. temporary lang yun so okay lang, but that lumot experience is alarming.

any feedback on happy mong park? got the recommendation from pex. any recommendations for activities for my 5 year old, i'm planning to stay only in the city and mactan, so places nearby would be highly preferred. tia!

^^at ang lousy ng service sis. imagine, kami lang tao pero uber bagal nila sa resto. yong soup na dapat yon ang inuunang i-serve last na, eh hindi naman dessert yon. nag-ask ako ng manager wala pa daw silang manager. tama ba naman yon?

na-try ko na rin yong sky lounge by blue elephant, sa VIP lounge kami kasi medyo panget panahon & baka umulan. inorder namin roti, kangkong w/ shrimp, chicken cordon bleu. di ako masyadong nasarapan sa food, maganda lang ambience & mura yong beer. so kung gimik lang & tambayan ok sya

^^ purple_girl, Happy Mong Kids Park is not bad at all. Only got to go once since we had a family friend who celebrated their child's birthday there. Anyway, I am not very sure about the cost since it was free as it was booked for the birthday celebration. They've got water slides, some boat rides and bumper cars, too. Seeing that you have a 5 year old, I am sure matutuwa siya there

As for Sky Loungue by Blue Elephant, the food they have there is pretty much the same as what they have at The Walk in IT Park. This restaurant is also run by the same people who run Siam in Ayala Terraces. When you think about it, there are others with better Thai food. Nonetheless, if you wanted a place where you can hang that's out of the ordinary, then this can be among the good options.

will be going to cebu for 3 nights this end of october. we are 2 adults and 2 kids. i am considering quest hotel and castle peak for the 2 nights, then thinking of 1 night stay at mactan hotel with beach area. my kids loved the white sands at boracay so i want them to experience the beach at cebu din. any recommendation for these nice resorts at mactan? would love shangrila of course but its too pricey 11k for one night only. would also love good recommendations where to go around with the kids. tia!

^katabi ng shang yong movenpick, nasa 7,000 deluxe room nila sis. don kami nag-stay 4 nights last january

wag ka na lang mag-expect masyado sa mactan since hindi sya tulad ng boracay na super fine ang sand. artificial lang kasi sa mactan
