^sis, wala pang dates nilalabas ang Shangri-La about their pre-holiday sale here in Manila. But according to their message to me they will be coming out with one soon. Better siguro sis kung i-Like mo their FB page para updated ka with their promos.

we are planning to visit the city for 2-3nights with a big family with children. any recommendation a good rates/sale rates? prefer near Ayala / IT Park. thanks!

^sis try mo itong mga hotels na ito, near lang ito sa Ayala/It Park- Harold's, Cebu Grand Hotel, Quest, Parklane, Mandarin Plaza and Mango Park Hotel.

^^ sis, try mo the center suites. malapit lang sya sa ayala. affordable mga rooms nila. diyan kami nag stay last year

kakabook ko lang ng quest ngayon, para sa oct. 6-9 na stay namin. may special rates sila. 3,100 deluxe room with breakfast. sulit kasi buffet breakfast nila & service kaya fave ko quest

can anyone recommend a cheap but reliable and safe transport service from mactan airport to hagnaya or maya port? mas gusto kasi namin faster way going to bantayan and/or malapascua kaya baka di kami mag bus.

My mom is in quest now. Okay naman daw ang quest. I was asking her to buy yung original lechon belly sa Maxwell. Ano pang mgandang pasalubong na within the area lang mabibili?

Small hotels, but good choices.
Golden Prince and Wellcome are both walking distance to Ayala Centre Cebu.
St. Marks, short ride lang to Ayala.

Sis witch_goddess and chubbycheeks, thanks for your suggestions, will definitely check out HK Resort. I checked their rates, mura lang pala sila. Hopefully they are affiliated with Agoda and accepts credit card payments. 

I love Quest Hotel, their rates are good and that's including an extensive buffet breakfast na. The only thing I don't like is buwis buhay kami lagi kapag natawid going to Ayala. Sana they already made an overpass this time para safe naman sa mga tumatawid.

^ Nope. You still gotta cross the same way. It's best to cross under the flyover area...less scary

question lang.  how far is bounty beach to logon beach in malapascua?  or same shoreline lang ba sila, tipong white beach and diniwid beach ng boracay?

thanks sis! Wellcome replied in my email inquiry. but i think we'll choose the golden prince since it has a room with 2bedroom inside which i'm more comfortable than two adjacent rooms.

also, how about castle peak? vs golden prince? tia!

Tough choice. Since we know the people who run Castle Peak, so I would say Castle Peak --- And I think, Castle Peak will be mas mura than Golden Prince. However, since Golden Prince is a mere walk away from Ayala, then location-wise, mas okay siya. Either way, it should be okay Depends really on what your priority is... location versus cost. Also, Castle Peak has newer rooms (though the old ones remain) because they renovated eh.

^yes sis, i'm comparing the two rooms of castle peak vs the 2bedroom suite of golden prince. 1k plus diff cheaper ang castle peak.  the only plus that golden prince in their room is it has a living room, kitchen and dining than the two deluxe room of castle peak.

btw sis, is it true na may construction beside golden prince? i read in the reviews na may ganung reklamo. not sure lang if it's latest.

added point sana if with a pool. wellcome has a small pool, but they quoted us mga 4k higher than the golden prince.

^ Most likely talaga mas mura si Castle Peak. They've always have that strength - cost efficient. The question is, do you really need the living room, kitchen and dining area? I am thinking that you will be spending a ton of time outside of the hotel, so baka di niyo rin magamit.

There's a construction on-going somewhere close to Golden Prince. I have no idea if it ever causes disturbance in Golden Prince... ang alam ko lang meron and it's on-going.

For a little more than Golden Prince, you may want to check out Mandarin Plaza Hotel. May pool sila
