I inquired from Shangrila Mactan for their promo rate as mentioned by mama squeak.  Nasa 7k++ ang lowest rate per night.  Mura na yun no?

^sis if you're here in Manila wait for their pre-holiday sale. They informed me na they will be announcing the dates soon. They just had their Paradise Rush sale in Cebu last weekend. Double Rooms can go as low as 6.5K nett. Cheap na considering their day tour rates are 3K ba or 3.5K per person?

Anybody been to Moalboal? We will be going there first week of January and we're clueless where to stay. We prefer to stay an area malapit sa bayan where we can go around and look. Ayaw kasi namin sa sobrang layo sa happenings kasi we easily get bored  . Price is also an issue. Maximum per night that we want to spend in a room is 3.5k. It doesn't need to be luxurious but at least with an a/c. I would appreciate your replies mga sis. Thanks.

^ hi sis! I've been to Moalboal 2-3 times na. Madaming cheap accommodations dun, pasok sa budget mo. Accessible naman yun bayan by trike pero parang there's nothing to do there. Better go to Bantayan kasi may strip sila na may mga restos and there are more activities, I think.

^^ Moalboal has a lot of options for resorts and that's pretty much all that you do Not much happening unless people also party from their respective resorts.
We used to check-in either at Ravenala or Club Serena.
Though there's a lot of others naman.
Try to check out Hale Manna also.

Thanks for your replies sis chubbycheeks and insanelypurpleprincess. We're not really into gimiks  but we just like to walk around and explore. Sa akin nga basta me massage lang solb nako. Hehe. My bf is a tech diver so moalboal is a must-see for him yun nga lang after his dive gusto namin maglalakad lakad. We spent 4 days in Malapascua before and we enjoyed it naman. Another question, are there also v-hires from moalboal to cebu city? Thanks again in advance  .

^^ Always a pleasure, ^Vain_Chiq^. Ah, there shoreline in Moalboal is good for long walks & just chilling. As for the massage service, I have never done it in Moalboal. Naging busy sobra sa kaka-swim... Never got around getting a massage. Haha! As for the modes of transportation to go, I have zero working knowledge when it comes to commuting. We always drive kasi, so I will be a very bad source of info when asked this question.

@ ^Vain_Chiq^: sis there is also a cheap yet good accommodation in Moalboal, it is called HK Resort, I don't know the rates kasi nilibre kasi kami ng kasamahan ko I suggest sis you stay around Basdako kasi para sa akin mas maganda ang shoreline nila at sunset kompara sa Basdiot. Hehe May mga V-hires naman sis kaso lang madalang ang dating. 

@galadriel: sakay kayo ng jeep na may 17b or 04c na route. Pag sumakay kayo sis, make sure na yung signage na nasa harapan ng driver, ay may nakasulat na Cathedral, Sto. niño etc.

ang prob sa v-hire hangga't hindi napupuno hindi aalis. kaya dati ilang oras din nasayang namin. bus, siguro 30 minutes lang waiting time, ok lang kahit konti laman at aalis talaga sya. yon nga lang hindi ka rin sure kung ordinary or aircon ang naka-sched

uwi ako next week sa cebu with hubby. then nov, moalboal uli kasama snorkeling team friends

Sis ^Vain_Chiq^, nakapag-stay na din ako sa HK Resort that sis witch_goddess recommended. Value for money sya. 2 years ago, we got an aircon room for 2,500. 5 kami in a room, 2 double beds ata. Basic lang yun room as expected sa price pero malamig naman yun aircon and malinis yun place.

hi sisses, we'll be going to cebu din sa march. plan namen is to go to oslob, sumilob, tumalog then moalboal after. any suggestion kung san pa pedeng pumunta sa cebu? gusto ko kasi me activity or ok na ang moalboal? ive been to bantayan island na din.

^^ Aside from the beach trips and sight-seeing, Cebu is really a food haven. So, I'd say, food trip in the city!!! Or outside the city. Basta, food trip!!!
