^ Wow! I seriously assumed that Rosquillos is everywhere. Like my Mum hails from Davao City and whenever we go, we don't bring Titay's anymore because it's in the grocery stores. Well, we kinda still do pala kasi our Granma insists that we get her stuff from the factory.. So, we do her that favor all the time. Yup, Zubuchon will surely make you happy. Same goes for the choco covered dried mangoes

the price for the choco covered dried mangoes is 745.00 for the cebu best brand. now i am torn if i would still buy it or not. but the zubuchon is non negotiable. we requested 2 kilos for this. i love sinigang na lechon & i would like to try if it tastes good with zubuchon.

as for the fish tocino, she said 1 kilo is too much. she got the danggit and dried squid for me too... hehe

hi sisses, ask ko lang po if crimson is also child friendly. i'm considering na dun na lang mag stay instead of shang gawa ng voucher sale nila sa travel expo. thanks!

i hope i wont sound bad or what pero i read in a blog somewhere that you can haggle the price of danggit and other dried fishes if you buy in bulk. i requested for almost 4 kilos of dried pusit, danggit and fish tocino. she said na she got the pusit for 650/kilo while the danggit and fish tocino is 550/kilo.

aside from me, may nakisuyo rin sa kanya. more or less she would be buying at least 10kilos of dried items. pag ganun mga sis di ba the price of the items are quite negotiable? siguro naman kahit 50/kilo mababawasan sila di ba?

she bought half of what i requested sa mga dried items kase it was expensive daw.
hindi ko alam if malulungkot ako or what... may attitude kase siyang sinungaling eh. pati mga kasama ko na nakisuyo rin pala (all the while i thought ako lang nakisuyo) eh nagcocomplain bat ganun raw mga prices. hay.

^^definitely kung sa palengke ka makakahaggle ka ng husto. Pero kung ako yung makikisuyo lang ibibigay ko na sa kanya yung matatawaran nya as her service fee. Plus kung wala syang sasakyan with 10kgs na bitbit na nangangamoy pa taxi ang bagsak nya. Mahirap din kasi mag commute to tabo-an kung saan mura mga dried seafoods.

^wala naman po kaseng problem sana kaya lang ang dami lang nagtataka sa kanya. she will not commute po kase may car service siya dun + pa 1 assistant from cebu. okay lang yung "service fee" kase may pasuyo pero half of everything is quite unfair.

tapos  her sister in law na kasama siya posted on her facebook wall that she was so good at haggling kaya she got dried items for a good price. nag-appear sa newsfeed namin ng mga kasama ko.

^baka tinubuan nya na yon sis kasi nga naman hassle talaga magbitbit. sa office, hindi ko sila sinasanay na magpabili sa kin. kasi yoko talagang mag-check in ng bagahe. dagdag iisipin pa yan, instead na masaya kang namamasyal eh iniisip mo yong mga pinapabili syo kung kelan mo maisisingit sa itinerary. pag wala lang talaga ako masyadong bitbit then nagdadala ako ng dried mango, otap or lechon

^^sis yung Php550/kg for danggit for me is okay na kasi going prices ngayon na wet season is from Php500 to 600/kg. Mas mura kung during dry season (wag lang during Lenten season) kung saan makakuha ka as low as Php450/kg.

By the way, I got these prices from both my colleagues in Cebu and my cousins there for comparison (just texted them). They're not familiar with the prices of the pusit kasi bihira sila bumili kasi medyo may kamahalan daw talaga.

i do not find anything wrong with a service fee or tubo. but i think half the price of an item is unfair. kakalungkot lang.

yes i think they are kid friendly din kasi may kiddie room din sila. But bigger pa rin daw ang sa Shang.

^ Shang is definitely still more kid friendly than Crimson. Not just facilities-wise for kids, but the resort lay-out in itself. Though the pool area for kids in Crimson is also nice

ysa.belle.. the prices provided to you is quite fair. Mas expensive talaga the pusit. If you wish for a greater discount, you need to at least commit to buy over 5 kilos usually.
