^^ mamasqueak! Gotta love Abaca for everything. Awesome choice of venue for celebrating milestones. Shangri-La indeed is a regular staple even for us here based in Cebu. Others who are quite up to par in terms of customer service would be Movenpick and Crimson. Only thing I noticed with Crimson... feeling mo you are in Korea town since a great chunk of their guests are Korean.

^gusto ko rin service ng movenpick, room, beachfront & pool. kaso sayang di namin masyadong na-enjoy ni hubby nong january dahil sa bagyo. 4 nights kami nag-stay & nakakasawa breakfast nila, yon at yon lang talaga. di rin worth it yong cocktail sa VIP lounge, mas gusto ko yong sa radisson sulit talaga

^ We usually just stay a night in Movenpick, so di pa umaabot sa point that I would say na paulit ulit ang breakfast. Just the same, I love it! And it's so cool and relaxing just hanging out at Ibiza and enjoying their drinks.

^thank you insanelypurpleprincess and rocky! My dad kasi is asking for CNT as pasalubong. Sabi niya wala ka nang bibilhin sa Cebu kundi lechon.  Haha! He also asked me for Villalonga chicharon. I googled it sabi sa may palengke daw ito. Need pa ata magtaxi. Pero sa mga nagbebenta ng  pasalubong meron ata. Any idea where I can buy it? So far Magellan's Cross lang ang naisip kong puntahan. 3d2n lang kami so wala na kong ibang idea pa. Any suggestions? We'll be there Feb 13-15. Sakto sa Valentines.
 
 
I love salty kaya OK ang CNT siguro. never tried it kasi. May nagpapadala pag Xmas ng lechon cebu sa min pero hindi naman CNT. I read about Zubuchon and gosh gusto ko matikman yung monggo with lechon kasi I love monggo LOL! Will consider the stuffed squid. Curious din ako sa Kamias shake nila which best compliments their lechon daw. Excited na tuloy ako hehe

^There's a Zubuchon restaurant near the airport right at the lobby of Island Stay Mactan. That's where we usually have our fill of Zubuchon when we're at Shangri-La since malapit lang no need to go to their Mango ave branch. They also have a stand alone stall at the airport pre-dep area so pwede ka mag-hand carry pauwi.

Yup, I like their Kamias shake. Basta nasa Cebu kami food trip talaga ang dating.

Sis, just buy Ayer's lechon right outside the airport entrance. Pwede ka mag check in muna then just go outside to buy. Mainit pa yun lechon and they chop it in front of you. P500-P600 per kilo. Just not sure what time it opens. Pretty sure na closed pa around 7am.

Always a pleasure, sis kristinebarrios. If your Dad wants CnT, bring him CnT. Villalonga chicharon on the other hand, I am not to sure since I haven't been buying that brand for pasalubong. Pero if it says na meron sa market, then it should be there. Didn't notice this in grocery stores eh. When you go see Magellan's Cross, that's hitting two birds with one stone. You also get to see Basilica Del Sto Niño Cebu because the church is right at the back of Magellan's Cross. Warning lang, since you're coming on the 13th, that's a Friday. Pinaka maraming tao sa church and it that area in general pag Friday dahil most number of masses kasi si Friday. Though if you intend to attend mass, Friday would be the best since you have so much options for mass schedules. Just attend the ones in English kasi some time slots done in Cebuano. Valentine's day for sure mega traffic, so best plan ahead what you want to do talaga. Also, make prior reservations if you would like to go on a date sa 14th Puno everywhere, so best to plan ahead for this also.

As for CnT, go try! Zubuchon also maraming stuff to choose from, so go for it! At least, since naka plan ahead ka, you should be okay. You did say you wanted to do the Skywalk sa Crown Regency, so that's an activity na. Within Crown Regency, you can also do their other activities, so check out stuff online to see the options. You may also want to consider going to the Taoist Temple, everyone pretty much goes, at least once. You just have to plan ahead kasi getting a cab to go there is easy, it's leaving the Taoist Temple that can be quite challenging kasi matagal ang wait time for cabs. Very seldom na may pumapasok. Other than those, others medyo malayo na. So if you want to go food trip, super daming options. Depending on what you like, super dami akong suggestions. Also, if you're into thrill and driving, you can go Go Karting also, just check ahead if open sila kasi minsan they use the place for competitions. Super fun if you've never tried before.

As for the location of the Zubuchon, mama squeak's suggestion to go to the Escario Branch is great. So look for Escario Central, it's the very first stall on the right and tapat siya ng 7-11 so it's impossible to miss. While you're at Escario Central, you may also want to try a locally-owned milk tea place called Bubble Bee Tea House, they have dessert crepes aside from milk tea. There's also Cafe Sarree where they serve great meals and awesome dessert, too!

May kainan ba mismo sa Mactan Airport? Kelangan kasi kumain muna kami bago mag-lantsa sa Oceanjet para di hassle sa amin. Dala ko kasi yung baby ko.

^ Yes,  there is. If you mean to eat though upon arrival, you have to go up and check out the strip of restaurants available. Not the best place to eat though since it's not very yummy and can be kinda pricey. Your alternative is to eat someplace closer to the Ocean Jet pier or you can also opt to eat at the fast craft terminal instead

sis daveigh, hindi nga masarap mga kainan sa airport & pricey pa. sa oceanjet parang wala din gaanong kainan. may chowking don sa save more, mas ok na siguro yon. from airport sakay ka lang ng yellow multicab, labas lang ng gate ng airport. though depende na lang kung anong oras dating nyo, baka kasi sarado pa yon

Thanks sisters. 9AM dating namin eh, malamang bukas na mga kainan pero di ko recall yung savemore. Paligid kasi ng oceanjet pier 1 is yung fort san pedro di ba? Iniisip ko lang yung asawa ko kawawa naman kabibitbit ng gamit hahaha... though naka-trolley naman kami. Iniisip ko lang pinaka-less hassle.

Edit: Magbaon na lang kami ng jollibee tapos kainin namin sa Oceanjet area para mas madali.

Alam ko meron din makakainan sa mismong terminal ng Oceanjet. Just no idea lang kung okay but kung pantawid gutom baka pwede ng pagtyagaan.

You have the option to really just buy your Jollibee before you fly or you can also opt to go drive thru in a Jollibee or McDonald's on then way to the pier. Your best bet would be the Jollibee in Parkmall since that is on the right side of the road going to thr pier. Pag McDo kasi or the other North Recla Jollibee, na sa opposite side of the road so kelangan niyo mag U turn.
