^^I feel gor you sis. Hindi ko man dinaanan yun dinaanan mo na may third party I fully understand what you are going through.

Why am i saying these? Kasi ang naisip ko kahit anong problema bilang mag asawa basta mahal nyong dalawa ang isa't isa, malalagpasan at malalagpasan nyo. Sa mga nangyari sa marriage ko hindi ko akalain na magkakabalikan pa kami at nagkaka unawaan na kami ngayon though marami pa ding magkaiba sa mga pananaw namin sa buhay pero we understand each other.

Cheer up sis! Lilipas din ang lahat ng yan. Lagi mong i visualise yung kind of family that you want, para doon sumunod yung buhay nyo.

Sis MAMANENG  -- I am very serious --  you can make a good amount of money from that software you used on the phone.  Be open to it --  opportunity knocks only a very few times. This is the silver lining behind your dark clouds.  What money you make out of this --  don't tell your husband.  Use it for your secret account -- every woman has a need for such ( though some deny it to death, hahaha).

Going back to your husband --  it is really hard to trust again. I know, I have been there.

Actually, you can't control what your husband will do.  Nothing you do on your part is going to stop him from doing what he wants to do.  (Even if you jump off  Guada Bridge daily. ) He may choose to be monogamous or unfaithful.  No one can predict.  All you can do is hope & pray.

But you can do a lot for yourself.  That's what a lot of troubled women miss.  The emotional upheaval sure can make some of us stip1d, extremely stup1d. I am not saying so you are, as some we are or some we were once upon an effing time.

A betrayal is a slap from The Universe or The Higher Being we believe in --  a slap to remind us that we were not created to enslave ourselves to another.  We were created to make the most of what we are, and to be happy.

Now, if one has a husband/partner/Significant AHole  that upsets the order of our lives...another person that distracts us from advancing ourselves... Another person that siphons the joy out of our lives ...  We should not transform ourselves into martyrs.  (Martyrs are passé.  Even madres nowadays are proactive -- they no longer just kneel & pray. ).
We should not look at the relationship/marriage as a Life Sentence. Baket, na judge ba tayo as deserving of a Life Sentence? Really?!
Look at the AHole as not a Life Sentence but as a mere obstacle.  What do you do with obstacles?  You act to remove it or get away from it.

Now, if I were in your shoes.
Darling, Boink! Ko myself out of my self-imposed misery & make money out of my fantastic software that can retrieve even deleted photos.
I will make money and hide it from all.
I will finish my training/whatever academic challenge is in front of me to ensure the establishment of a career.
I will not be crippled by hurtful thoughts of his past betrayals, broken promises & kapalmukz.  Instead I will focus on MY future & financial independence.  Nothing beats having the Last Laugh, remember.  And there is no better revenge than living a beautiful life.

Love cannot be forced. Yes, true.  BUT Lovee can be found elsewhere, again & again. From kids, family, friends, strangers...  Sabi, if you can't beat them, join them.
Pwes, be like your chronic liar of a husband. Earn your own money & be open to love.  He thinks he will find a better love each time he effs someone new -- well, there you go. Don 't go effing around, but be open to the idea that should this relationship die -- Love can be found again.  Hwag ka maniwala sa sabi sabi there is only 1 True Love in a Lifetime. Mas accurate yung: There is only I True Love for a given moment/time.  If people change, pwes love can change.

I am not saying you walk out of your marriage, etc etc.
No one can tell you to end it. Coz no one can say how long you can hope; how much you can suffer;  and how hard you can pray; nor how long you can wait for a miracle.
But we can validate the red flags you have seen, or sense. We can advise you to give it your All, until your heart grows tired.  Best you give it your All but set a Deadline.  Just saying.

In the meantime, take care of yourself.  Do whatever you can to give yourself "insurance". Hahaha. Darling, you can think better than that.

1 more thing: do  NOT be lulled into false security na hindi nya ever pagpapalit ang pamilya nya sa mga effs nya.
Hwag ka pabobola.
There are many ways to leave a family behind.
Some men, they go home to their wives every night, but have long ago psychologically abandoned their marriage. Dis-connect.
Is money enough to keep a woman or family going? IMO, we deserve more.
Yan ang problem of some:  Paying such a high price for a little pork.  Hahaha. Please excuse my French.

So there, take care of yourself.
You should be getting a lot of PM inquiries by now.
Go! :D.

Oh god, I so heart your comments, kung may follow button ka lang, i'll be the first to click it.  ;D
Now of all things you said above, tinira ko talaga yung "slap" comment na sinabi mo, i know in my heart that in the future i'll be needing to hear this again and again in my head.

My current BF is also a Seaman and I'm well aware of the horror stories that we all seaman GFs and wives dread to hear. While I do trust my partner na wala syang gagawin na makakasakit sa akin, I also know that he's not perfect. Somewhere between Italy and Spain, i know may possibility na magloko sya.

Before him, I was once a "victim" of a cheating partner. [textspeak!] una since very little ang alam ko sa affair, pinatawad ko sya ng ganun ganun lang. The second time I learned about it, he was having an affair with a married  woman, I opted to kick him out of my life, for good. Sometimes, cohabitation is a blessing. At least I don't have to go through an annulment.

I also agree with what you said about future and financial independence. Any woman who has them can just up and leave the  Ahole of a husband/partner and live their life free from all this bullcrap. Hep hep Hooray talaga for gilr power!

IMO, no use in crying oneself to sleep over a cheating husband. Sabi nga, if another woman tries to steal your husband, the best revenge is to let him have her.

Time out ka muna sis. No use on dwelling on the past, sarili mo rin lang kasi pinapahirapan mo eh.. di ba? You may say better said than done but really, you can control what needs to be done. Just do it.  ;)

I can relate to what you are going through Mamameng.  I'm also going through a cheating husband mas worse pa nga sa akin kasi nag kaanak sila although LDR kasi nasa pinas Kabitch at kami naman nasa US I also forgave my husband for the sake of my 2 kids.  My husband did promise to stop talking to the kabitch but will support the kid financially and he wants to start over.  He also cancelled his long distance service but I'm still contantly looking behind my back. Ang hirap hirap at ang sakit sakit sometimes I'm ok sometimes I would just burst into tears a lot of prayers help.

Just to let you know though hindi rin ako martir at I have plans din in case I find out tuloy pa rin sila ni hubby will be kicked out of our house buti na lang the house in in my name binili ko nung single pa ako then when we got married I never added his name to the title.  I have also stopped wearing my wedding ring because I don't think I trust him yet at saka baka may ma meet din akong guy kasi dito karamihan ng mga guys pag may suot na wedding ring and girl off limits na sa kanila o di ba may plan B ako  :)

Sis XHIEN, yes, nothing hurts as  much as a Betrayal.
Hard as it is now, this too shall pass.

What is critical is you don't lose your head now.
Do not add on to your losses, nor complicate your life more.
Mas  mahirap if makita  mo 1 day  na maliban sa asawa mo eh may problema ka sa work/finances mo, anak mo, health mo, etc etc.  So: Stop, Breathe, Pray for Divine Guidance, & Think.

As in, hwag mo dalhin your heartbreak to your work.  More than at any other time, it is NOW you must not put your work/career in danger.  Get a hold of yourself: do NOT cry in the workplace.
Do not let your heartbreak spillover to your child too.  Kahit na baby pa yan, ma absorb nya your heartbreak & confusion.

Stop asking: pano nya nagawa yon sa baby mo at sa yo?
Darling, so what's new? Men have effed over more than their families for another woman. Or have  effed their wives over for lesser/no  reasons. Ika nga: for reasons/rationalizations only they know.....
Do not start doubting your worth, your importance to him, etc... In short, hwag mo bugbugin sarili mo.   He is the 1 with the weak character.  Sya yung bumigay.

As for the kab1tch, if she texts/calls again to harass you --  tell her to come over & tell you whatever. Then cut the line, and do not react ever to what is technically, just a cellphone.
IMO, it is not productive mag bastusan kayo ng hindi harapan.
Tell her to come over nga, & require your husband to be there too. Dyan mo malalaman what's true;  dyan mo malalaman your husband's positioning.  Dyan mo malaman if your husband is the man you thought he was.

If she comes over, yung tapang mo sa cell -- gawin mo harapan.  Hwag ka aatras --  hwag ka paaapi.
But do not become a cheap b1tch palengkera like  her ha. No man is worth fighting for that way.  Sya and your hubby ang cheap, never you.

Hmmm...  the way I see it, sya yung taguilid.  Maybe linoko sya ng hubby mo na estranged kayo, na he will leave you for her.... Eh naiinip or duda  na si kab1tch  so -- force the issue.  She is hoping you will help her get what she wants:  that you  throw your husband out for her to pick up.
Or, the affair is over & her blah blah blah is your hubby's payback.

Love cannot be forced.
Accept that.
The sooner ma gets mo yan, the better for you.

If he wants to go, let him.  Pero tell him: hwag mo isipin na forever open ang door for you pag you decide to come back.
XHIEN, better you know NOW, habang bata bata ka pa. Mas mahirap yung araw araw you are tortured wondering: "happy pa ba sya? Happy pa ba ako?  Linoloko pa ba ako? Will he come home tonight? " Susko, you will age before your time.

More than at any other time, it is NOW you have to love yourself & be strong for yourself.
Hwag mo say pinag lalaban  mo your marriage.  That is just a contract.
Better you say pinag lalaban mo what you & your child deserve: a fully committed & loving husband & father.
If this husband of yours cannot deliver his part of the Contract, bakit mo pahihirapan sarili mo & your child na makuha sa kanya what he can no longer give, or does not want to give na?
Como nag iba sya eh magtia-tiaga ka and just surrender to accepting less than what you deserve? (Translation: consolation prize, hindi bobo.).  Mali ata yon.

If your hubby says ganon nagawa nya kasi ganito ganyan ka.
Take a long hard honest look.
O sige, there is room for improvement.
BUT STILL, that is not enough reason for him to betray you.  He should have told you & you 2 worked it out.

So, Sis XHIEN --  stop crying, though very justified to do so.
Clear your head & think how you  will come out of this mess the Winner.

the best ka talaga sis aquacharly..
Ako din paadvice:
Naikwento ko na story ko sa kabilang thread about my husband and his officemate textmate affairs. Or worst nagmomotel).. Please enlighten me sis

SIS SHAKESHAKE:

The first step to moving on is ACCEPTANCE, that  Sh1t happens even to the Undeserving.  Women by nature have such a ginormous capacity to love, hope, suffer and wait... kaya tayo ang kadalasan nasasaktan.

But once hurt, we should gather ourselves, and stop blaming ourselves.  (Maliban na lang if the woman is the 1 who made kaliwa.  I am not referring to you ha SHAKE2)
Do not doubt yourself. No, do NOT go there; you do not deserve that.

So, Accept.
Then gather yourself.
Then, pray to God or the Higher Being you believe in, to give you clarity of mind and courage....  so you will be able to do what is best for you.

Yes, it hurts, but it is not the end of the world.
Do not see it as a Rejection, even if he was the one to leave you.
The thing is, you would not have left him coz hindi mababaw your love for him.  You are the 1 between the 2 of you who had the capacity to truly love, give more, and work more to make your marriage work out.   Marriage is work, it is not a Bahala-na-si-Batman thing after all.

You will gain wisdom from this painful episode.  And such you will put to your good use.
So, just take it 1 day at a time.  Pull yourself up, Sis.
Living is not about just 1 man.

Sis ANKYNEMD   I really can't say I am in a position to advise.    I just share my own experiences as well as those of others close to me,  at baka makatulong naman sa ibang going through trials.   Been there, suffered too... we are all sisters, we should have empathy for each other.  :D

Ok,  Sis the bad news is an office romance is the hardest to end, IMO, coz there is legit cover to make it go on and on.
The good news -- it is the easiest to buko,  coz they get careless --  people around them see and talk.  Or, 1 fine day, someone due to grr or conscience prick -- will share the info with you, anonymously.
It's a small world, MMla.

IMO, your husband and si Kiri (excuse my preferred label) went out, just the 2 of them.
The versions do not match.
There is a named face, attached to a live body, magkakilala kayo eh...   Masakit man isipin eh -- nakatuwaan nga nya kasi baka nga patuka yung Kiri.

And he flat out denies they went out, even as part of a group.
Si Kiri naman, she  told you they did go out, but as part of a group.
Well, criminals pag hindi makalusot eh di ba admit to the lesser crime.  So, IMO -- lumabas sila na 2 lang sila.

Did they go far enough for Kiri to share the insides of a motel with your hubby?
I can't say.  Ikaw mag assess -- sa degree of harutan nila sa texting nila.
Ma sense mo yan, how far they went... but do NOT be paranoid ha.  Hindi na productive yan by now.

BUT if I were in your shoes, hindi ko na isipin pa yan, que nangyari man or hindi.
Kasi ----  Where you are now, Sis, is the difficult place called The Undetermined or The We Will See place.  Hindi talaga ma-say yet  if your husband will stay true or ayon, maghanap uli ng lalandiin.
What you can do is hope and pray he will continue henceforth to be a Good Boy.

AND -- you both talked about it and both decided that was The End of that, and move on kayo.
AND --  of course, you will give him another chance to prove he is trustworthy. Mrs ka eh, hindi ka 1 night stand pokz, so talagang you have the power to give him 1 or more chances.
SO -- go with the flow ka lang.  Hwag na hwag  ka look for mamaws or bring yourself back to The Past with Kiri there -- that is not good for your physical and mental health, Sis.
At hwag na hwag ka mag nag. Hindi ka ang contravida dito, so do not nag.

Ano ba talaga realistically okay gawin mo NOW?
1st nga, TRUST  him again.  Relax...  OO mahirap, I know.  But you just have to do it.
2nd,  Live in the NOW.
3rd, Always be your BEST.  Sis -- que with or without a man, you owe it to yourself (we all do, owe it to ourselves) to be your Best as much as you can  24/7.
Do that: Trust;  live in the Now; be your Best -- and let the chips fall where they may.

If Sh1t happens, it will happen nga, even to The Undeserving.  Whatever will be, will be.
But see, what will  comfort you should Disaster strike is that --
Hindi ka caught flatfooted.  Being at your Best is sure to land you somewhere you can take care of yourself.  You will not find yourself Helpless.
You will have no regrets kasi at your Best, you surely gave it your All.  If he still turned traitor on you, pwes he is dumb to not know or appreciate your worth.  Ganon lang yon, Sis.

So be optimistic.
Pray that you get the Love you deserve.

Parang after all the days, months, or years na niligawan ka... they promised to you the moon, the stars, and even the sun... tapos he even gets to say "I do" sa wedding ceremony... tapos in the end he will cheat on you... He is capable of hurting you... behind your back... Why?

Bakit nila kayang lokohin ang "woman of their dreams"?

I'm just wondering...

I've been there... my husband has done that...
I've forgiven... but I can't forget

thank you sis aquacharly for your detailed advice. Sobrang thank you. What i do is hinanap ko fb ni kiri at ng husband niya.
At alam kong alam niya ibig kong sabihin.
