one more question, i've booked a family room for 4 at ymca. but at the last minute me isa pang sasama sa amin. i asked ymca for an additional bed sa room namin. di na daw pwede. pwede bang di ko na lang ireport na 5 na kami. based kasi sa pics kasya naman kami na 5 sa room. we're all slim naman kasi.  are they very strict? masisita ba kmi?

We have just ended our rainy season, so it it sunny here on most days.
Light showers usually end within 15 minutes, so don't worry about weather disrupting your plans.

Lunch- san masarap maglunch malapit sa area?
2pm - sea aquarium

Day 4
8am- travel to sg zoo
Lunch - san masarap maglunch dito sa zoo?

Day 5
9am - shopping at changi city point mall (paano magpunta dito?)
2pm - orchard road para mag window shopping kasi sa mga nabasa ko puro branded dito and for sure hindi namin keri yun.
4pm - city tour

^^thanks for the reply. I'm familiar with the eu's regulations on luxury items purchased by tourists but I have no idea with sg. Though it's not my first time to travel to sg yet it will be my first time to buy designer bags if ever. sg prices on branded items are way cheaper than here.

we are 6, ano pinaka ok transpo to go to singapore zoo? is it via taxi?

pauwi from singapore taxi, are there a lot of taxi na nag aabang?

ssangyong and london cabs can accommodate 6 adults right? marami bang ganitong taxi or bihira lang? para sana 1 lang sinasakyan namin at hindi kami magkawalaan na maghihiwalay pa kami in 2 taxis para magkasya.

namimili kasi ako between YMCA and Village Hotel Bugis.

^^at funan digitalife mall near city hall sis. we bought a dell laptop and camera gadgets here. I find buying in sim lim square medyo kakaduda. namemresyo sila when they know tourist ang buyer. at least sa funan it mall, fixed prices na. and reasonable naman ang prices.

^bugis street is chaotic and crowded. if you can tolerate the crowd sis ok lang din dito kasi maraming bargain stores. parang isang malaking tutuban lang ang bugis junction. sa bugis market naman well wet market ito if you can tolerate the smell of durian and Indians hehe. within little India lang ang bugis and the budget hotel I know is fragrance hotel. Pero expect the rooms to be small. I have no idea na of other budget hotels. Personally I'll go for ibis in bencoolen street. and little India is just walking distance to sim lim, orchard road, raffles, city hall, esplanade.

if you want to stay in YMCA hostel at orchard road, ok din ang location. malapit lang naman din ang little india where bugis street is. YMCA is near high-end shopping malls like ion orchard, paragon, wisma atria, and syempre lucky plaza na tambayan ng pinoys.

This is a well planned itinerary, but I suggest changing days for Universal Studios and Legoland.

Supposing you depart Singapore for Legoland at 12pm, you will reach Legoland in around 1.5 hours. Traffic is smooth at noon time as you will be avoiding the morning crowd and evening crowd.

You can finish Legoland in 4 hours, and then after that go to Johor Premium Outlet (JPO) for shopping and stop by for some seafood dinner (much cheaper than in Singapore) before going back to Singapore.

If you change dates with Universal Studios, you will have enough time with one full day in Johor to visit Hello Kitty Town and Little Big Club which is 15 minutes away from Legoland by drive.

Day 3: City tour
Will you be hiring a local tour guide?
For budget wide, you can visit these attractions for free: Merlion Park, Chinatown, Little India and Kampong Glam
If you can, consider hiring a tour guide for a half day city tour (4 hours). It will be a very insightful time, learning about the history and culture of the landmarks of Singapore.

cindylulu, I was just at LV earlier, no restrictions whatsoever with tourists. Ang naiisip ko lang na dilemma is kung paano itatago sa customs dyan sa atin pag nag mega hoarding ng mga designer bags...

champoy, if wala kayong kasamang kids sa Legoland, doable naman but if you're leaving MY ng 7:30-ish, it's safe to assume that you'll be back in SG by 9 earliest because you also have to consider the queue at both MY and SG immigration... For day 3, I doubt na maiikot nyo ang Gardens By the Bay with the limited time that you have considering that you have to be at the airport by 1. Medyo paspasan na ito pag nagkataon

smm_0411, there's DTF at Sentosa mismo... sa Labas ng USS. But be there early to avoid the long queue. You can also try the food court there on your 3rd day, Malaysian Food Street yung name. Sa Labas rin cya ng USS. There's not much food choices at Singapore Zoo compared to Sentosa but if you want to be safe, there's KFC here (just don't expect them to have gravy)... For day 5... Parang medyo packed considering that you have kids with you. You just need to take the MRT to Changi City Point, this is just 1 station away from Changi Airport. Before going here I suggest you check the mall listing and see if it'll not be a wasted trip for you since you still plan to go to Orchard afterwards. For the afternoon IT, I find it quite packed already and I don't think you can still squeeze in Gardens By The Bay if ever, nakakapagod na to sobra for the kids and I doubt na maikot ninyo ito lahat

^thanks sis. As what I did on my past travels, ginagamit ko agad para hindi mainit sa mata ng customs. Though when I bought my lv nf in hk nasa luggage lang and hindi naman pinakialaman ng customs.

the first two nights I'll be staying at Novotel in Clarke quay and the next two nights I'll be transferring to the sands. how far ba is ikea Alexandra from Clarke quay? From marina bay? do i need to ride a cab or is there a nearby bus station? Tia!
