Mga sis, nasa SG kami end of the month, mainly for food trip.  We will be there 3D/2N and food lang talaga habol namin.  What are the restaurants/places that you highly recommend?

^sis,

1.  I recommend JPot located in Vivocity (the best branch is in Tampines).  Order the superior broth plus the beef slices, fried beancurd, spinach, prawn balls, etc.  JPot is a shabu shabu but very very delicious broth.  Hindi sha katulad ng ibang shabu shabu na walang lasa.

2.  Lao ban beancurd.  A one of a kind chilled taho na silky and very good! even better that our own taho.

3.  Takoyaki at Gindaco in Ion food hall (best takoyaki in the whole world for me).

4.  Songfa Bakuteh in Clark Quay.

5.  Tian tian hainanese chicken rice.

6.  Salmon belly sashimi (any japanese restaurant).  In Phils, I rarely find salmon belly part as sashimi.

7.  Yakun Kaya toast and Teh c for breakfast.

8.  Tori Q for a very good yakitori.

9.  No signboard (vivocity or esplanade) or Jumbo seafood (clarke quay) for the best chili crabs)

10.  Din Tai Fung for one of the best fried rice and chinese cuisine.  Don't forget to order their Xiao Long Bao.

11.  Crystal Jade for the fried bean curd with pork and fried rice.

12.  Dean and Delucca for a very good hearty breakfast of Poached Eggs and Iberico Ham.

13.  Tiong Bahru Hawker for one of the best beef noodle soup.

14.  Thai Express for Soft shell crabs with curry.

^Paborito ko ang lao ban bean curd. Same with 51 bean curd rin..

Not a fan of Song Fa Bak Kut Teh  my husband calls that pepper-kut teh. Try Rong Cheng sa Sin Ming or Founder sa Balestier..

Si Din Tai Fung naman, I stopped eating here after I was able to eat at DTF Taiwan mismo, except lang kung mangulit ang mga kids ng xiao long bao & wala kami time to go to Paradise Dynasty in Ion. Walang sinabi ang Singapore DTF, tinitipid nila yata ang ingredients dito

Thanks sa pag-clear ng EZ-link sakin sisses! I have done a bit of research and found that we can avail of the tourist unlimited EZlink. We're planning to get the 2-day unli ride for $16. I think mas sulit na rin kesa mag EZ link na merong $5 fee. What do you think?

If you're not going to commute much, this is a waste of money IMO... 1 ride here is minimum 73cents (or 75) pag malapitan, pag malayo can go up to mga $1.50. The express bus charges about $2.40 but if you're just going to the city area and puros lakad kayo and magstay sa Sentosa etc, this is a total waste of money if you compute it Better pang kumuha ng ez link card coz you can use it again pag bumalik kayo dito (valid for 3 yrs cya) but I don't recommend this too if d naman rin masyado magtatake ng mrt and bus kasi there's single journey tickets...

dagdagan ko lang yung mga nirecommend ni xtine:
-Paradise Dynasty and Crystal Jade La Mian (there are diff kinds of Crystal Jade here...) for their xiao long -pao. The Noodles at Paradise Dynasty is also good... Way better than Din Tai Fung!
- Wild Honey at Mandarin Gallery. Try their Eggs Benedict
- For local food and you don't have time to go around, go to Ion Orchard's Food Opera. Must try there are fish ball noodles, hokkien mee, laksa, satay, and the Indonesian food stall there
-Azabu Sabo Japanese ice creme at Takashimaya... their ice creme is not too sweet, just right
-Tampopo at Takashimaya for their Tonkatsu
- Ramen Keisuke and Nantsuttei at Millennia Walk (this is across Suntec lang) for authentic Japanese ramen. Keisuke also has a branch at Bugis called Ramen Keisuke Four Seasons... If you're coming from Bugis Village, it's on the right side, nasa gilid cya near Mc Donald's). I'm sorry but walang sinabi ang mga ramen sa Manila

SG trip na namin ni hubby next week (Feb.12-15), tama na kaya yung IT ko?

Day 1:
11am arrival at changi airport, buy ezlink card
12pm travel going to plush pods bugis via MRT (keri ba MRT habang my bitbit na traveliing bags?)
12.30pm check-in kung pwede na or iwan gamit lang
1pm Lunch (san ba may malapit na resto sa tan quee lan st. jan kasi yung location ng plush pods hostel)
2pm walk tour lang around bugis (anung maganda museum malapit sa bugis?)

alternate na gagawin: pumunta sa tourist spots like merlion, MBS, clark quay, yung magkakadikit lang tapos chinatown para bumili pasalubong


Day 2:
9am punta USS
5pm luge at skyride (optional)
7.40pm song of sea


Day 3:
9am punta sentosa
5pm luge and skyride or balik na ng city para mag shopping
7pm Vday dinner date (any suggestion san pwede?)


Day 4:
7am punta airport
10am balik Manila

Any comments mga sis. Ang trip lang namin ni hubby is museums at mga rides. Ayaw namin ng zoo at halaman. hehe!

^ sis since you're around sentosa area, you can try mt.faber restos for a romantic vdate but make sure to make reservations

August pa naman ang Singapore trip namin ni hubby  4 days. Pero, gusto din kasi namin pumunta ng Malaysia. Possible kaya? May nakapagtry na po nyan dito.. Any suggestions of itinerary, yung cheapest hehe

^^Marami na nag-try nyan. Cheapest and fastest is by bus. Merong straight byahe from SG to KL pero if you want pwede rin magtrain from JB Sentral to KL.

mga sis yung Ban San st, taxi terminal to Malaysia malapit lang ba sa Bugis mtr? kaya ba lakarin or need pa sakay taxi or bus?

^Sis, I was there two weeks ago coz I went to johor and rode the CW2 citylink bus to queen st (Ban San st).

Yes, nilakad ko lang from that terminal till bugis MRT. sobrang lapit lang.  Isang kanto.  Sa Ban San St papasok ang bus pero merong lusutan to queen st (check the google map to see) ang mga passengers kasi wala naman shang gate, open na open ang parking space na to. 

Unless maraming marami kang dala, no need for taxi.  Sayang lang.

^Thanks sis, plano kasi namin mag taxi na lang papunta sa Johor, sana pumapayag magsakay ng may dala luggage kasi 2 nights kami mag stay johor para from Johor diretso na kami SG airport pag uwi.

Thanks sis chiena19. Hinde ba hassle mga sis mag MTR from airport going to Bugis? MTR lang kasi balak ko papunta ng plush pods e may dala kami mga bags pa baka kasi hassle. Thanks!

yey! nakapag pa book na rin sa wakas. March 13-16 4d/3n sobrang init na siguro dun ng ganung time.. tsk tsk kelangan na ng matindi tinding sunblock!

mga sis, set for SG na kami ni BF on the 11th! pa-check naman if ok na IT namin:

day 1:
- 905AM at Changi (meet up w/ my cousin and leave things at their place in Punggol)
- we plan to take the city tour bus and heritage tour bus. (hop on-hop off) sabi kasi better to for DIY tours... you get to see must visit places sa 1st ikot then list down na lang mga gusto balikan for gala/photo op/souvenir (since valid tickets for 24hrs) *probably lunch somewhere between the tours
- dinner at makansutra (***or can you guys suggest a more romantic place to have dinner na budget lang? we're celebrating our 10th year annive...) 
- merlion, MBS, MBS light show, esplanade, SG flyer (photo op lang)

day 2:
- whole day USS (or kaya ba isingit dito luge & skyride?)
- meet up for drinks with friends

day 3:
- actually bakante ito... most likely yung mga maisipan namin na ok balikan from our city/heritage tour bus eh yun ang puntahan. siguro chinatown, orchard rd

day 4:
- flight back to Manila is at 1045AM... (so nothing much na for this day)

*** pa-suggest naman ng iba pa namin pwede gawin/ kainan/ puntahan. (we don't like the zoo/museums alike...)


*** also where can we buy birkenstock na mura and kumpleto stock? i've heard kasi na cheaper ito sa SG compared dito satin...

at dahil namove yung oras ng flight namin sa SG pwede ako magextend sa SG. Thank you cebupac. hehe! Original flight Feb.12 MLA-SG at 5am naging 6:45am so pwede ako magpaaga kahit feb.11 pwede na ako umalis pero hinde ko na lang babaguhin. Pauwe, Feb.15 SG-MLA from 10am naging 11:30am yung flight so pwede ko paadjust kahit feb.16 pa yung return flight namin ni hubby. So ngayon ang problem ano naman ang pwede IT kasi mahaba na yung oras nain sa SG. [textspeak!] ba maganda puntahan sa Malaysia na balikan lang. Ayaw kasi namin ng legoland at Hello Kitty wala naman kasi kami kasama bata na mag-eenjoy dun.

hi mga sis, mayroon na ba nakapag try sa inyo ng sgmytaxi.com? nakita ko lang sa net and nag enquire ako ng transpo SG airport to johor, marami kasi kami and with kids kaya gusto namin private transfer. 2 Toyota innova ang rate SGD160 pero puwede daw bigay ng SGD150 for 2 Toyota innova. mag book lang daw ako and ang payment cash daw sa driver... okay kaya itong sgmytaxi.com?

^^ Sg has a good public transportation system. It's easy to get around using the MRT and buses.
Pero I guess if you have kids or senior citizens, ok na rin compared to taking the cab. But which places are you interested in ba?
