yes, bedok reservoir is not near bedok but probably its between bedok & tanah merah mrt.

if you want to take a mrt from bedok reservoir then you still need to take a bus siguro mga more than 5 stops pa bago ka makarating sa bedok mrt.  bedok reservoir is a residential area that got lots of hdbs and condos and a park na maraming nagjojogging doon.
if the accomodation is cheap then you just need to invest a bit on transportation and time coz this place is almost sa dulo na ito as in 2 or 3 mrt stops eh nasa changi airport ka na. but if ang pakay nyo is to become a tourist doable naman ito. malayo lang nga. pero para sa akin wala ng malayo dito sa sg coz almost everything may bus and mrt na.

tip pala sa mga commuters in sg na to avoid rush hours at all times. like 8am to 10am and 5pm to 8pm. pipila ka ng mahaba sa mrt ang siksikan especially if work week. nina in the mrt while going to my workplace may dalawang senior citizen na pinoy ang lakas ng kapit sa handrail syempre walang magbibigay syo ng upuan sa mrt.....at tsaka punuan din kanina 815am pa lang yun.

anyways, yesterday i was at suntec tower 2 yata yun so they are doing a major renovation and I scored alot of etude house products coz last last na nila kahapon together with all the shops. all their face mask mga $1.50 na lang

mga sis patulong naman. anyone here who knows of transient units in singapore? my family and i are planning to visit singapore in march. i'm looking at different options for our accommodation. kung san makakatipid dun kami. i've inquired with some hotels already kaso most are suggesting we book 2 rooms kasi 4adults, 3kids kami. eh namamhalan ako sa ganun.

Any feedback kung kaya ilusot sa ymca ang 2 kids? 16 year old na but asa 5 feet lang kaya gusto ko nalang ishare sa room. Per my officemates super strict daw ymca at nahahalata raw nila.

pinksuman, It's not even near Tanah Merah. If you look at the Map nasa gitna cya but It's nearer Bedok MRT but it'll take at least 5-6 bus stops depends on which side of the Reservoir are you going to take the bus. Mga 8 stops pag from Tanah Merah MRT.

msals2007, It's not walking distance from MRT dear. As in you have to take the bus... mga 30minute bus ride including lakad and hintay ng bus... For the Zoo, you have to take the taxi rin naman kahit na sa city ka manggagaling kasi inconvenient and matagal pag bus... For the others like Orchard, there's a direct bus going to the city area from BR (518 bus) but hindi frequent ang trips nya... For the others, you have to take the MRT. And ilan kayo? If 3-4 kayo sulit na rin naman ang taxi

Hala, paano yun, kinabahan naman ako. Kasi yung kakilala ko dun ang nag arrange ng accommodation namin. Sa friend daw niya. Pero we'll be paying per head. Parang transient nga. Siya naman nag offer to help us look for one kaya nakakahiyang tumanggi din. May nahuhuli ba sa ganyan?

^ a lot of shops will be closed on Friday, 31-Jan, first day of Chinese New Year.  sa 1-Feb, marami-rami nang bukas.  sa 2-Feb, back to normal operations na halos lahat. may ilan na lang sigurong sarado.  to be sure sa Sunday na lang kayo mag-shopping.

Girlcrush, yup kakasya sila. Ang prob ko lang yung pagpasok sa kanila. Kasi i'm not willing to pay na extra since kasya na sa 2 bed. E i think binibilang talaga nila mabuti and tinatandaan yung mga tao na pumapasok kahit hindi sabay sabay.

pinaplan namin ng bf ko mag SG sa May for our 5th anniversary. ano masasuggest niyong puntahan namin at saka ilang nights kaya ang ibubook namin sa SG? yung hindi kami magagahol sa oras at mapuntahan yung mga magagandang attraction/tpurist spots.. Hindi ko trip ang mga museums. Trip ko mga universal studios.. tsaka trip ko yung mga magagandang view talaga or tourist spots like gardens by the bay. anong magagawa sa sentosa? masasuggest niyo ba na pumunta kami sa sentosa? anong meron dun? Sorry kung parang ang KJ ng dating ko pero baka pwede nyo iconsider maghanap ng ibang matitirhan kasi unang una, hindi rin naman convenient yung location... And yes meron mga nahuhuli dati. Pag nahuli, evict agad pati ang may ari ng unit, damay kasi confiscated ang HDB (assuming na HDB ang titirhan ninyo)

^Sis I highly suggest na magbook ka para wala ka na aalalahanin pagdating mo.  Mahirap mag hostel to hostel especially if you don't have the luxury of time since sandali ka lang dito sa SG.
