Happy new year sisses! Our family (2 adults,  12yr old and 2 yrs and 11 month old daughters) will be travelling on april 7 to 12. Am still searching for hotels and preparing our iti. Below are my questions:
1. Which hotel is better between ymca, sea hotel and hotel 81 bugis?
2. Ano anong mga hotels ang pwede sumakay sa fre shuttle to rws? May limit ba ang free rides?
3. For uss ticket, do I need to buy for my daughter (2 yrs and 11 months) sya by that time?
4. Pwede ba double or triple room ang kunin ko o dapat family room kami?

DIY lang kami same as what I did when we travel to hk.  TIA. :-)

Going to visit Singapore for a day tour coming from Kuala Lumpur and back. Ano reco nyo places to visit? We might not be able to do Sentosa kasi gipit sa time. TIA!

Hello! will be going to singapore on March 2014. We're 4 adults and considering ymca and strand hotel's family room.  I'd like to ask your opinion/advice which is better in terms of location/convenience and comfort/quality of room.  kasi sa rate konti lang difference coz me promo ang ymca.

^YMCA. Hands down. Location alone says it all....

litle princess, nearest hawker centre that I can recommend is the one at Newton (also known as Newton Circus Hawker Centre). For some it is a tourist trap but in fairness they have good food, from fish ball noodles to hokkien mee to chill crab is okay. But if you don't want to travel and just want something that can be accessed by foot, Food Republic at Ion will suffice. Same concept, only difference is the latter is air-conditioned... Try their hokkien mee, fish ball noodles, laksa, satay.

- i usually recommend YMCA to my friends lalo na kung marami sila. ok yung location at saka yung rates. at saka malaki daw yung family room nila

- shuttle from hotels to RWS: im not so sure... ang isang alam ko lang from Fairmont. and you need to be a hotel guest to use the free shuttle.  ang pinakamurang way to Sentosa from Vivo City area is by Boardwalk.  $1 lang per entry pag doon. lakad siguro is around 500m. pero may parts naman na walkalator.  next cheapest is tru bus RW8. bus stop is sa tapat ng Vivo City.  $2 yata going to RWS. libre na palabas ng RWS.
- below 4yo is free entry to USS (and most attractions in SG like zoo, bird park, etc. just check on their website)

- kung hindi matao sa USS, kaya sya in 4hrs. unahin mo na yung mahaba pila like Transformers, Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure (pero mababasa ka dito), Revenge of the Mummy ride.  tapos yung Chinatown, kaya naman siguro in 2hrs.

I'm not sure if i am in the right thread pero ask ko lang sissies kung may alam/kilala kayong gumagawa ng "pabili" or parang pool orders ng mga stuff na available sa singapore? Or pwedeng makisuyo ng 1 item lang. I just really need this certain facial wash na available sa sg but not in philippines. Im running out of it already and i dont have alternatives pa na available dito since i've tried a lot before and i had bad skin breakout. Sorry if i am in the wrong thread, pm me na lang para mabura ko tong post in case out of topic.. thanks.

hi! regarding lang sa shuttle bus ng Resorts World Sentosa, like yun sa Summer View Hotel along bencoolen. Do you need to be a guest of the hotel (in this case Summer View) to be able to ride the shuttle? Sayang din kasi if puwede sumabay, makakatipid din ng transpo papuntang sentosa. anyone here na natry na?

and ask ko na rin, worth it ba i-avail yun SEA AQUARIUM? 2 Adults and 1 Senior Citizen kasi kami when we go to singapore. Baka kasi ma-bore kami since we've been to Ocean Park HK and Ocean Adventure (Subic) na before. Marami bang ibang attraction siya compared to Ocean Park?

at saka to those who availed of USS tickets via Travel Delight, yun USS ticket ba may kasama pa siya meal and retail voucher na free? when i check their website kasi ngayon, sa Travel Delight USS ticket is SGD 64 while sa Asia Travel its SGD 65 pero with free meal voucher of $10 and retail voucher of $5. Baka lang kasi di lang nila inilagay sa website yun freebies..

Jus came back from our short holiday in SG, we went shopping along Orchard Road then visited Gardens by the Bay, Marina Bay Sands, USS, SEA Aquarium and River Safari. That was our itinerary for 5d4n and we'd usually wake up late and go home by 10pm.

Stayed at Royal Plaza on Scotts and food there is amazing. We had our NYE dinner at their retaurant, Carousel and also had daily breakfast there. May free use of Nespresso and free minibar pa.

Our favorite was USS but it was so packed when we went there on the 30th. Had to wait in line for 2 hours for the Transformers ride. River Safari is another favourite, it was a bit different than the usual zoo or aquarium.

I know this is a budget hotel and I read reviews na the room is small pero 2 lang naman kami ni hubby na pupunta and we plan to stay there to sleep and take a bath lang. Important kasi samin location and since meron naman airport transfer yun travel package na kukunin namin ang commute lang namin is papuntang Universal Studios etc.

If you are looking for a budget hotel near an MRT station, I suggest Soluxe Inn. There is also free pick up service to Universal Studios Singapore every morning.
