Thanks pinksuman. That's why I asked kasi maraming mas makakatulong sa 'kin re this matter. I read from an SG blog (forgot which one) that it was a good thing he had his ezlink "registered" at nang ni-report niya na na-misplaced nya yung card nya, na-recover naman ang balance and transferred it to his new card. Pasensya na, kaya po nagtatanong para mas maliwanag & thanks for your replies.

@Bagaholic_chewy: thanks sis! Baka matagalan pa kasi kami makabalik. Kung sakali, ipapahiram ko na lang sa friends ko 'yung card para di mawalan ng silbi.

I actually put S$50 or S$100 on my ez link card kasi ginagamit ko rin sa taxi minsan.  ATM ko rin minsan ang ezlink ko.  But I have an officemate before na lalaki, hindi nya natanggal sa shirt pocket yung ezlink nya kaya nalabhan nya ng di inaasahan, di na nya nabawi ang balance. 

I am also registered sa ezlink so I am able to monitor how much ang normal fare ko.  I have two cards and both are registered. 

Regarding tourists not able to register, not only ezlink yung di ka pwede mag register, kahit mga loyalty cards pag walang FIN or NRIC, hindi tatanggapin ang applications.

pinksuman, where in Geylang do you usually eat crabs na ganyan kamura? Or is that just the typical small mud crab? 'Coz the usual price ng big crabs here is $45-$55.

And I don't think it's also advisable to go to Bugis nowadays with the flock of people in that area. I experienced getting stuck in the stoplight for more than 10minutes before due to the thick crowd that it's just so hard to cross the street   that's why we never go to Bugis during holidays (and we just go here to eat snacks or buy souvenirs, I find the stuff at Divisoria much better IMO and has more variety)

Yan din napansin ko, akala ko nga pang-deepavali yung decor nila. Di na super bongga unlike the past years. Pag ganitong season pa naman mas masarap magstroll sa Orchard sa gabi.

^Safe naman magdala ng 20 packs of dried mangoes.  Sabhin mo pasalubong.  Para mas convincing, in case lang na masita, put scotch tape on the packs then sulat lang kayo ng name para alam nila na pasalubong yun.

pasensya na rin sis. i never thought din kase na puedeng iregister ang ezlink cards. 
i have several and pinapahiram ko sa family or friends ko basta i-top-up lang nila.
pero that's good if we register it because i have experience several times na nakakapulot lang ako ng ezlink eh
ako kase bihira akong nawawalan ng cards because i put everything on my wallet and inside my bag. maganda rin dito sa sg na mas honest ang mga tao dito. yung hubby ko nga nawalan ng wallet twice and we still recover it complete with cards, cash etc.

i'm not too sure if mud crab yun but the size is ok and my hubby always choses the crab because mas expert sya doon kung sino masmalaman
the place that i go is the eminent frog porridge seafood restaurant sa may 323 geylang road. parang eskinita sya sa may lorong 19 geylang yata yun. famous food nila is the frog porridge but we always order the crab 

I feel happy and festive sa orchard kahit ulit na yung decor or similar to that. actually few colors lang ang pipilian nila. hindi na puede red, yellow and green because maguguluhan daw yung mga drivers sa lights ng orchard. sana purple na lang yung design na but its still beautiful.

sa bugis naman this is the closest sa tiangge compared sa DV. i don't use the street crossing because i always use the link bridge between bugis+ and bugis mall (bhg) less hassle and aircon pa 

dried mangoes ok lang yan. sana hindi maconfiscate hotdogs ko this sunday. punta mama ko dito sa sg. never experience yet confiscated items. hehe

Kami din lagi hotdogs, longganisa at tocino ang baon pabalik dito. Nitong huling uwi, may fiesta ham. Hahaha

two weeks ago sis nagdala kami ng 2 kilos of hotdogs at 1 kilo of tocino, ok naman sya naka check in baggage sya e.

Yes, ang daming tao ngaun sa bugis lalo na dun sa tiange area na parang divisoria na sa traffic ng tao... pero mas mura kasi dun ang mga souvenirs e. :-)

In fairness sis, they don't remove the decors right away na but It started lang last year. 2010 christmas season, as in pagpatak ng December 26 you see trucks removing the christmas decors right away along Orchard Nakakamiss ang christmas season sa atin, non? The displays at Ayala ave alone walang panama sa Orchard...

Hi sisses. We're here in Sg na. Sa mga Sg moms, anong water ang hinahalo niyo sa formula ni baby? Nagpunta kami 711, and other store wala daw silang distilled. May nakita kami sa paragon kaaso 1.5 ml lang.

^I don't think it's safe magpakulo ng water dito. The water here is different. Drinkable but if you have a sensitive tummy, I don't advise drinking the water here...

technically bawal any meat - processed or luto.  pero lately pinapalampas naman nila. wala akong nababalitaan lately na na-confiscate. pero dati madami.

^ true. hindi kasama yung pilipinas sa list ng countries na pwede magdala ng beef at pork sa Singapore.
may friend ako na na-confiscate-an ng lechon  (with matching lecture ng customs officer at pamphlet for future reference ). pero madami din naman nakakalusot, since not every bag naman ini-inspect.
