^mas ok sa kin henann sis. maganda pool, beachfront, rooms & masarap buffet. nakapag-stay na din ako sa bellevue & hindi ko masyadong naenjoy, though maganda din yong room nila & infinity pool pero mas maliit yong property saka malayo sa alona kung saan nandon yong mga kainan na mura

@istine0618, I've stayed at both resorts and halos pare-pareho lang mga facilities nila. If you don't mind I'll suggest another resort you can look into where I've recently stayed. Check out Be Grand resort. They have 5 restos with affordable food prices, dami pa their servings. It's only a 5-minute drive to Alona in case you feel like you want to get out of the resort and try other restos/shops. Right now they're still working on their complimentary shuttle service to Alona. Malamang by the time you visit in December meron na.

You mentioned you have kids with you? I'm sure they'll enjoy the kiddie pool there, they have water cannons and other pang-kids na entertainment. Sa Bellevue and Hennan kasi purely swimming pool lang. What they lack in a shoreline they made up for it sa swimming pool nila. And if you stay sa villas you will have your own swimming pool (halos same set up with Hennan's villas).

To summarise the 3 resorts:

Hennan - big (400 rooms) resort expect a lot of tour groups
            - along Alona beach (lots of resorts, restos and shops)
            - 3 swimming pools

Bellevue - medium size (150 rooms)
            - with shoreline, no big resorts around so the beach is somewhat private
            - only one pool
            - not much dining/shopping options

Be Grand - medium size (200 rooms)
            - no shoreline
            - main pool including the kiddie pool and meandering pool for the villas
            - 5 restos
            - 5-minute drive to Alona (same side's as Alona's)

Hello sissies. Will be going to bohol by July. I stayed in dumaluan resort dati. Now, I'll be with my parents. Any suggestions for a good place to stay? Yung fresh air pag gising and lakad lakad along beach area. (i think they need this, Manila is so hustle bustle). But not too expensive.hehe

What food restaurants in bohol that serve province type Salo Salo. Haha. They really like fresh province foods. Any suggestions of should-go-eat in bohol?

I'll correct myself lang. The regular transfer to Panglao is 250-300 only up to Dauis/Bohol Bee Farm. Additional 100-150 if up to Alona. So pwede na rin yung 500/one way/one car na transfer. Sorry ladies if I made you feel bad earlier. Though if you're a suki na like us you can get it cheaper, just make tawad.

^hehe sis buti na-clarify mo. muntik ko ng itext si kuya tatsky para sana sabihin sa kanya na mahal rate nya. pero in fairness sa kanila, halos lahat ng car/van nila bago pa & mababait mga driver plus laging mas maaga sa call time kaya highly recommended ko sila

^Any particular reason why you want to stay in Tagbilaran? I would rather stay the whole time in Panglao. Kung mag countryside tour kayo, you can do it in one whole day. Unless you plan on going to more places in the main island not included in the regular countryside tour.

If you haven't bought your tickets yet, book the first flight para tuloy na kayo countryside tour pagdating nyo. You'll be done around 4-5PM tapos ihatid na kayo sa resort in Panglao.

Hi sis...naisip ko lang kasi parang mahal sa Panglao mag stay. pero can you recommend where to stay sa panglao na beachfront pero affordable?

^Sis, try the resorts along Dumaluan beach. IMO, Dumaluan beach is way better than Alona

Mama squeak is right, it's better to do the countryside tour as soon as you arrive in Tagbilaran then check-in na sa Panglao the same night. Included naman ang airport pickup and resort drop off sa tour. Safe naman iwan ang mga gamit sa sasakyan.

^it's actually Bolod beach nagkataon lang one of the first resorts there is owned by the Dumaluan family kaya nakasanayan na tawagin na Dumaluan. And yes mas malawak ang Bolod beach. It is also where Bohol Beach Club and South Palms (other half of BBC before) are located. Wala nga lang masyadong restos/shops here kaya medyo limited ang choices mo when it comes to food options. But otherwise mas maganda ang beach dito compared to Alona.

@hakunamatata, sis I don't know what's affordable to you. What may be affordable to you may be expensive to me. Google mo na lang sis a map of Panglao's beach resorts, maybe you can check which one appeals to you. Marami kasi sila with rates from $ to $$$

Hi mga sis, ask ko lang sino dito ang solo backpacker na pupunta ng bohol ng May15-May16, para may kahati sa rerent na car. TIA

^^^^sis how many nights do you have? we stayed there last month for 4d3n. If you like, you can try ibat ibang place to stay every night para maexperience ang ibat ibang beaches sa Panglao.

The first night, sa Natura Vista kami, 2mins away from beach. Very quiet and provincial feel, very relaxing. (walking distance to PINRS and Hinagdanan cave)
The second night, sa Libaong beach kami, walking distance to Dumaluan beach (quiet din and IMO mas maganda ang beach dito compare to Alona, madami din starfish hehe)
The last night Alona beach kami... (nightlife, restos etc)

So we were able to see and experience the different beaches of Panglao

Hello!!!

Just got back from Bohol yesterday.

Sharing some feedbacks:

1. Be Grand - nice, clean, spacious rooms (even though we didn't stay in a villa). We had a balcony to dry our clothes. The pool is nice too (even though they didn't put tiles on it hehe). It is a quiet place to relax, not crowded. Loved staying in the canopy (not sure what they call it), where we can just sit back relax and enjoy the view of the beach. Food is okay and hindi konti ang servings, although only 2 restaurants are open (3 if you stay in a villa)

2. Kuya Glen c/o Mama Squeak - superb! They are very friendly and they come in at least 15 mins before the time. New cars!

^Ay galing! I'm happy naman enjoy kayo. My Mom said nga kaka-deliver lang last week ng bagong sasakyan nila Glen. Most of the people naman in Bohol mababait talaga. Usually yung mga dayo ang may mga problema just like anywhere else.

Be Grand is still on soft opening kaya di pa bukas yung ibang restos nila (supposed to be 5). When we were there dalawa pa nga lang yung bukas. Yung sa villa sarado pa that time. By the way, I received an email from them that they will be offering complimentary shuttle services to Alona soon.
