^Naku yan talaga yung pet peeve namin ni hubby yung mga maiingay na bisita! Yung walang pakialam na nakakaabala na sila sa ibang tao. 

@shyreen, if you want a small, intimate resort I'd go for Amorita. Although wala silang shoreline meron silang access to Alona beach. Okay din yung location nila since dulo sila ng Alona so hindi magulo.

Di pwedeng bonfire sa public beach like Alona. Eskaya pwede since they made their own private beach/shoreline.

mga sis may additional 200 ba talaga kay kuya tatsky if from alona ang sundo? kaloka now lang nya sinabi bukas na flight namin..

Sis kay naldix 500 lang to/from alona to/from airport.. His wife was personally the one na nagdrive samin from Alona to airport. Taga Tagbilaran pa sila, so from Tagbilaran, pinuntahan pa kami sa Alona (around 20-30 min travel), then pabalik to TAG Airport. The fee is 500. Mas mura talaga ng konti kay Naldix, IMO.

^sis, clarify ko lang ha. same lang rate ng transfer nila naldix & kuya tatsky 500 lang din nong nagpahatid kami pero 600 nong nagpasundo ako kasi malaking van yong gusto ko. yong sinasabing additional 200 nong isang sis natin sa tour yon, may additional talaga dahil susunduin pa sa alona which is mas malayo kesa kung manggagaling lang sa port or airport then derecho tour

^Agree! Standard na yung singil na 200 if coming from Panglao going on a countryside tour. Usual practice kasi is pagsundo sa pier or airport in the morning diretso countryside tour pagkatapos hatid sa resort in Panglao.

Kung transfers to/from pier/aiport - resort ang range ng singil is from 200 to 250 one way.

^kung open air, 400 (one-way) sa oceanjet & 800 naman tourist class. yong sa mga kapatid ko tourist class binili ko balik promo 800 lang balikan na yon

thank you mga sis! check ko. yang mga yan. pero may nabasa ako na mas mura ang fare pag sa tubigon ang punta at mas malapit dun ang Chocolate Hills.

^pwede naman din kaya lang mas maliit na fast craft yung nagbabyahe sa Tubigon. Plus bihira lang ang mga tour guides dun since sa Tagbilaran based lahat sila. But if you plan to DIY/commute pwede na sa Tubigon.

Given a choice, considering the amenities, cleanliness of the room/hotel, food, including the room rates, which will you stay:

- South Palms,
- Be Grand
- Amorita
- Hennan

^Lahat sila naman halos hindi nagkakalayo sa mga nabanggit mong consideration. Depende na lang siguro sa location na gusto mo.

^^kung gusto mo malapit sa mga restaurants, alona ka sis. bias ako sa hennan kasi kagagaling lang namin don & halos ayaw pa naming umuwi, kung wala lang kaming ticket pabalik ng manila gusto pa naming mag-extend hehe

I just checked now, South Palms is cheaper, at around 8K, Be Grand at 8.5K and Hennan at around 9k+.

I wonder if ok naman mag stay sa South Palms...

Maganda shoreline ng South Palms. Disadvantage lang nila wala masyadong kainan sa labas. Hennan a bit expensive pero prime location, beach and restaurants at Alona. Yun lang ako personally naguguluhan sa Hennan. I'll do Amorita before Hennan, magkatabi lang naman sila though walang shoreline ang Amorita but they have direct access from their cliff top location. Be Grand is a 5-minute drive from Alona. I prefer this resort, tahimik. We stayed at one of their Dream Villas last week, very nice! I guess since soft opening pa sila kaya wala masyadong guests pa. Their food servings are huge! Affordable din ha.

^^try mo sa wotif.com sis, don nagbook si hubby ng hennan. 6,400 lang kuha namin sa suite room. tyempuhan yong deal, before laging around 12K yong suite buti nachambahan namin kaya sobrang sulit ng 1 week namin sa hennan

Thank you mama squeak! If soft opening pa lang sila, i guess ok magstay dun because it means malinis pa talaga yung place since bago lang, down side lang is yung beach front..medyo mabato.

^sis, sorry if I gave you the wrong impression but it is a bit far to walk to Alona from the resort. Malapit lang if you have a car but do check with the hotel if their complimentary shuttle service to Alona is already available. When we stayed there last week wala pa but it really didn't matter to us since we had a car.
