^si kuya eric din tour guide/habal habal driver ko when i went solo to bohol. Nakakatuwa sya talaga. Dahil solo ako at nakaangkas ako sa motor nya, ang daming nagtatanong sa kanya kung asawa nya daw ba ako. Lololol. After my tour niyaya nya pa ko mag videoke. Kaya lang super pagod na ko that time kaya di na kami tumuloy.

Nakakamiss naman ang bohol. Hindi na ko nakapag sea tour nun kase one day lang ako sa Panglao and nag beach bumming lang ako. Sobrang gusto ko yung beach sa island kase very serene and calm. Parang gusto ko tuloy bumalik. Haha!

hi Sis purpleish. late ko na nabasa reply mo. balak kasi namin magbonfire or kahit boodlefight on our 2nd night kasi bday ng cousin ko. kaya lang bawal daw sabi ni Ms. Kathy. though madami naman nagsasabi na okay nga sa DBR2.

Si Kuya Tatsky at Ms. Kathy ay magasawa right? hahaha. sana maging okay din ang trip namin. question lang. i wonder kung bakit per tour eh may rate kayo ng van rental? hindi ba kayo kumuha ng "all-in" service nila? and ilang pax kayo? we get their "all-in" service kasi. 1st day is countryside tour then 2nd day is sea tour din pero di nakabreakdown per day ang bayad sa service. (nagets mo sis? or magulo explanation ko? haha) my point is...parang ang dami nyo kasing binayaran na entrance fees, etc. eh usapan namin ni Ms. Kathy, kasama na yun sa package (pati yung lunch buffet sa first day). worried lang ako na baka madami din kaming bayadan. tsk. lagot ako sa mga kasama ko pag nagkataon. hahaha.

^Hi sis, I think nagbigay lang ng breakdown si kuya tatsky, actually informed naman kami sa lahat ng fees. Doon sa sea tour, prerogative pa rin naman namin if babayaran namin yung 150/person na resident tour guide or not

Yung rate ni kuya tatsky for countryside tour:
2,100 Vios
2,500 Innova
2,700 van

Kinuha namin 'yung van kahit lima lang kami kasi ayaw namin ng masikip haha. Tapos lahat ng entrance fees sa sites asa P255/person. Ang arrangement kasi, van rental kay kuya driver babayaran pero lahat ng entrance fees kami na ang direct magbabayad dun sa sites. Bale sa countryside tour, P1,215/person ang binayaran namin. Mas mapapaliit yan kung mas marami kayo sa group

Sa sea tour naman, P520/person ang binayaran lahat lahat. Mas maliit yan kung mas marami and kung sa Alona beach ang pickup

^thanks sis! so bale, 1735/pax for 5 pax ang gastos nyo kila kuya tatsky? except accomm? kami kasi 10pax hahaha. lahat lahat with accomm is 3080/pax. okay na din for us. namurahan nga ako eh. nagulat lang ako na nakahiwalay pa entrance fees sainyo. maybe, kasama na ang entrance fees sa babayadan namin sakanila, right? balak lang kasi namin nasa around 5-6k lang din ang gastos namin like sa davao. considering na mas madami kami ngayon, dapat nga di na umabot ng 6k eh. hihi.

Ito breakdown ng budget namin per person:

P1,030 - RT airfare with check-in baggage
P1,215 - countryside tour with kuya Tatsky kasama na hatid sa resort and all entrance fees and yung Loboc River lunch buffet
P375 - dinner sa Bohol Bee Farm
P940 - 2 nights accommodation
P530 - sea tour including yung 150/pax na resident guide fee and P50 na entrance fee sa island
P130 - aqua shoes rental
P850 - Tarsier Paprika lunch with RT transfers to/fro resort (ang mahal talaga)
P270 - dinner sa DBR1 Grill
P160 - van transfer from Panglao to airport na may kasamang souvenir shopping and hintay ng driver habang naglulunch kami
P300 - lunch sa Shakey's Tagbilaran

Hindi kasama dyan yung tip sa mga guides and yung pasalubong. 5 pax kami

^i think depende kung ang kukunin nyo kay sir tatsky is van rental lang, or yung tour package na. pag sasakyan lang kayo bahala sa itinerary although of course may suggested sila. pag ganun hiwalay ang entrance fees. that's what i did with mine. habal habal rental lang then ako lahat nagbayad ng entrance fees. pero meron din syang package na kasama na lahat ng entrance fees, yung buffet na lang sa floating resto ang hindi.

a little over 7k ang nagastos ko sa Bohol, all in, kasama na airfare and pasalubong and lahat ng food and tip. not bad since mag isa lang ako. hehe

Nag sidetrip pala ko sa Cebu kaya almost 8k ang gastos ko. parang 7.9k yata

Nasa Bohol kami last thurs-sat! And man, it was FUN especially when you're with your family!!! mejo bitin lang kasi ang sarap sana magstaycation along seashore lang. super relax lang. nognog na tuloy ako! haha.

Any recommendation na beach resort sa bohol? most preferrably beachfront and with pool. Thank you.

^reco ko ang DBR2 sis! beachfront with pool and may live band pa sa gabi. idk lang kung every night pero we stayed there thurs-sat and may band naman.

^for me sis, tahimik naman yung place. mga love songs nga music ng band eh. and nung friday night may open mic pa. onti lang din kasi yung tao ngayong time. you may want to consider.

So 2 pala ang DBR? Dun kasi kami nagstay last year haha. Di ako aware dalawa pala. Pero ok naman ang service nila, and the view, and the food. I like the band din pag gabi nakakarelax. Hindi tulad ng mga birit bands sa mga puchu puchu lang.

^hi sis. idk lang kung same ang may ari pero may DBR then DBR2 ang alam ko. *correct me if im wrong* if you are facing the ocean, nasa left side yung DBR. yung may murang grill-an. tapos mas sosyal yung DBR2. and yes, i like the band too. magaling yung girl na kumakanta nung andun kami. actually, friday night...2 sets yung kumanta na inabutan namin. yung second set is one man band. hihi.

If you ladies want to splurge a little bit, book a stay at South Palms Resort. This is the newly renovated other half of the former Bohol Beach Club. Same beach area as Dumaluan. But book using a 3rd party booking site like agoda, asia travel, etc. kasi sobrang mahal if you book direct with the resort's website unless they have ongoing promos.

We're booked for a 5-day vacation in Bohol this April. Planning to beach bum for the first two days (we'll stay sa Bohol Beach Club), countryside tour on the third, sea tour on the fourth then beach bumming again sa last day (we'll just look around Alona beach, etc). I also got Kuya Tatsky's service for our tours. Better ba if we buy our own aqua shoes?

^For me, it's a good investment kasi mahilig ako mag-beach and magagamit ko naman siya in the future.

The ones for rent in Balicasag are old and worn out na. May mga butas and all. Hirap pa maghanap ng size talaga. Tsaka hygiene na rin

we just came from Danao. we SUPER ENJOYED it!!!! as in!!!! it's really sad that Danao tourism significantly declined after the earthquake dahil under maintenance pa rin ang The Plunge nila.

BUT, there's so much more to Danao than just The Plunge. yung iba kasi iniisip nila zipline lang meron sa Danao kaya sa Loboc na lang pumupunta instead of Danao.

But no!! grabe aside sa Suislide zipline, super duper enjoy kami sa Root Climbing and Caving!! ang saya!! after root climbing, you'll rappel down. saya!

ako i also enioyed River Kayaking coz mahilig ako sa ganun. i prefer river kayaking than sea kayaking kasi beach lang view mo pag sa sea. sa river kayaking, ang view mo ay forest side, trees, greenery, super nice!

tapos sobrang ok ng activity guides sa Danao!! ang babait nila and patient. grabe sobrang ok nung guides sa caving, they deserve a special mention, sina Alvin at Edgar. si Alvin yung lead guide na sobrang maasikaso and maingat sa amin. si Edgar grabe nahabag ako sa kanya kasi merongbparts sa cave na pinatapak nya kami sa shoulder nya kasi there was no other way to get to the higher part of the cave. basta super ok ang guides sa Danao!

we availed our tours from Kuya Tatsky. si Eric ang naassign samin sa country-side and Danao. we really liked him!! super!!

yung sa Hinagdanan cave na guide, nairita ako, hahaha! masyado nga silang feeling close. and nakakairita ang mga hirit nila.

sa DBR2 kami nag-stay sa Dumaluan Suite. sobrang laki ng room and ang ganda ng view sa balcony because it was facing the sea. pero di ako babalik dun kasi may stains ang blanket and ang daming IPIS!!!!

Hi sis meimei! Advisable bang mag Danao pag may kasamang mga bata? We'll bring our 2 kids (isang 13, isang 4 years old) so baka masyadong extreme yung mga activities sa Danao..?
