^2 way pala kayo sis, 1 way lang kasi kami. Nung trip namin, wala pang biyahe ang supercat. Baka ngayon may scheduled trip na sila. If you also want cheaper alternatives, try researching about Cebu-Tubigon route, mas mura daw dun at mas mabilis compared to Cebu-Tagbilaran.

We're back from our Cebu-Bohol trip.

Sa Bohol, we stayed in South Palms Resort. We didn't do any tours kasi husband had to work kaya di na ako kumontak ng mga tour guides. Pero enjoy pa din kahit resort and beach lang.

First highlight was the food. Super sarap ng food sa South Palms, pang sosyal ang lasa hehe. Paglipat namin sa BBF, di na kami nasarapan sa food nila kasi hinahanap-hanap namin yung lasa ng food sa South Palms. Medyo pricey but worth it, pero actually konti lang difference sa presyo ng food sa BFF, but the taste is way better and serving size is big. Breakfast and a choice of lunch/dinner is already included in the room rate, kaya super sulit talaga. We had breakfast buffet on Sunday morning, ang daming choices.

Second highlight, we were upgraded to a beachfront villa. I only booked a deluxe garden view, which is their cheapest room, beach villa is twice as expensive kaya sobrang tuwa ko Room amenties are great tsaka bago pa lahat. View from our villa is so nice din. Beside being close to the beach, it's also close to the adult pool, pero malayo sa restaurant. But it's okay kasi nakakatuwa maglakad sa pathway nila leading to the restaurant. They have a mini man-made forest Tsaka once lang kami nagpunta sa restaurant, most of our meals were served in the room.

We really felt pampered in the resort. Lahat ng staff eager to assist, greeted us with a smile. From the day we came to the day we left, we were treated like a king. Di pa complete ang resort amenties, 1 infinity pool and 1 adult pool pa lang, pero they will have a gym and tennis court din daw.

Nung una medyo disappointed ako sa Bolod Beach. Madaming lumot, also shells and dead corals kaya may part na masakit sa paa, madaming sea urchins especially dun sa part na madaming corals at medyo makati yung tubig, but past the area of the corals, medyo ok na. Sand is not as fine as in Boracay tsaka medyo mainit siya lakaran. Best part nga is the beach in front of  BCC and the 1st half of South Palms. Pero on our 2nd morning, I noticed that a sand bar has formed a few meters way from the shore. Ang ganda at super fine ang sand, parang powdered milk. Pero be careful din kasi may maliit na bulate sa sand.

We will surely be back in Bohol, for the countryside tour and sea tour naman. And if I can save up a bigger budget again, I won't hesitate staying in South Palms again. They made our Bohol trip memorable kahit di kami nag-tour

sis shinta, malayo po ang tubigon, yes its 1 hr travel lang by sea from cebu pero you have to treavgel
again for another hours or so pa ata via land its hassle na kasi we have kids with us.. kaya
dun na kami sa tagbiralaran para paglabas ng pier sundo na agad resort na.

we were in bohol 2 weeks ago. heartbreaking ang nangyari lindol sa kanila esp the churches. they really need the tourism.

loboc river tour was so relaxing. kung pwede lang dun na ko matulog.. lol! sobra kami tawa sa bee farm experience namin because of the guide assigned to us, si raymond. ang dami baon jokes na benta samin. 

idk if this is allowed mamamodz  (pero sana).

hello mga sis, sa sunday na flight namin to bohol, excited na rin.

itinerary namin:

dec. 22- arrival at bellevue

dec. 23 - kuya tatsky's countryside tour

dec. 24 - sea tour

dec. 25 - flight pabalik ng manila @ 5pm.


problem ko, baka datnan na ako ng buwanang dalaw ng dec. 24 eh sea tour namin yun LOL.

baka maamoy ako ng pating? hahahaha.

^ goodluck! enjoy the tour. suggestion lang - go see the fireflies, alam ni tatsky yan it's not a very sikat attraction but it is magical!

giuseppe's - good but then hubby had some reaction to the food (we ate the same thing) and he was barfing and LBM for a good day

I think pwede, better ask tatsky kasi we went there specially on another day after our tour. it's a bit far from the other sites and is called abatan.

check with him how much additional if you are going there. special trip kami, we paid php1800 for the car to and from alona then php800/pax for the boat since 2 lang kami.

Hi mga sis dito na kami bellevue, konti lang guests kaya enjoy sa facilities lol.

Umuulan dito nung dumating kami pero tumigil din.

No naman, the boat is big enough for about 15 pax and is motorized. you can also do kayaking around the lake.

Best part nga is the beach in front of  BCC and the 1st half of South Palms.

sis, what's BCC? or do you mean BBC as in Bohol Beach Club? pero di ba, BBC is now South Palms? it's one and the same. so medyo nalito ako sa statement above, hehe. just wanted to check kasi ang sabi ng mom ko who has been to Bohol before, maganda daw nag beach sa tapat ng BBC (now South Palms) so yun sana ang balak ko na accommodation namin.

ang nagsabi sakin nun was yung staff ng South Palms when i went to the travel expo last Sept. yun daw ang dating BBC. pero when i checked the websites ngayon, mukha namang different. iniisip ko ngayon, baka same owner lang, tapos yung South Palms is mas high-end version ng BBC. are they right next to each other?

anyway, for those who have been to Henann Resort, ok ba ang beachfront nila?

Yes sis, magkatabi lang sila. may BBC pa din, pero yung ibang part ng BBC sinakop na ng South Palms. Same owner na ata sila ngayon. Under renovation, pero reopen na next year. Not sure kung sino mas high-end sa dalawa, pero in terms of property, mas malaki ang South Palms.

Travel Date: Dec. 22-25

stayed at : The Bellevue Bohol


Day 1:

- we arrived at Bellevue ng 1 pm na kasi 1.5 hours na delayed ang flight namin.


Review of Bellevue:


- super ganda ng resort, very clean, ang ganda ng infinity pool nila.
- we paid for 30,000 for 3 nights and 4 days stay at the deluxe room (2 adults and 1 child that's 2 queen size beds), I love the room kahit hindi ocean view, love their beds and the bathroom, may bathtub siya kahit deluxe lang, everyday housekeeping na super linis, as in we were pampered.
- breakfast buffet is included (masasarap naman ang food, mamimiss ko ang buffet spread nila.
- konti ng guests, kahit pasko, kaya na solo namin ang pool at ibang facilities.
- may lifeguard at security palagi sa paligid, so you'd feel safe always.
- Yung beach nila medyo madumi (dried seaweeds), pero gusto ko yung sand as in parang baby powder na binasa.

- sa lunch and dinner, ala carte meals lang available, medyo pricey for a serving, pero big serving naman so okay na rin.

- nabastusan ako dun sa male receptionist nila who assisted us, kasi we asked him kung maganda ba ang view sa room namin, he sarcastically laughed, and answered "yes". Then turned out, kaya pala siya tumawa, kasi pagsilip namin dun sa window, may ginagawang bahay ang view, na nairita ako kasi he lied, na pwede naman niyang sabihin ang totoo na hindi ocean view then maybe he could offer us, kung gusto namin ng ocean view, willing naman kami to add kung sakali, eh kaso ang bastos niya. Siya lang din ang tauhan ng bellevue na hindi bumabati sa guests ever, ang taray niya grabe.

we originally wanted an ocean view room eh sabi naman nung dati na nagpapa reserve pa lang ako, hindi daw nila maga guarantee kung may available sa travel date namin.

-Nagpalipat kami ng room, kasi sa 3rd floor ba naman kami nilagay ni "amalayer", eh kasama ko anak ko, so buti na lang yung nakausap kong female receptionist mabait, nilipat niya kami sa 1st floor, super lapit na sa pool.

- The rest of the staff ng bellevue, very accommodating na, palaging naka greet, yung bukod tanging male receptionist lang na yun ang dapat tinatanggal na dun, pampasira siya ng record ng bellevue sa totoo lang.

I wrote all of these sa feedback form nila, sana maturuan nila ng leksiyon yung lalaking yun, pampasira siya ng mood. 


Day 2:


- country side tour kami c/o Kuya Tatsky Cubero, siya talaga yung nag tour guide, super bait niya, on time siyang dumating sa Bellevue, at hinatid din niya kami pauwi. 2,300 siningil niya sa amin (car) kasi hatid sundo nga sa bellevue, pero ginawa ko na lang 2,500 kasi we enjoyed naman yung laboy namin with him.

Itinerary:

1. Chocolate Hills - yung 214 steps pataas kakapagod hahaha, tapos ang lakas ng hangin sa taas kaya bumaba na kami agad. Yung walk way pababa eh nasira ng lindol kaya yung stairs lang available for up and down.

2. Butterfly Farm - na enjoy ko naman ang butterfly super kulit pa ng guide namin doon.

3. Hanging Bridge - love ko to hehe.

4. Man made forest (twilight) - love ko din, very surreal ang feeling hehe

5. Tarsier - tulog naman sila, nag wowork daw sa call center lol.

6. Loboc River Cruise - sa riverwatch kami dinala ni kuya tatsky, okay naman ang food typical, pero hindi na kami sumama sa mismong cruise, kasi bigla akong nahilo. 450/head.

sana ni try ko yung nakita ko sa blog na "village floating resto", kasi parang mas masarap ang presentation ng food doon.

Then nagpadaan kami kay kuya tatsky sa grocery before heading back to bellevue.


IMPORTANT:

Yung roads passable na lahat, so no need to worry, nagawan na nila ng solusyon kahit temporary pa lang, then nakita din namin yung mga churches na nasira, bukod sa churches, wala naman masyado akong nakitang nasira.

No hassle sa road, as in, no traffic, pwera lang sa city kasi madaming tao na.

 


Day 3:

- we paid island hopping tour ng Bellevue for 5,950 (3 persons), meals not included.

- we went to Balicasag Island, nakahiram kami doon ng underwater cam for 1,300, medyo pricey pero looking at our photos, sulit na din for me, since malinaw siya.
- super breath taking ang snorkeling site ng Balicasag, ang ganda ng corals, ng mga fishes, tapos nakakita kami ng pawikan eating sea grass underwater, dalawa sila, kaya happy na happy kami talaga sobra.
- Then nag lunch kami sa balicasag island, for 1,290 pesos we had inihaw na red lips fish na super laki, calamares 1/2 kgs., lechon kawali 1/4, 3 rice and two mango shakes, naku busog na busog kami hahaha. Super tagal nga lang i serve nung food, more than an hour, since niluluto pa talaga nila after mo orderin.
- Then we went to Virgin island, ayun picture picture, kumain kami ng banana cue at uminom ng buko juice mula sa buko shell hehe.
- nakabalik kami ng bellevue around 3pm na.

- sulit naman for me yung price ng bellevue sa sea tour kasi may tour guide kami then exclusive sa amin yung boat, si kuya jef jef our guide, tinuruan niya anak ko na magsnorkel super bait, then drinking water on board, then kasama na sa bayad yung equipment (life vest, mask, flippers, etc.), bread for fish feeding and the two boat men. So okay na din, nag enjoy naman kami.


Day 4:

pabalik na kami ng Manila.



Super happy kami sa Bohol, as in kung pwede ko lang i-pause yung moments na nandun kami, lalo na sa Balicasag island, while seeing the underwater creatures, ay naku, kung pwede lang talaga i pause, at i replay replay ang moment na yun, super enjoyable.


Thank you so much mga sis for everything, sa lahat ng advices ninyo, mabuhay kayong lahat 


sa mga sis natin na planning pa lang, huwag kayong matakot na pumunta sa Bohol, no hassle, unless pupunta kayo sa mismong epicenter ng lindol lol, eh lahat ng roads okay na, as in walang ka hassle hassle.

@little_princess, nung dec 9 parang may "resort" blessing, so baka by next year, fully operational na sila ulit.

@snowball, oonga sis, medyo ma-seaweeds nga kahit sa bolod beach, ang dami ding dumi. natawa ako dun sa "amalayer" staff, bad trip naman yun. sana mapagsabihan.

Nga pala do you think we let go for loboc river? kasi me mga bata kami kasama we have 2,3,4 kids with us.. na ang gugulo.. kaya baka di namin maenjoy ang pagkain dun.. at baka di safe?

and eto pa.. sabi ng 2go jan 2 pa daw sila magbebenta ng ticket. ok lang naman no???
kahit january 5 ang trip? 650 kasi sa kanila 2 way na, sa ocean jet kasi 820 na via kathy.. huhuhu.. I checked also sa isang agency na nakabase sa cebu 890 naman sa kanya waaa..

hahaha, eh amalayer siya talaga, kada makakasalubong namin yun, sasabihin ko sa kapatid ko "amalayer?" hahahaha. inaasar ko lang. Sana nga makarating sa management yung feedback ko. Pero bukod sa kanya, lahat na ng staff mababait na.

Pero na enjoy pa din ng anak ko yung beach, daming starfish, tapos mga crabs nakakatuwa hahaha.

sis, wala na kaming naramdaman na lindol pa, as in, oh hindi ko lang namalayan hehe, pero sabi ni kuya tatsky wala na daw talaga, pero sa epicenter daw, meron pa rin.

Re: Loboc river, ako talaga sis kung nakasama ko yung 2 years old na bunso ko, hindi na din kami pupunta doon hahaha, kasi nga feeling ko tatalon siya sa ilog, ganun siya kalikot lol.

For me lang, hindi siya safe sa may maliit na kids na kasama, lalo na kung hyper, kasi pwede silang mahulog while on cruise.

Yung anak ko na kasama ko kasi eh 8 yrs old na kaya tahimik na.

I suggest kung matutuloy kayo, try ninyo yung Village floating resto, huwag kayo sa riverwatch, hindi ko masyadong nagustuhan ang food, napaka typical na food, sabagay 450/head lang yun, asa pa ba akong gourmet? hahaha.

ahh salamat so talagang skip ko na ang loboc at tama ka feeling ko tatalon yun 2 yr old ko anak.
kala nya pool.. wag na pala baka kasi malingat kami bigla sya tumakbo hindi maawat.. kaso if tutuloy mga kasama ko.. kasi nasa isang van lang kami e. meron ba kami pwede pag antayan dun? at me pagkain ba dun hahaha..

^ actually sis, hindi naman basta basta makakatalon, kasi may harang naman siya, kaso kung katulad ng anak ko na hyper, naku I am so sure na kung nakasama siya aakyatin niya yun tapos tatalon eh baka busy ako nun pagkuha ng food hahahaha.


Pwede ninyong gawin yung ginawa namin, kumain pa din kami, kasi pag kainan naman naka dock lang yung floating resto, kapag nakakain na lahat, saka sila aalis, so bago umalis, eh bundat naman na kami sa busog, hindi na kami sumama bumaba na kami kasi nahihilo ako kasi nagalaw yung boat.

Make sure na lang na una kayo sa pila, para kataon na busog na kayo, saka pa lang paalis yung boat.

May waiting area naman dun, aircon pa, saka may Tv at libreng pc internet, so no problem naman sa pag aaantayan sis, doon din kami tumambay while waiting for kuya tatsky to pick us up hehe.

how much boat charge if we go to Virgin Island from Alona Beach?

Hi mga sis, eto na ang pinaka cramming mode ka pag plano ng vacation namin. As we all know, may nangyari sa bohol last year kaya nagstop kami mag plan. Nag resume lang kami this week para sa Feb 16 to 19 namin na trip to bohol. Nagkaroon pa ng konting problem si hubby sa schedule kaya inayos pa namin. But anyway here's our plan and some questions and please feel free to comment and answer. Thanks.

Feb 16

11:25 am - arrival at Tagbilaran
Saan kaya OK mag lunch na malapit lang sa airport. Balak kasi namin magpasundo after lunch? Or is it better to have lunch at the resort (white and greens)
2:00 pm - check-in at white and greens resort. Rest then beach bumming lang sa hapon. Malapit ba to sa beach? lalakarin lang? may kasama kasi kaming bata kaya prefer namin na malapit sa beach para di na magb-byahe.

Feb. 17

early morning - island hopping, Balicasag daw maganda according sa mga nabasa ko dito, may iba pa ba kayong ma-s-suggest? Magkano usually ang rate ng ganito? Pwede rin daw dun magpaluto ng lunch? Madali lang ba itong i-arrange? Gusto ko sana mag early lunch na dun bago bumalik ng resort.

Feb 18

kailangan na bumalik ni hubby ng manila (10am flight), kaya naisip ko ihatid na lang namin sya tapos derecho ng countryside tour. Possible kaya ito? Magkano ba ang rate ng countryside tour? Di kami kasya sa car kasi 7 kami.

after the tour pahinga na kami kasi pabalik na kami ng Manila ng Feb 19.
