I don't find anything wrong naman with Riza Santos joining all the pageants. dapat ganun ang mindset ng lahat, try lang ng try until you succeed.

I saw pala sa cable na live ang showing ng Miss U sa Velvet channel 80 ng 2AM. I havent checked if we have it on our Destiny cable. If meron man din, I dont think I can watch it. Alanganing oras. Hehe.

buti hindi issue sa Canada yung roots ni Riza Santos, kahit pa Canadian citizen siya eh purong pinay pala siya dahil both parents niya eh Filipinos. atleast 100% pinoy.  hindi nga rin siya mukhang Caucasian.

^^ mukhang tama ka sis!  Hindi nga siguro big deal sa kanila ang ganitong mga pageants.  Kung manalo si Riza, sa Canada pa rin ang glory because she represented the country kahit na 100% pinay siya.

I also don't find anything wrong kung maraming beses nang sumasali sa mga beauty pageants ang isang tao.  Bilib nga din ako sa fighting spirit nila and not giving up.

Hindi big deal ang pageants dito at hindi rin big deal ang lahi. They embraced multi-culturalism. Karamihan naman ng representative nila ay hindi full blooded Canadians. Yung nanalong Miss Universe few years ago, hindi nga dito pinanganak.

Actually mas bet ko pa si Riza kesa ke Ariella, there's something about her talaga na di ko type, pero
siyempre bilang Miss Philippines, sana siya pa din manalo. Pero matutuwa din ako kung si Riza.

i agree with most ex-beauty queens na may element of destiny ang pagkuha sa korona, you may or may not be the prettiest or not have the best answer, kung para sa iyo sa iyo, one can only do her best

Hindi naman kasing crazed ang ibang countries sa beauty pageant so no big deal if Riza is of Filipino heritage. I recall may controversy sa Ms. Universe Canada, hindi siya yung na-announce na winner tapos tinawagan na lang siya at dun nalaman na siya pala talaga ang winner

In terms of personality, parehong ayaw ko kay Ariella at Riza. Anyhow, they still bring pride so best of luck!
