Help! My toddler refuses to brush her teeth

Naku ako naman tinatago ang toothbrush at toothpaste kasi pag nakikita ni bunso (2years old) kahit di pa oras ng pagtu-toothbrush nagwawala pag di pinayagan..  Naumpisahan ko kasi siya sa masarap na flavor na toothpaste kaya naaliw siya pag nagbabrush.

what we did:

1. started early kahit wala pang teeth. for the gums naman. baka masakit ang toothbrush nila? try banana bendable toothbrush.
2. i showed her videos of kids brushing teeth.
3. To teach her naman how to brush on her own, sabaykami magtoothbrush.

ang prob ko ngayon, namimili sya ng toothpaste. Oral B for kids ang gusto nya so far.
Tried other toothpaste, ayaw, i ended up giving them away. at 4.5 yo, thank goodness no cavity daw sabi ng dentist. Lately lang sya natuto kumain ng chocolate, pili pa. She doesnt like candies. Pero cookies naku, winner.

I have the same problem    Noong mga 8mos sya wala ako problem sa pagbrush pero simula nung mag 1.5yo na sya paikli na ng paikli ang toothbrush time.  Swerte na yung mabrush ko both baba and taas na front rows ng teeth nya.

what we did that worked sometimes:

1) kumanta habang nagbrush ng teeth nya
2) bring toys sa sink, play nya yung mga toys with running water sa faucet then brush ko yung teeth nya habang naglalaro sa sink
3) we let him brush daddy's teeth then sabay ako brush ko teeth nya hehe
4) habang may pinapanood sa smartphone na youtube nursery rhymes nagpapabrush sya ng teeth

May binili ako sa watson's SansFluo, parang leave on product na nagpprevent ng plaque.  I sometimes apply that to his teeth parang ok naman.

Konting patience pa sa atin mga mommies   Iniisip ko na motivation is baby's healthy set of teeth until he turns 5 /6 yo

I use Sansfluo gel toothpaste for my 2 yr old toddler. Dati iyak ng iyak when it comes to brushing his teeth, but he sees his kuya brush his own teeth and I got them both yung toothbrush na umiilaw as its timer when to stop brushing. Aliw sila doon kaya okay na ang brush time namen

Yung baby (16 mos)  ko naman super addict mag toothbrush.. kaya tinatago namin kasi pagnakikita niya kukunin niya talaga.. 10 mos pa lang siya nun binilhan ko na siya ng toothbrush.. everytime makikita niya kami magtoothbrush ni hubby hahanapin niya rin toothbrush niya, gusto din magtoothbrush.
Pero minsan hindi masyado nalilinis yunh front teeth niya kaya ginagawa ko kinikiskis ko ng lampin yung ngipin niya, kunwari na lang pinapakagat ko daliri ko tapos tatangalin ko.. kaya tawa siya ng tawa pag ganun.
